He's coming in.
It's slammed too hard to pull up from three to watch this guy.
Goal drive backs it in and gets it from the Macon Coliseum in the Macon Center Flex Championship, 13 of 15 here at Macon Madness.
It is the boys class triple-A championship between the Buford Wolves coming in with a record of 27 and five out of reach in seven, going up against Morgan County, chasing after their first ever state title as well.
With the record of 25 and five out of region eight.
I am John this is Sean.
Thanks for accessing this however you do so whether it's here on GPB TV, GPB org or the GPB sports app, this game is not going to be a game at the beach at all.
These are two teams who have met each other in a non region, home and home.
Alan White Hart, the head coach of Buford, gives the keys to the car to his point guard Matt McMorris, and tells him point blank, Are we driving a Pinto or are we driving a Porsche?
Well, that's an interesting analogy, John.
I think tonight you don't need a Pinto.
No, of course you need a car that you can depend on.
A good old forward, a good old Chevrolet, something that gets you from A to Z, something you don't have to spend a lot of time and energy on.
That means high assist, low turnovers.
Madison is here.
The entire town of Madison seems like they are here.
They have packed American Coliseum to the rafters and you see the seats are normally blue.
That is a lot of red.
They are here to support the Bulldogs and we talk about these two teams, non region rivals in a home and home.
There aren't any secrets here, John.
We talked about that in the beginning, about secrets.
There aren't any secrets right in the household.
But it's the little things, the little plays today.
Today's contest, John, will add up to something big and that's what's important.
Who can do the little things, Who can dissect the defense, who can make high percentage shots and then the person that comes out with the right mind frame and can sustain the intensity throughout the entire contest.
One of the players for Morgan County that they're going to be looking at all day has already said he's heading to Starkville.
It's Tookie Brown.
This young man knows how to play the basketball game.
He scores well with the ball shoots the ball deep.
I like the fact that he's scoring over 25 points a game close to 26.
But what he does, John, he's a leader on the floor.
If you want to talk about leader on the floor, how about height on the floor for Buford?
Now, he is a man of boys down low loop.
And I love what he does.
He scores inside out, but he has nice touch away from the rim.
John Watson me here in the warm ups.
He shoots the ball very well, effectively outside the arc.
He's going to put up some big numbers in today's contest averaging a double double heading to UConn.
Let's take a look at the rest of the Buford starting five brought to us by our friends at Regions Bank.
Regions Bank.
It's time to expect more.
There's the man with the keys to the car on the far left, Matt McMorris Taylor Mills, DeMarcus Simons, Keaton, Gibson, Rakeem, Lubin.
All six eight of him will be in the paint for Buford.
On the flip side, Morgan County to Brown.
We talked about him just a second ago, Davon Gibbs, Jaylen Ingram, Joseph Rogers and C.J Turman will be in the middle for Morgan County.
Let's talk keys to the game brought to us by our friends at the technical college system of Georgia Tech.
Learn more, earn more Morgan County.
Those of you at home understand this is not a typo.
Attention to detail simplicity makes size more.
You kind of likes to shoot outside and so they have to make three balls tonight.
All right, flip side.
That is not a typo.
Again.
Not a typo.
Again, these teams have played twice already.
John Buford, attention to detail.
It's the little things that make a big difference.
Again, making shots.
They want to go inside out with the big fella down low.
Both of these teams are going to come out, hit John with a lot of passion.
There's so much energy in this building.
As we get ready to start, there's your Buford head coach Allen Wide Heart spent his time at Centennial, took them to a state title appearance before losing to Norcross.
He's then the head coach of Buford, now a couple of seasons, and he has brought them to Macon both times.
He is looking for the first ever Boys championship to add to the pedigree of Buford across the board in triple-A in their athletics.
Now to the flip side, Charlemagne, given his father, was a history major and a history teacher, Big Charlie and little Charlie, his dad, the dean of admissions at Alabama State.
So instead of being Charlie, he is Charlemagne.
And let's see if he can be a learner of history today with what has happened in these first two match ups.
And we talked about Morgan County.
We talked about Madison.
Madison actually showed up early during the girls game to get warmed up so they could get used to cheering against Buford.
Yeah, John, it's hard to hear ourselves even talk as we get prepared to start this game.
But one word you talked about, John, is history.
Both of these programs of searching for that first state boys championship, both of these coaches have a lot of nervous energy.
So look for the teams, John, to come out even though they faced each other once, twice already this season.
Look for both teams to come out in attack mode.
When last year's tournament started, a lot of folks thought that Morgan County was one of the favorites to win because the Bulldogs were outscored in their opponents by 20 points.
The game the title run was cut short in round two by North Hall.
That was a bit of a wakeup call for Morgan County and it has served them well to come to the final game of the year in triple-A today.
There's your officials, Terrance Isom, Mark Counts and Calvin Shelby getting ready to toss it up here for the boys triple-A championship.
T.J. Thurmond going up and he'll win.
The tap, knocks it all the way into the back court.
Morgan County gets a first.
Jalen Ingram, C.J.
Thurmond, Joseph Rodgers walking the perimeter.
There's to keep brown keep an eye on him all day down low Big physical presence off the glass too hard rebound picked up Morgan County though reset quickly to key Brown back rim no good rebound comes to Buford and they'll take it out for the first time games that we talked about in the keys making shots too missed opportunities right there to get points on the board.
There's Matt McMorris Hill drive the car for the wolves today, asking Taylor Mills to come out guarded by two key Brown double team Quick down into Lubin on the block, dribbles underneath high off the glass no rebound picked up Thurmond Morgan County Try it again.
Hey, John.
There's two big men down low working very hard.
Love it, love it, love it.
Brown of the Von Gibbs playing catch to key Brown pulls up jumper whistle doesn't count They got a foul with the UCLA action John back screen ball screen was really good with the two man game on the weak side that's the way that Morgan wants to play.
They want to utilize the big fella setting ball screens first and post up second.
Five £170 point guard, first free throw off the back of the rim.
No good gain over a minute into the game.
Nobody has any points on the board, so still feeling each other out.
Perhaps we'll still get both teams to have to get into a rhythm.
John And that is what happens in a state championship environment.
Can see you can shake it off first.
Buford coming up the floor down one nothing is chippy.
Brown made the back end of the two shots near corner three pointer too much double teamed on the inside was moving by both Jaylen Ingram and C.J Thurmond Lubin hit the deck.
Well the interesting thing about that called zone of the fish is going to hit the two big fellas play I don't think you'd call it that call understanding what's really happening and what's at stake.
They've been battling all first minute of the game and you can't console them and not allow them to battle all night long.
Fouls on C.J Thurmond Scramble off the possession It's going to go Buford way dribble on the baseline call a foul underneath on key and Gibson you serve with two fouls early C.J Thurmond also with three rebounds early for Morgan County Dizzy hands knock it out of bounds and stay with Morgan County 144 ends There's Alan Reinhart.
