Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- [Interviewer] Clarrissa, how do you guys come out of the pandemic, and how are you different as a business and as a community asset than you were when it all started?
- I'd say we're different.
Leonard mentioned before just we didn't realize how much support we had in our community and abroad.
So that definitely has continued, not on the scale that we saw it over last, I don't know, May, June, but it definitely has continued.
And a lot more people, customers are more conscious on wanting to support independent bookstores and small businesses and businesses of color.
And that support, I think there was always support there before the pandemic, but I think it really just increased with that, that more intentional buying and wanting to keep the dollars in the community.
So I think the support, for me, has really just been, that's the biggest, right, because people really wanna see us survive and continue and not... With so many businesses closing due to the pandemic, people are just like, "No, we are not gonna let this happen to our favorite bookstore in Roxbury," so for sure.
