I'm one of the artists that is, included in the gender art gender Joy art show.
I am a painter.
I do digita art as well as graphic design.
I think it's really important to, showcase joy in gender because.
I feel like a lot of the topics around gender right.
Now are they're very.
Volatile.
There's a lot of really icky feeling.
So I think that expressing joy and happiness and gender i really important in this time.
So my piece is called Nurture Inverse.
It's a piece about kind of like showing nurturing and mothering to myself throughout the years.
So this is like five different.
Versions of me.
Throughout my lifetime.
And I think it's importan for in in regards to my gender, I think that women, They're kind of taught to tak care of everybody around them, but not really themselves.
So this piece is kind of about celebrating, showing compassion and, love to myself.
I think that art is it' really nurturing for the soul.
You know, people like to see things not just expressed in words, but kind of like showcasing exactly how we feel and expressing, how we're experiencing that joy in our lives.
