I have no idea.
I'm not waving, gene.
Oh, sorry.
We didn't mean to bother you.
No bother.
But I'm not waving.
I'm dancing.
That's one of my dance moves.
Oh, okay.
I liked your song.
Why?
Thank you.
Renee.
Oh, yeah.
And I've never heard of the Hemlock Varnish Shop.
Wait, how do you know our names?
The property that Biraland is on abuts this forest.
I see you every day, but we've never seen you before.
Before?
Before you were unaware, as you were discussing earlier.
But now, as your focus sharpens, nature is beginning to reveal itself to you.
Are you a fairy?
Close.
I'm a nymph.
My name is Lady Sergei of the fallen Woods.
Whoa!
You're a nymph like a wood nymph.
I am a fungi nymph of the day message.
To be exact.
And you have a new guest that I would very much like to meet.
Guest.
The spore.
Oh, you mean buh buh?
Yes.
They fell into one of Mendelssohn's potions, right?
Yeah.
His new growth potions malfunctioning or something?
Well, I look forward to hearing all about it.
But I must leave you now to prepare for the BFA this evening.
BFF?
The Brackett fungi festival.
There's a festival for Brackett.
Fungi.
Indeed.
We're actually several days into it already.
It began with a derma resinous on the resinous polymer.
Then janitor message was two nights ago.
Then last night was for Linus Rubini.
Oh, but it's going to be so bummed they missed that one.
A cracked cap, poly pour spa.
Well, I suppose the adventure of meeting you all was worth the forfeit.
What fungi is tonight?
Foamy ferment areas.
The host of conk.
Why?
Does that sound familiar?
Have you heard of Ötzi the Iceman?
That's it.
The horse of Kronk was one of the mushrooms he had with him, right?
Yes.
Who's Ötzi?
He's that guy they found frozen in the Italian Alps back in the early 90s.
Why would I know about that?
Because his body was so well preserved.
They thought it was someone who'd recently gotten lost.
But then it turned out he actually died up there 5000 years ago.
Oh, that guy didn't have, like, a copper ax with him or something.
Yes, exactly.
That's Ötzi.
Wow.
So people were using horse hoof conk mushrooms all the way back then?
Oh, long before that.
Rene.
You have much to learn about humankind's history of utilizing nature's creations to their benefit.
And from his fame in Paris is no exception.
It is a mushroom with many names and many uses.
Some, I predict, will surprise you.
Anyway, I really must be going.
But please give this to her.
It will also serve as a guide for them and yourselves to find the festival this evening.
It was so lovely to finally meet you both in person, and I look forward to seeing you and the rest of your friends tonight.
Farewell.
Bye bye.
It was lovely to meet you, too.
Yeah.
She is.
She's waving now, right?
No, I'm still just dancing.
I'm dancing away.
You're sure we're going the right direction?
Da da da da.
But the bu says were close.
I think I hear drums.
Those lights ahead.
Must be it.
