I'm here with founders Christine and Jeffrey of Northwest Navigation.
Can you tell me how this incredible venture got started?
The two of us actually met in a bar.
We met through a friend, and both of us had interest in helping people experience the outdoors, and also in hospitality.
Yeah, and the night that we met, we were sort of talking about things.
And Jeffrey asked me, about what my dreams were, and I kind of wanted a bed and breakfast in the San Juan Islands, and he, asked me if my bed and breakfast could float, if it had to have a foundation or maybe it can just float.
And that seemed like a really good idea.
And it might be the best pickup line ever.
What keeps you guys going and what's next in the future?
This business has been amazing for us.
I didn't realize when we got into this how much what we were doing would change the people who are actually coming on the trips.
Seeing nature right up close.
We live in this awesome place in the northwest, and it's just it's above and beyond pretty much anything that a lot of people have seen.
And it's really rewarding, actually, for us to be able to take people to see things like that and see them in a week long trip, be changed by it.
From one explorer to another and another.
Thank you so much for having us aboard the David B. It's been an incredible and special experience.
I'm Angela, thank you for exploring.
I'll see ya.