When he first took the position at Boozer, they asked him about class size.
Does it make a difference?
He says no, basketball's a basketball.
You're going to have talented players across the board regardless of classification.
We're seeing that a lot this weekend here in Macon.
Tookie Brown loses the handle heat and Gibson does, too.
They're coming back the other way with it.
There's Charlemagne Givens, he and White Hart friends away from the floor, and they had a hole in their schedule and they were like, okay, what do we do to fill this hole?
Keeton Gibson A great drive for two.
They came up with the two non region games, the home and home and and that's good basketball.
John Those coaches understand you can be better if you have to be the best.
You've got to beat the best.
That's what's important.
That's the fun part about playing high school basketball and scheduling.
Paraphrasing Ric Flair I like that junior jumper rim, no jam, so that's how you need to score.
That's exactly how you need to score with a little emphasis on the deuce.
Jalen Ingram The early exclamation point for Morgan County.
But John, he came back in court back from the banks of Mississippi and finished it hard down That was from Reynolds Plantation that was so far back coming back the other way.
Jackie Brown pull up dish Thurman lowers his shoulder.
Got it for the big shot man He's good.
Great hands, great body control to avoid that second foul here early in the first quarter pressure on Morris by to key Brown Gibson near corner Gibson DeMarcus Simons kicks off picks away back comes Morgan County Jackie Brown thinking about it role on the perimeter found an opening off the glass so this is a and use music call a timeout to control the tempo of the game John there's too much like this the inside the building for them not to call a timeout down by five DeMarcus Simmons lost control of it got possession back but they're going to call steps on it Let's see right now he wants to drive the pin so he's got to not think about the point John and drive something that's dependable.
Six a run for Morgan County as they're up seven two as we approach the halfway point of the first quarter kick back out Ingram shot was deflected out of bounds.
It'll stay with Morgan County seven Gibbs will inbound for the Bulldogs looped in high to the Warriors Brown to brown jumper rimmed out No rebound the team leaving McMorris having to battle to get his way up the floor.
Gibson calling for wide open ball got kicked wide open all the way down to Key Brown Time out You have to call a timeout.
You have to get everything back under control.
If you.
Buford and not let the block the bleeding begin early and see what the whistle is.
Looks like the foul is going to be on Jalen England that'll be his first and do have a media coming up very soon Something like that's what coach White Hart was like that coming down the floor is that right, John?
Is that the right movement to inbound to Nick Morris Simonds high off the lob intercepted by Thurmond shifty Brown taking his time Morgan County up seven early hill drives way off the right hip and high off the glass for two timeout Allen wide arc 1001 for Morgan County Madison making a statement early and so did Jalen Ingram class triple a championship here in the balance he made just got shot Morgan County has hit five of their last seven from the floor they lead 11 two on a ten run 342 for the first and we talk about making statements early.
Morgan County wanted to make this statement.
They've got the crowd behind them and you want to talk a statement, bring it.
That is a dunk tip state miss.
He's his third down John.
He caught it from way back.
He went back to 1968.
He caught that dunk.
And that's the kind of plays you want and you need, especially with this type of support here for Morgan County.
But you can create the type of atmosphere that they bring and you create a play.
You have a play like that.
John Hey, everything's on your side.
You talk about energy.
You talk about first times playing in their first state title game since 1990, when they lost to Mitchell Baker on this floor.
Get this big crowd behind you early.
And it's almost like a home game three and a half to go first quarter.
Jalen Ingram ends up with the basketball quick pace back the other way Nice strip job by Keeton Ingram to keep it from being an easy two John his interesting stat 6 to 2 what am I talking about six turnovers to two turnovers Buford Buford is asking beef is not doing a good job.
John is handling the basketball team and Gibson knocks it out of bounds.
Some Morgan Stanley gets to reset.
Give him go Jalen Ingram missed everything coming back will be the future Bulls Let's see how Buford responds here in the course pull up looks like it was partially blocked on the way up C.J Thurmond got a piece high up in the air Who's going to get the jowls.
Looks like it's going to be Lubin for Buford and he's looking to get rid of the basketball.
And he does too.
Brown easy layup turned into a dunk and see those are the plays John you do not want when you turn the ball over you cannot allow an easy basket in transition allow dunks to go the other way and those are bad turnovers that great two something big foul on Devon Gibbs on the blow by Let's take another look again big fella Don't need to be handle the ball out of the perimeter get into a point guard to get doing his thing Finish it with nice too at 510 the elevator hits the roof.
DeMarcus Simons double teamed when he wanted to penetrate pass forced into loop and back comes Morgan County two and a half for the first they're up 13 to Thurmond passing all the way around Jalen Ingram dribble drive on Simons dish to Thurmond out of control picked up by Buford Now try to come back Simons to McMorris he thought about it Jumper in the corner three is good by in big Montgomery band border Yeah that was a much needed basket especially with it being the three John from the corner for Buford.
Now maybe they can get back into the game and settle down there out by to Brown and see what they're going to call here.
It's going to be a foul on Lubin.
That's what they're going to do.
They're going to call a foul on Rakeem Ludeman as Tookie Brown tried to drive and see.
That's the thing that guards don't understand, John.
Whenever there's a defense on that ball screen, you've got to attack the defense, especially on the soft hit.
See, that's the way to do it.
Lower that shoulder and get by the defense.
That was a great job there by Tookie McMorris.
On to Brown looking to drive brings it back out.
Baseline been open all night so far T.J. starts to see 15 to 5 MKG lines up another three that's his spot.
It was short it might have been partially blocked on the way up to see brown easy pace coming up over halfcourt coming up on 80 seconds for the first active hands by Gordon Gordon looks like they're going to call him with the forearm on the way by That's the one thing John I like about Tookie.
This young man really is now starting to make a name for himself.
Many consider him the top junior point guard in the state.
So he has a lot to prove tonight.
And right now, John is making a strong case.
TJ Starks will inbound from Morgan County into Ingram.
Ingram missed the bunny jousting underneath and looks like DeMarcus Simmons is going to come out with it.
T.J. Thurmond didn't want to pick up his second foul DeMarcus Simons back but Morris looking for him underneath all deflected off the backboard wide open to see Brown again Touchdown The game's on.
Those are turnovers that are leading to the basket just couldn't happen in the championship game in and out of the quarterback's hands out of bounds in a go to Morgan County and yes you're going to see some football presence on the Buford basketball roster.
Montgomery and Gordon part of it.
Isaac.
Now to the big tight end, the six five sophomore.
We'll see him number 32 Aaron hour Buford 10th turnover in the first quarter and it looks like he's going to play four one guarded by and BG down to ten crossover crosses over again Kicks it back out three pointer Got it to Burris Brown with the three Morgan County could not have asked for a better first 8 minutes in the class Triple A championship game.
