Two-time defending Class 3-A champion Cedar Grove got two rushing TD’s from Austin Smith to upset 2018 Class 7-A champ Milton 14-7. It was the Saints first game of the season after having two cancelled due to covid. Cedar Grove later had to forfeit the game due to using an ineligible player. The game had multiple Power 5 recruits, led by Cedar Gove’s DE Christen Miller and Milton DE LT Overton.
