Georgia’s top program of the 2000’s overwhelmed the all-time winningest as Buford built a 31-0 halftime lead and overwhelmed Valdosta 45-26. The schools had 36 combined state title’s entering the game. The Wolves got a 76-yard TD pass to Alabama commit Jake Pope, a 70-yard Tommy Beuglas INT return and Colorado commit Victor Venn’s 33-yard TD run in the first six minutes and were never threatened.