Buford had it early.
The statement was made.
Jalen Ingram on a 19 three run.
There's the authority figure right there so far.
back for the second quarter on GPP.
When we return, just welcome back.
Meighan Coliseum, Macon Cineplex, Morgan County, the early statement on Buford 20 to 5 as we head to the second 8 minutes, let's send it over to Raven Tirado What's the early word?
Hey, John, these two teams, this isn't the first time they've met this year.
They actually played each other at their respective locations.
They split.
So the third time, I guess you could think of it like rock, paper, scissors, Let's see who's going to win it all.
The other thing is that the only loss that Morgan County had was to be for this year.
Since then, they've been 15 and 16.
So we'll see what happens tonight out on the floor.
Back to you guys.
Well, so far, Morgan County has the rock, and I guess Buford is scissors if this is round three of rock, paper, scissors.
But, John, the storylines so far, it's not just to score 25, it's more turnovers.
BUFORD has ten turnovers, two, Morgan County's three.
As a result, Morgan County has scored 15 points off of those ten turnovers, Lou, than low blocks spin up no good in the foul to Marcus Simons with six of those turnovers in the first 8 minutes it's another look at Lubin down low.
Well that's a great move down low big fella was taking it to Thurmond and now Thurmond John has two fouls that's pretty close up and good Keeton Gibson back in remember what happened the game the forest right here on GPB.
Buford had an early statement the first quarter, it was all Buford kept Asia during second 15 one in the game turned into an absolute donnybrook for the other 24 minutes there.
You're exactly right.
That was a great that was a great game.
And you think of it as a dance.
She was terrific.
Taking lines from Mark Harmon right here.
Stretch now 50 Brown on his own follows the 2 to 3 Brown showcasing what he can do as a point guard.
He can score.
He can handle the ball.
He's not turning the ball over John.
He's making a case for that top point guard in the upcoming class of 2015 long jumper attempt by Mike Morris Off the rim.
No good.
Justin Edwards now in the game for Buford number three three Green Here's tookey missed a jumper but he follows his own shot Well that's called energy John that's a hustle play You don't start that All you do thing you do is start the basket.
But the hustle plays.
Morgan County is doing a great job of winning the little battles in the wall.
Simons Pull up.
Got it.
Is there such a thing as coming out, too?
Well, not in this atmosphere, John, because you've got to realize, number one, the support you have here, the crowd's not going to let you lose your enthusiasm.
And when you're making shots and making plays the way that Morgan is doing, I think they can do they're going to sustain that type of energy throughout the game.
Fallaway Simons No good to keep Brown The rebound coming down the floor, guarded by McMorris, had to give up on the defense.
No foul there, no whistle.
Bunch of bodies underneath Tookey Brown for two see that's part coastal fight in livers all of the above he's everything's wrapped up in what he's made up John this young man has high character a high motor and will not stop until he gets the job done.
That's the way to fight.
Allen Keeton Gibson, his second as Gibson initially tried to draw the charge, didn't happen.
Scrum of five bodies down low to key brown already with 15 of Morgan County's 24.
And see John a lot of his points are not just soft made baskets from outside, they're from follow ups there, from layups there from free throws.
He's scoring zone because of his energy and his hustle and being in the right place at the right time.
16th point on the board for two brown 2 minutes in the second quarter and it's 25 to 9.
Morgan County nice bounce pass inside diving Gordon even tries to drive it looks like they're going to call a foul on Joseph Rogers just one to find John and Achilles now in Morgantown he just the fact that you've got the big fella on the bench with two fouls because Buford now can establish themselves down low he's going to move in.
So we're going to see what happens here.
Strategy kind of showcases here in the second quarter.
DeAngelo Glover trying to walk the baseline and we got steps, calls.
It's like a Steps column.
Luke Humphrey, Morgan County back on the offense nice passing Jalen Ingram off the glass and off the rim Missed a shot Buford coming back to try to trim this 16 point lead Montgomery Van Gorder had it thought about the three faked it Simmons guarded by two key Brown was looking for Matt McMorris ball deflect it's going to stay with Buford in BG will inbound the 531 for the first half McMorris and Simons out high in big wide open three rim no big shots.
The shooter spouts a lot of love on that stroke, John.
Lot of love on that shot.
And those are the plays you need to get back into the game.
And Buford spent a little bit of energy, a little bit of momentum.
We'll see what's going to happen.
The no turned into a yes for Buford.
3 minutes in.
It's 2512.
Jackie Brown way up high.
Marcus Simons A chase into the paint Jaylen Ingram blocked punch it hands Busy hands for Buford And you can see how Morgan County County's so different when Thurman is on the bench John Roll missed inside bucket blocked by Jaylen Ingram Third chance everybody hitting the floor coming out with its Morgan County's Devon Gibbs to Brown going on Montgomery bang border at the foul and see right now don't put Thurmond back in the game pulling back he does not need to go back in the game on the defensive end to pick up that third foul.
I see this is Tookie doing it what he does best done in transition, using his body, protecting the basket, have a chance for a three point play.
But John, unfortunately got to question this coach and move by Coach Gibbons.
Big fella has two fouls.
You got a defense possession coming up.
Don't know if I have Thurmond in the game with a chance to pick up three fouls in the first half to keep Brown with 19 as Morgan County's 28.
And let's see if Buford decides to take the ball down low with Rakeem Lubin going on C.J Thurman and his two fouls up no good Lubin going on Turman season two fouls too close of a call defensively right there John don't know foul have him playing yet 14 points with four some teams left to go to halftime I you can go into the half especially with a some type of lead timeout called by Charlemagne Givens and Buford starting to make a bit of a run a lay down 14 354 for the first half Bulldogs up 2814 here on the great GPB Welcome back Macon Coliseum Macon center Flex 354 for the first half Morgan County up two touchdowns on Buford here in the class AA champions hip game.
Let's figure out how these two teams got to this moment in time.
Let's take a look at Georgia EMC leading the way.
Morgan County's road to the championships is 15 point win over Woodward Academy, 18 over East Hall, eight over Cedar Grove and 19 over Johnson, Savannah.
To get to this moment in time.
On the flip side North Murray by 34 double them they're five over blessed Trinity in a grinder Cartersville in another grinder and then feeding Callaway 90 to 76 road to the championship Scratchers by our friends at Georgia EMC lighting the way and John has Specialist Tucker Brown right now here in the first half he's doing it all this young man he's scoring in a variety of ways.
No turnovers, just playing solid basketball with 19 points.
Let's see him, too.
He's had a busy day.
This is when he went up to the penthouse, I believe, to watch as deep.
His quickness.
He is.
Yeah, Nice hands breaking through the defense and right there behind him finishes showing his athletic ability.
