Former Marine says it's about the training
Clip: Season 2 Episode 19 | 4m 48s
Wallace says there's good and bad in the military lifestyle
He put in four years as a Marine in the 1980s, and Mark Wallace says the culture of playing hard and partying hard can encourage violence and drug dependency. Facing a lengthy sentence for malicious wounding, Wallace says he has not lost the sense of honor and pride from having served. But he says, too, that veterans need support to come home peacefully, after having been trained to kill.
