(camera shuttering) Hello, my name is Ken Harmon.
I'm a photographer.
I watch the weather very closely.
I used to work out of my car and sleep in my car with a Siberian Husky because we lived in the Twin Cities.
So I would drive two to four and a half hours to come up to this area to do photography.
I grew up on an Indian reservation out in North Dakota.
There's a huge difference in the landscapes in western North Dakota.
I grew up near Lake Sakakawea in the Bad Lands.
And there's not a whole lot of trees but there's some very expansive and beautiful views.
That sort of kicked me off into being a landscape photographer.
I just love the scenery.
I also loved forests and lots of water.
I grew up around lots of water with Lake Sakakawea.
A lot of my best pictures are probably something that happens on the way to getting that other picture.
The exact opposite view is wy better than what I expected.