19 of Morgan County's 28 looking to drive on that Morris kicks it in to Jalen Ingram and a foul on the inside looks like it's on Isaac now too wearing 22 to see him second quarter field goal is identical both teams three of eight from the floor Jalen Ingram is going to go to the line I see John I'm scared a little bit for Morgan County and the reason why I say that you got Turman, he's still got two fouls you got defense coming up play him on offense.
I'm okay with that because you got a 14 point lead, possibly 16 point lead.
He needs to be out here on the defensive possession coming up banks 330 to go first half you for trying to cut in on this two touchdown advantage by Morgan County Marcus Simons up high guarded by to keep Brown in big cross court so McMorris thinks about the three drives on C.J Turman no good coming back out of it Jaylen Ingram Ingram and Devon Gibbs for 3 minutes to go first half Morgan County being a little bit more deliberate Gibbs guarded by being Gordon bounced into the paint I'm going to call a foul on Ludeman here foul is on move and that's his second Isaac now two checking in.
Justin Edwards checking out for the first.
So now you've got a tight end from the football team on one low block and you've got Rakeem Lubin all six eight of him on the other low block.
C.J Turman on the line.
Well, it tells you the mindset of Buford.
Let's try to establish something inside, see if he can get a chance to foul on the big fella fronting to the one and one missed ball Devon Gibbs for the region and that's his second foul so Gibbs will have to T.J. Starks will come in for Morgan County now let's see what Buford can do here.
Simonds Ty Parker no.
Gets his own rebound.
He and Turman are inside chasing after it.
Alternate possession sends it the other way.
Well, John Offensive and Buford is doing one thing.
They're setting a high ball screen and then they're running Ben Gordon on the baseline, forcing the post guy to make a decision.
Do you go out to contest or do you give up the inside play?
And Ben Gordon has been open on that baseline.
They got to see him so they can make that basket.
Man.
Gordon on to Brown looking for the high lob and that's a credit to tinker bounds on the course and a return Here's a tennis match of a basketball game back and forth, back and forth.
The best two possessions we've had all game loans last about the sum total of 8 seconds Bang Gordon and a third that was an acrobatic move.
Steps ball on DeMarcus Simons Here's one.
Turman Here's your return.
As Turman got beat down the floor by Lubin and then one for good measure.
How about that?
How bout that reverse flush?
That's Georgia basketball.
Georgia High school basketball is on at its best.
There's nothing like it 50 brown easy drive for two and see the momentum wins with Morgan County John Big is taking it down low and finish in the paint touch by a bunch of hands.
Who's it going to stay with?
It's like it's going to stay with Buford on the baseline.
How exciting is this game?
How exciting is this game?
GPB has the rights to show this game.
John.
This is special.
No complaints from us jumper.
Justin Edwards.
Good margin back up to 16, back and forth from 14 to 16 now this time down the formate Morris guarding to keep brown Forget it he is special and those are your home when you watch this game initially you like but in the tonight you're going to love it rimmed out three two key Brown rebound.
The only thing he hasn't done so far is the public address for the national anthem.
John he is doing it all.
That's true.
He did not have the trumpet before the game started.
Tuki Brown with 23 of Morgan County's 37, he's shown his hops with a dunk at 510 jumper rimmed out.
No Isaac now to the rebound 40 seconds to go.
First half.
And the easy question is what can Brown do for you?
Short answer for Morgan County.
Everything.
30 seconds.
Matt McMorris almost got his pocket picked by Chuckie Brown, three point attempt rimmed out, no lube in the rebound, trying to back in picked away Sookie Brown sprinting down the floor on Justin Edwards tries to dish but it's knocked out of bounds to slot up and go just a stare down.
He's playing with so much confidence John He's playing completely at a high level.
He's out high 10 seconds his iso again.
He's so quick and strong with the ball.
Drive blocked coming back the other way.
Can Buford do something quick?
Justin Edwards won't count, but it looks like they're calling steps.
And John, there's some things that are going right for Buford, but all the things are going right for Morgan County.
Jalen Ingram will inbound Isaac now out of the guard, 1.3 looks like a catch and shoot situation.
There's your catch.
Too many passes.
Does it count?
No.
That's the only thing that went wrong for Chucky Brown in the first half 24 of Morgan County's 37 to Tookie Brown, 24 in 16 minutes.
Here's Raven Charlemagne Gibbons Coach, given your previous two meetings with Buford, are you surprised by the score right now?
We got a pretty good basketball team, but this game is not over by any stretch of the imagination.
So, you know, we played a great first half, but the game's definitely not over.
You know, we had a good lead on him the first time at our place and they came back.
So we don't think the game was over with at all.
Given that, what adjustments will we see coming into the second half?
We got to continue to do a better job on the big fella inside.
Our big guy drew two fouls in the first half.
That's part of their game plan.
We got to do a better job of protecting our guys down the side.
All right, Coach.
Well, good luck.
I will.
Thanks a lot.
All right.
Over to you, Mark and Claire, thanks very much.
You know, both these teams are red hot.
Buford has 120 in a row, Morgan County 15 in the last 16.
So we'll see what happens in the second half.
Wow.
Wow.

Areas of the field that are growing include cutting edge trades like robotics and industrial design.
It takes training and technical skills, but these jobs are available and you can literally build your own career.
That's why industrial technology is our career play of the game.

All right.

They do, and they also have the most socially media savvy.
I guess Jeff Hunter just tweeted me and said, Would you guys replay those dunks?
I think we might be able to make that happen.
Jeff, stay tuned because we're going to have the second half of this game plus some first half highlights coming your way live here from Macon on GPB welcome back Macon Coliseum Macon center plex and we bypass the first half highlights because nothing happened Jared yell bell from Grant Bell South Carolina has tweeted me and he is calling GPB sports the network of dunks that dark Knight dunks do we see any dance do we see any excitement?
First half was special.
We had our moments.
Let's see what happened in the first half.
Dunk, dunk, dunk.
And then it's to keep juice.
I mean, just finish it.
All right.
Down low.
There's your pound is your pick pocket.
Tookie hit the penthouse on that one There's your thumper by Turman and Beasley sequence done three dunks back to back possessions in a36 the alley oop dunk special love that kid there's Tookie following his own shot That's huge.
You know Tookie is sweet I mean the young man is playing so much out of his mind.
He's put this whole team, this game on his back the first half.
So he's doing a great job.
Send it over to Raven quickly.
What Coach White Hart, get up and maybe hopefully win this thing.
We just got to do what we do.
We didn't do anything that we've done all year.
In the first half.
We did everything.
It was not us.
And I feel like if we can just start executing and doing what's got us here, we'll be okay.
What's the game plan to contain?
Number one, you know, he's a good player.
What we've got to do is just really step up and hedge him and make sure he's not comfortable.
