we've got some of the easiest to use snowshoes out there um they're free to try around our trails on the property here i think it really started with you know noticing what we couldn't offer to people which was the indoor dining experience that we normally offer when the temperatures are this cold so we wanted to do something a little bit different some of the snow shoes we already had in the bike shop and then dan went looking in the in the local community to find some more snowshoes especially snowshoes the kids could use so they could enjoy the trails as well the trails are open to anyone a lot of the public comes and walks their dogs on our our trails here even when we're not open they are groomed so we ask that you don't walk on them with just boots that you do do wear snow shoes and make sure you're not sinking through the snow i had never tried until i was in a place where i could where i could use them and it's really there's a pretty large initial barrier to trying out something that you don't know if you're gonna like because they look kind of awkward they look you know pretty clunky and like they might not be all that much fun but then you actually strap them strap them on your feet and get out in the woods and realize how much easier it makes moving through the snow and you know exploring our our little winter wonderland here the slice from wdse wrpt
