Foreign service personnel cuts at the State Department is the subject of new criticism.

Top-level foreign service personnel cuts at the State Department is the subject of pointed new criticism by a former U.S. ambassador. In a letter written for the Foreign Service Journal, Barbara Stephenson of the American Foreign Service Association railed against the cuts, arguing it could harm America’s ability to retain its role as a global leader.