I got your good luck.
Thank you.
All right, back over to John.
Okay.
Let's take a look at our first half stats produced by our friends at Farm Bureau Georgia Stats, courtesy of our friends at West Georgia Technical College.
What stands out?
Turnovers 14 to 4 a Buford.
Yeah, they're winning.
They went on the turnover more portion of the game and what's happened John off of those turnovers Morgan County 17 points so you can't give up easy baskets off your turnovers in transition 16 of 31 to keep brown ten of 17 in the first half.
So if you take out to see the rest of the squad 6 to 14, so 5050 either way we're having Turman back in the paint.
John gives Tokyo's presence and the sense of man to put pressure on the ball, extend his pressure.
That's why he's creating havoc on the point guards up top there for for Buford.
So this second half is important.
If you if you Buford control the game, no turnovers If you had Morgan continue to play.
Well, the crowd is a factor.
Remember Buford trying to add that first ever boys basketball title to the mantel that is championships in Buford?
Whether it's football softball, one act, play girls hoops, Morgan County playing in their first state title game since 1990.
They lost to Mitchell Baker here, and they are 16 minutes away and a 19 point advantage from taking that first title back to Madison.
And I think everyone who is here from Madison and Morgan County can pretty much create a human chain where none of the players will hit the ground between Macon and Madison should they win with John.
These first 2 minutes of this quarter, John would tell the mindset of Buford coming out of halftime.
McMorris Keeton Gibson, DeMarcus Simons for Team Lubin inside no good stick back up and in Payton Gibson Well they said they're going to go to their bread and butter down low get it to the big fella nice followed by his teammates First two points of the half by Buford and see how Buford turns it up defensively.
Montgomery Band border starting to bond Gibbs loosely Jalen Ingram bounce inside determined can't do anything with it no drive bounce pass inside up no good Turman follows up and in Hey great young man he knows how to seek the basketball He was able to go over the back without the foul and finish with a nice touch off the rebound and back to 19 Simons off the pick Ben border three short term on the rebound will hand to Gibson they'll bring it back up the floor.
It has to be careful that this doesn't get more out of control as they try to work their way back in well over a minute to gone here in the third is Rogers Ingram Gibbs thought about will do it rim no moving uncontested again letting the rhythm of the game come to both teams John is important especially if you abuse it.
You want to give up momentum too.
Morgan and Morgan don't want to lose momentum to be free any way possible.
Matt McMorris is saying that the ball got tipped out of bounds, didn't get the call.
So it's a turnover.
Morgan County, Let's take a look.
Yeah, right up his pocket is right up his fingertips.
And those are the turnovers.
John, That might be very hard, but it's even more when you're down 19 Chuckie Brown drive Tomahawk by Lubin knocked out of bounds Montgomery game's over had it hit the deck and it's going to stay Morgan County take a look what happened underneath the lot of bodies just took he doing his best getting the rim great blocked by the big fella down low but you've got to continue to play the game Just don't stop when there's a turnover.
That's all it took He did throwing it off and border having it knocked out of bounds to keep possession 2 minutes in to catch short Simons trying to come out with it WHISTLE and now is it on Turman or is it on Joseph Rodgers and John Rodgers That's his second.
You see, John, both teams that try to come out here and set the example with the offense.
Morgan County set the tempo with the defense earlier and if you abuse it, you've got trying to score them.
You're trying to create something special.
But when you go into the paint, John, you got a big fella like Turman, it's hard to get something done.
Montgomery Van Gorder trying to come in up the middle on the draw play, met at the line of scrimmage that junk coach Gibbons called Turman probably the biggest and best threat in Georgia high school throughout the state turnover Buford Ingram pull it back out thought about Turman gives it to him off the glass He just threw it up there to try to see if something would happen and through the foul go to the line.
And that was off of the turnover.
John again those turnovers it.
Buford they're creating is giving Morgan a chance to get out here and scoring transition.
Transition basketball has been the bread and butter to Morgan's success here going into the third quarter.
It's a third foul on Montgomery Van Gorder.
Taylor Mills set to check in first free throw and out, taking the lumps at the line by two key browns.
Look for little pressure coming from Morgan County.
Try to turn up the heat just a little bit.
Second free throw.
Got it to Brown with 25 of Morgan County's 40 lead his double at 4220 Simons driving on Turman high off the window and in Logan County quickly Ingram Gibbs Ingram's jumper got it Nice stroke nice stroke young man has a bright future only a sophomore.
John showed his athletic ability not showing his touch.
Morgan County will trade baskets the rest of the night because 30 plus 23 minutes into the second half, he's just going to have to make some stops.
Like Morris three No slips got the rebound and they're going to call it on Gibson or are they going to call it on to Marcus Simons, call on Gibson.
CHEERING Gibson picked up his third foul, so Morgan County will bring it up uncontested.
Seven Gibbs set the offense for the Warriors.
BROWN Ingram thought about the three pull up at the elbow give the Gibson the corner three Got it Yes great basketball Morgan down and now John starting to get their rhythm throughout the game we could see some blood starting to come from the it Gibbs ball in the region in as he starts if you look here just great penetration under control great pass nice stroke for the three now Morgan showing they can do it in the half court and the offensive set steps tall on the way back gives a turnover inside Turman now he's picked up by Lou then double team down to key Brown guarded by Gibson crossover on Simons finds some room hack and that's four on Gibson if it's on him and John if there are any doubters that he's the number one point guard junior in the state then they need to watch this game in its entirety.
Nick Morris had him first, Gibson had him second.
They call the foul on Keenan Gibson.
It's his fourth free throw.
No good Isaac now two checking in for Keenan Gibson.
So once again you four going big down low now to 65 to 55.
The came within six 8 to 50 Cookie Brown now with 26 it is a 2 to 1 press.
And that was a sign of frustration, John.
A sign of frustration when his not getting the ball.
He's going to jack it from the 350 trying to pass to Gibson The corner intercepted Gibbs coming back on defense quickly dipsy do under the underside of the rim out of bounds and it's going back the other way 340 three third quarter Morgan County extending their two touchdown lead it is 46 to 22 as we decide the class boys championship.
We'll have more on the great GPB in a sec.
All welcome back Macon Coliseum 343 for the third Morgan County doubling up Buford 46 to 22.
And the elevator has hit the penthouse a lot in this game.
Well, I'll give this a ten.
I give this a seven and get that a seven.
I get that a seven.
I get that.
It's winning.
I mean, three, 16.
Lou, don't.
Come on.
You got to give him double.
He did a 360 added he did the alley oop and reverse dunked it so you got to give him 10 to 4 times to creativity elevation and you know just the finish and going to Tennessee the Georgia high school all star to All-Region player and I got a bone to pick with you how does someone 510 dunk a basketball and you only give him a seven not that much force.
