- Well, you know, I love listening to music, all kinds and almost any kinda music will do.
'Cause what it does is get the blood going evenly throughout the body.
But sometimes I'll take a walk.
Or sometimes I'll just go out and watch an ant crawl.
Anything to relax and slow down.
And slow down.
And then there's creative art activities you can do that will do that.
It's just like an athlete, before he shoots a foul shot, you'll see him a what we call visualize where he likes to go through the motion.
Or you see a runner, particularly like a broad jumper or a high jumper, just stand there and just rock.
And what they're doing, they're visualizing themselves.
You almost see yourself go through the whole motion, or you see yourself go through that whole activity, or, it happens quite a bit with athletes, but there's no set way.
Our dancers will be backstage and do movements backstage before they go out on cue.
So each of us look for that way to find a way to get those juices to flow, and to get through that head space where you know that it's working.
