Jimmy Urzua’s 7-yard TD pass to North Carolina commit Josh Downs with :03 remaining in the first half gave North Gwinnett the lead for good and led to it’s 38-17 win over McEachern in the 7-A semi-finals. The Bulldog defense created four turnovers to make up for four turnovers of their own as North Gwinnett advanced to its third state championship game in ten years.