Wasn't that creative creativity?
Now he's playing well.
He's playing as a team where two halves come into play.
He's playing is a tangent, but I can make plays as a ten.
He dunks as a seven because he's five.
Well, Jackson wasn't too much creativity authority on the dunk.
Trust me.
I know.
Hey, if I was yes Kevin Barnes as a Russian judge gave me an 8.5.
I agree with that assessment.
Yes.
As someone who knows what it's like to dunk and be dunked upon to brown and rimmed out the three turn it up high.
No.
Two, he's going to get the rebound.
Come underneath, drive on.
Lubin deflected looking will come out with it Turman behind him Lubin looking to jump and walk the floor They're going to call a whistle instead of a carry rave in Toronto.
A the Buford bench.
And I was listening to Coach talk to his guys and he said, Guys, this thing is not over yet.
You need to play as a team.
He says, Look at the big guy, Number 14.
You haven't given it to him yet.
He's out in the post waiting for you to look at him.
Give him the ball.
You guards keep shooting.
Come on, get it together.
He had me pumped up there.
Guys, back to you.
John Raven, Toronto.
Ready to run through a wall for Buford.
No foul on the Warriors.
Brown.
Now, the thought about it.
Top of the circle picked up by Ingram Nice right hand up and in much needed basket here John and going into the bottom half of the quarter as we saw in the girls game big leaves have disappeared.
Buford was up by 14 and it disappeared halfway through the second competitive second and third quarter.
Thanks for a great championship game On the girls side, Ingram misses the three Luken with the rebound stares at both of Morris and Simons and he'll bring it up the floor himself and if Buford scores in this possession John Morgan County to call a timeout with some strategy so they can finish out the contest but very purposeful right now by Morgan County put it in the hands of Tiffany Brown started by DeMarcus Simons glorious Brown Jaylen Ingram.
She's determined to run the offense, get time off the clock illegal screen on Morgan County.
So we'll come back the other way with it.
I see a lot of times John, you can cook with good action.
It's just as good as a screen when you're trying to take time off the clock zone.
You don't need screens because that's exactly happens.
That's a foul plus a turnover and now the ball going in the other direction.
Coming up on 2 minutes for the third, Isaac now loses the handle to Brown with TJ Starks and another thumper from tech That was a that was an eight John he had Luther with him that was that was a building anticipation was it that was like eight.
I'd give him that one way out of bounds.
DeMarcus Simons throws it out, goes to Morgan County.
Yeah.
He's got hands.
my gosh.
He will rob a policeman.
Nice finish young man.
Nice finish.
Now they lost the handle.
Tuki came down with it and visited the penthouse one more time.
And see, that's a little bit better thought too, than the first dunk.
So we go from a79 to an 8/3 quarter field goal numbers.
Buford, two of eight, Morgan County three of seven.
There's four points off turnovers.
That's a huge now that was $1,000,000 move and the million dollar finish 20 to 6.
The turnover numbers produce a long three attempts.
BLOCK Morgan County has all the momentum intercepted again.
LUBELL Try it and hit nice stroke by the big fella.
Sometimes he's got to take advantage of what's given to him because he can shoot the three he pulled up and knocked it.
Coming up on a minute to go third quarter class triple A title game and a foul.
Looks like they're going to call it on Justin Edwards.
Chicago.
It'll be Justin Edwards first Montgomery bag order checking back in, replacing DeMarcus Simmons.
You got a timeout.
Call.
Looks like it's going to be a 30.

What's Ellen White Hart telling the guys right now?
Down 23.
Just guys, stay positive.
Make the easy play.
We're not going to come back in this game.
Hitting home runs.
We've got to be simple, but we cannot turn the ball over and give them easy baskets as well to keep brown.
Guarded by Edwards.
Morgan now has started that two league game, which is wise.
Instead of coming in, jacking up shots, just get some time off the clock.
Going to the fourth quarter.
T.J. Starks amendment.
MORRIS back into the hands of Jackie Brown, still guarded by Justin Edwards Looped pass past 25 seconds to go for the third.
Morris Brown, caught in front of his own bench, finds T.J. Starks back to Tookey, down to 15.
Justin Edwards tough up on the front around the Turman screen, thought about the three down to seven behind the back dribble up high.
Got it.
He's so special.
He's so special.
Yeah, He's so special.
So special.
So special.
Suki Brown with 32 of Morgan County's 52.
And here's how the quarter ended with emphasis.
25 point advantage for Morgan County as they're that close to their first ever state title in the great GPB.
Welcome back Macon Coliseum Macon Center Flex Morgan County 52 to keep Brown 32.
Buford 27, start of the fourth.
Do you want to talk about someone who's the MVP of the weekend?
It's for white.
There's the one that you only gave him a seven on.
Gave him a seven.
John gave him a seven.
You're right.
All his own shot there, which was big early on.
But in the paint.
But he's such a tough nosed, hard nosed kid that pull up.
my gosh.
And right here, John, I gave him an eight and here's how he ended the third, but I gave him a ten on the move.
Fair enough to keep Brown's 32 and six as we head to the final 8 minutes, 11 in the first quarter, 24 at the half eight in the third quarter with the basketball now Morgan County is that close to that first ever first ever.
Ingram Elbow Got it.
And you talk about this entire team, John, the entire package that Morgan County has on the floor, there's another young man a nice sophomore Ingram six five forward he's going to go into something special as will he and Tookie coming back with a chance to be in this position next year.
Again Morgan County on the double 40 seconds in a 5427 Morgan County, not letting anything into the paint, not letting it even get loose until right there.
That's like a lot of effort to get him that way.
Yeah, a lot of effort.
John And looping I'll lose behalf can give him good credit for breaking that trap down low and finish a dunk with some authority.
T.J. Starks guarded by Justin Edwards looking inside to Jalen Ingram and his looming stuff, keeping that pivot foot with the trap.
Nice finish.
That's a strong young man.
He's going to have a great in the upcoming years as a UConn husky thumper with the flex I'm going to have some fun with him up in stores like Morris got the free so that's when you're left alone on the outside.
Well, that's the confidence that Buford was hoping they would play with to start the game.
But the turnovers put them at a huge deficit to keep Brown 34 Buford 32 Time out by Allen wide heart there Justin Edwards hit the three We're talking about a lot of signature programs here on GPB being one of them is Georgia Traveler.
This season, the Traveler crew takes you to some of the scenic getaways, embark on a few high adrenaline adventures.
Just get David Belsky, a GoPro and a zip line.
He's going to go and of course, dive into some of the best restaurants the Peach State has to offer, and it's food they never share with the rest of us.
All that and much, much more don't miss Georgia Traveler on the great GPB food finds and there are definitely some in central Georgia definitely Madison has their share You want to talk about this domination.
We've seen it in this game so far.
