The Norcross defense held the high-powered Colquitt Co. offense to 145 total yards as the #3 ranked Blue Devils upset the #2 Packers 17-7 in a 7-A quarterfinal battle. Norcross QB Mason Kaplan threw a two-yard pass to Lawson Luckie, set up a field goal with a 37-yard bomb to Zion Alexander and then scored on a 4-yard run for coach Keith Maloof’s Blue Devils who went to 13-0 with the win.
