Since 1996 Saturday and Sunday afternoons have meant Funtime Polka on Pioneer Public Television. Original shows were taped at the Gibbon Ballroom in Gibbon, Minn., and edited into half-hour toe-tapping "oompah" episodes for legions of loyal polka enthusiasts. In more recent years Pioneer Public TV has taped at the Larry Olsen Polka Festival in Lake Benton, Minn.