Even talk about domination, John and you could talk about fear.
Maybe a harsh word to use for Buford.
But at the same time, when you see the amount of turnovers that they've basically given the ball away, there may have been some fear, some intimidation coming into this game tonight.
Margins at 21 at 56 to 35.
So let's see what Buford can do here.
He could sit those three pointers that they've hit the fourth quarter, five for 14 in the game.
So here's the diamond Chris Turman hit by Lubin.
And when you go to press legs on Chris Hughes, the mindset when it comes to breaking the press, there's a guard.
You look up the sideline, you look up the middle.
But those two open, you reversed the ball with the same mindset.
But if you can get the ball to the middle, Chris, you break it right there with affection for his free throw good by Turman just looking at his presence.
John's such a strong presence with his body, with this girth, with his ability to score.
He's been a key factor in tonight's game.
Devon Gibbs right at the bottom of it and up and in almost rimmed out.
I thought that was a body that was going to go for the Warriors.
BROWN It did not.
BUFORD Coming back the other way with it, spot a three.
Justin Edwards in front, No.
Sookie Brown calming it down.
And this was on Cookie's behalf.
You got a two point lead.
John It's not about outscoring Buford.
It's about running the clock out.
Still.
D Smith, Four Corners, five and a half to go in regulation.
Ingram getting swatted out by DeMarcus Simons trying to get a stop blocking any stop there and they wanted to do something fancy with Turman but it didn't happen and that was an innocent mistake by the young man wanted to throw the ball it for the lob.
I'm sure he'll make up for that one here some time soon.
Simons Into the corner jumper off the back of the rim.
No good back comes Jalen Ingram looking for a turn jam And I told you he's going to make up for it soon.
Nice rebound Nice push pass into the paint Nothing happening back comes the various brown he'll slow it down to key Brown looking inside for Ingram knocked away back comes Buford Simons on Gibbs doesn't get the role it's been that kind of a night for Buford Yeah the lead close on the basket John but you got to give credit what Morgan County's doing they controlling the tempo of the game in looking right now for a timeout to come up real soon to control them back a little bit passes a little fluffing and since we are the network of dunks excuse me if I kiss the sky.
Jay love me.
He just got up and wham and nice kiss on the cheek to the clouds.
But one more angle and a block at the other end, Lubin hit the deck hard.
I'm telling those and goes to the young man's on that is a collision when it's Lubin and Turman that is two strains look at that here's your look Turman up Lubin up.
Wow that's a joust ever there was one and they're going to call an intentional foul here on Ingram on the back side of the action watch the back side of the action watch Jalen Ingram right there.
Yeah and I don't know if that was intentionally done John but the result of hitting his head on the hardwood again with the frustration being down playing for even free throw missed a second and you can tell how the wolves are reacting even with the free throws.
They're just body language not looking up to par, realizing that this game is pretty much out of reach.
Double double for a team moving, looking for the alley oop off the inbounds.
Can't get the right hand to fall Dubon bond.
Gibbs will bring it down halfway home in the fourth Morgan County, up 24, behind an incredible exhibition by Tookie Brown, Junior guard for Morgan County for white.
We're going to hear a lot about him in the next couple of days.
You're going to hear a lot about him next basketball season.
Right now, he says he's going to Starkville.
I would challenge that after this performance tonight.
Well, I'm sure of that phone down in Buford County is going to be ringing next week.
John, who is this young man?
How does he do it now?
Are his grades, how is his character?
All those questions are going to come out because he is going to be the top point guard in state, not paying attention on the inbounds pass.
An easy two for Jalen Ingram.
Buford defensively thought he was going to go along with it.
He went short.
Jalen Ingram was open for the easy bucket 6135 now Miss again by Buford Morgan County you'll take their time Long pass Ingram Louvin finally over Lake easy to retirement and you got to call a timeout for you to call a timeout just to control the game Don't let it get out of hand getting in respectably for the wolves who's gotten here to the state championship seven over one from Morgan County.
And that's a stop right there by Matt McMorris an Allen wide hard to call time and really not much John you can say but just guys to continue this 2 minutes and 54 seconds pay with respect finish out with honor guys had a great season, but we're going to finish out this game.
John Playing hard, but not allowing the game to get out of control.
We talked about it to keep Brown's performance today.
Right now, he's trailing Buford by three on his own 34 points, which Charlemagne given saying right, Just be smart.
You got to get it.
3 minutes.
Exactly.
You got to be smart.
When we play this number one win with class, you've got the entire county here from Madison.
Win with class.
No.
So showboating.
It's about getting the win in the championship instead of the style that you may want to create.
And down on the lute, Jalen Ingram coming down, drives into the paint, brings it back out for Tookey Brown DeMarcus Simons with the swipe You don't call it a ball they're going to let him play for the next two and a half minutes.
Simon Still chasing now they whistle at 233.
You've mentioned it before, Morgan County first state title game since 1991.
DeMarcus Simons, his third, Buford was here last year.
Back this year, Allen White Hart coming over from Centennial to build the program and John getting here back to back.
It's not an easy feat but the night has belonged to two missed.
The free throw is one of the few things that's gone wrong for him tonight.
34 points inside the rookie moving off the glass too hard.
McMorris Looking back, Montgomery Van Gorder thought about it.
Justin Edwards Hot Springs three missed but got the roll.
But down back on the other side.
Showtime.
And you can just see the Morgan County fans being very appreciative and entertained all night long, as have we here.
On being love giving you the basketball in the football championship.
Fallon McMorris is Devon Gibbs went five for Turman has seven in the fourth.
And guess what this is?
Are you not entertained?
Yes, we are.
And another look from the underside.
I think some of our videographers need hazard pay in some situations like this because of the authority that Morgan County has exuded.
But he has so much of a presence as he continues to get better with his basketball skills, John.
It's not about his presence physically now, how can he get better mentally and grow?
He's going to be special at the next level.
Davon Gibbs missed the free throw.
6542 Lubin drop step foul by Turman on the inside.
That'll be his fourth and that might be the end of it for Turman just because if he stays in he will be as far away from the action as humanly possible.
Thank you.
You can see how the rules are ready.
Congratulate Morgan County.
Some players on the floor out respect.
And that's absolutely just, you know, good quality and character basketball.
No one wants to get hurt in the state championship game.
You know, you got to lose that.
You're down by 23 points for the minute and 42 to go.
Ruben with 11 rims out just his last three free throws.
Even though you lost the game, I think that his competitive mindset, he still needs to be focused on making these free throws.
John That's it for the Warriors.
Brown He's out for the rest of the night.
And Montgomery gains water out, finishing his senior athletic career at Buford, part of the state championship football team.
As part of getting it to a basketball championship.
Demaryius Brown Finishing with three points, getting congratulations on the Morgan County bench.
Second free throw is good, Ruben.
Now with 12, here's Van Gorder.
Football influence across the board.
Nance Lake showed up here in basketball White heart not ready to bring the bench in including van border again Chucky Brown fouled by Matt McMorris That'll be McMorris his third with 124 to go his third end zone.
I'm sitting over here thinking about these two teams have gone head to head twice this season and they split it The you look at the score it's 20 point game.
Obviously, Morgan County had to mature throughout the season to get to this point and that's a credit to the coaching staff for what they've done.
Coach Gibbons realized what he had to he had to put them in the right mindset to prepare to win the state championship.
And we're talking about Gibbons.
His dad was a history teacher and was a history major, so he certainly is a child of history and learn from those last two games for tonight.
Timko Brown's free throw is good.
He now has 35.
There's going to be some bench emptying here for Buford.
Edwards is in Van Gorder is in next.
Mango another senior is in also second free throw good as well and that'll do it.
And it's cookie time.
Congratulations, young man.
You are the top point guard in the state of Georgia.
Continue to play well, continue to stay in the classroom.
And that's important.
Young kids, listen, you're out there, your high school basketball player, a high school athlete.
I understand it's not just about the books it's not just about your character.
It's more than just basketball.
It's about your books, your catches, All the above.
Lubin missed on the three.
Edwards the mango.
Try to get the score but doesn't happen.
Rebound by Davon Gibbs as we come up on a minute Tough defense by Buford Put him at the fresh bodies and a foul by Matt McMorris That'll be his force to stop the clock Brown by quarter 1324 at the break, he had eight in the third and four in the fourth, and it was a 4 to 2 key tonight on the floor of the Macon Coliseum.
There they are, 36, seven, six and five.
And maybe if you're from Madison, you play that in some kind of a lottery.
You know, if you're Madison, you go out and buy a red shirt and put a white lettuce of turkey on it and sell it, because what he did, he's trading history there for this Morgan County High School, White Hart now empties the bench for Buford Bank to the senior, goes to Mango, the senior goes McMorris, The senior goes blue, then the senior goes.
And John, definitely kudos Stephanie.
Kudos to Morgan County and everybody support, the surrounding neighborhoods, the surrounding high schools, everyone supported this team.
John in the road to get here, C.J turman finally done and just to talk about the performance we do it all for the turkey.
He's training on twitter right now.
Hey pat as he should be.
Why not with the name like turkey turkey brown on the minute I'm going to hear that name a lot C.J Turman out at 13 in the second half he finishes with 15 a serenade by the folks from Madison our 4 to 40 seconds and young man, you deserve that towel around the neck and you're going to deserve what happens in the next 35 seconds.
Quick.
Morgan County, you always remember where you were the first time something was accomplished and it's safe to say that most of Madison was in Macon the first time that the Boys Bulldogs got a state championship dominating performance by Chuckie Brown.
The Bulldogs will come back next year just as hungry.
First time ever, Morgan County, sometimes older.
You just run out of superlatives and you run out of words.
John, you've hit the nail on the head and there's not much more we can say about what more can they did tonight.
They came.
They play with poise, they play with energy, they play with passion.
And more importantly, they play hard and smart together.
All those things will part of the formula for them winning the state championship and a lot of Morgan County's going to be coming back.
And Raven is with talking.
All right.
So he came off the bench at the end of that game, didn't even crack a smile.
What was going through your head when you came out?
What came out the floor?
I smile smart because I know how hard work how hard work pays off.
And I just find these guys and I just laugh.
Where is that going?
And his winning run.
I have to.
I lost count to be in there, but I'm pretty sure it was 35 plus points.
How would you rate your performance out of your whole career?
I say great last game.
Yeah, I say great.
What do you say?
You're one of the best point guards in the state of Georgia.
Yes, ma'am.
I work hard.
I think I deserve to be the best.
What do I say to Georgia?
Don't make me feel old.
I'm not a ma'am.
Yeah.
Come now.
Hey, congratulations.
Enjoy the win.
Back over to you guys.
Yes, ma'am.
36 point performance by Chuckie Brown.
36, seven, six, and five by number four.

Welcome back to the Macon Coliseum.
We have a huge game just ahead.
The Lady Indians of McEachern, they were here in 2012.
They won the state title then.
They are going to try to win that again tonight in the girls six eight final against the Tigers of Archer.
We're going to have a lot more on that game coming up.
But first, we have been telling you the last couple of minutes that Soupy Brown is trending on Twitter.
We also just got a tweet that says GPB hashtag the network for Dunks.
Grace Fame is standing by with a little bit more about what people are talking about and graced the network for dunk Sounds right about right It it does sound right I mean it was he was unmistakable his performance in the you know as this game kept going on and I looked at on Twitter and he's been trending the second of the game at least everyone is tweeting about Tookie Brown.
My mom even tweeted me and said Tookie took it.
So everyone is extremely excited.
And Morgan County, I mean, they brought the fans here tonight.
They've been loud.
They've been crazy.
It's been hard to hear.
Give me a headache out here.
But it is a ton of fun and we've got a big one coming up with McEachern and Archer.
And the tweets are already rolling in.

And so joining us, none other than Mama Carmen and the man himself trending on Twitter.
And to see, I tell you, is one of the greatest performances I've ever seen in GHC boys basketball history.
Talk a little bit about you got into a flow early and you couldn't miss.
You were dunking, hitting three pointers.
You're all over the place.
I mean, the others are starting a rhythm in the game and I tried to find my shot.
If I can find my shot.
Is that a basket?
If I'm leader now coming out of the court, you got a standing ovation.
The fans were standing pretty much the whole night.
But what did that feel like to have all these people here standing behind you?
it's so good, though.
Behind us is basketball season started And then we had some fresh ideas that were that were there for us.
It is now.
You're just a junior and I know the name Cookie Brown going to become very familiar throughout the state and the next year.
So how did you get that nickname, Pookie?
My grandmother gave it to me.
I don't know where she came from, but she gave me the name too.
And I love that.
I wonder when she gave it to you if she knew you blow up on Twitter and everything else.
I just have to tell you, we just had to hashtag to keep brown, keep it trending.
What does that feel like to be trending on Twitter?
It feels good.
It's showing that I'm working hard and I like what I'm doing.
Are you on Twitter as well?
You are.
I think you're going to get a few more followers tonight.
What do you think about that?
Yes, I still have something to check out on the way home anyways.
Talk a little about this game for just a second.
You guys got off to a big start and really just took control of the game right from the get go.
We just don't love words right now, but we just only know what to say right now.
You can go home and you can tweet it out and take it out and everything else.
But you played a fantastic game.
You and your teammates really played very well.
Again, graduations are the first championship in more than county history.
Thank you.
All right.
Suki Brown right there.
Great game.
One of the best that we'll see or maybe see in a long, long.
