Live from the Macon Coliseum in Macon, Georgia.
It's a 2005 to say boys basketball championship.
The triple-A finale featuring the Trump Tigers and the Dunwoody Wildcats.
And welcome, everybody.
As championship weekend rolls on here on GPB, ten games have already been completed.
One game left.
And this is going to be a dandy.
The Wildcats come in at a region five the Tigers out of region two, the two guys to call it courtside, Charlie Ward and Herb Wyatt.
Thanks Jimmy and a dandy it will be.
Welcome everybody to courtside.
Charles Ward, Herb White Gerald all a very hot sideline in a few moments.
Herb This one's going to be a good one.
Jim alluded to it already.
One team runs because it can.
The other one runs because it has to.
Let's talk about the team that has to run the basketball up and down the floor.
The tigers of true high school that there you see Tristan Delaney for true high school at 14.0 and 2.7.
You're right, Charles.
They got a couple of guys.
They listed six five.
I think that's being generous.
They don't really have anybody over about six, three, six, four.
I don't think so.
They rely on teams, speed and just team play and they'll get after it the whole game.
So watch for another up paced game.
We've had them all all weekend and then we have us take a look at the starting lineup for the Tigers Bruce at the forward Delaney at the other Bumbry the center Tucker and Billingsley out front for the Tiger offense, I guess of course coached by Thurman Billingsley, their head coach.
And tonight with the Tigers, a true get on this floor, they'll be beating a team in the Wildcats of Dunwoody who have just put on a great performance all season long are well you're right they've got a superstar and in one wilderness one of the best start of juniors in the country.
And they also have a great team and while wilderness at double double as you see there and he also is very quick he can steal the ball and he'll find you if you open so and one wilderness a great player but he's got a lot of help on this Dunwoody team.
Chris Thomas and the rest of those starters are all fine players and they like to play up tempo, even though they could pack it inside.
Starting lineup for the Wildcats.
Easterling One of the forwards will do this.
The other Thomas at the guard spot.
Lindsey joins him in the backcourt, as does Jordan.
But as you indicated the Wildcats a very balanced team and they're really their forte is offensive rebounding so we'll see how that plays into it that stretch when you talk about that team, that's the characteristic that's come out most in terms of comments about that.
They do a great job offensively on the boards.
Yeah 11 down one to go and let's have a barnburner as they used to say Scott Bronco of course the head coach for the Wildcats of Dunwoody High School or ten down I guess down in the wheelchair championship that we brought to you.
Let's go to the P.A.. ANNOUNCER now for the starting lineup is being introduced here to make them Coliseum Ford and the Dunwoody Wildcats with a record of 25 and five dressed in white as your home team.
Yeah.
Have your attention for the starting lineup.
First for True at forward number 15, a five foot ten senior Kristen Delaney.
At forward number 20 to a six foot three senior, Tobias, who's at center number four, a six foot two senior Apollo crew at guard number ten, a six foot senior, John Tucker.
At guard number three, a five foot ten sophomore resident of Billingsley, and head coach Furman, filling through.
And now for Dunwoody at forward number 12, a six foot six junior.
Alex, he's at forward number 21, a six foot six junior and will head guard number 31, a six foot three senior.
Chris off at guard number three, a five foot ten junior.
Wesley McPhee has gone number one in five foot ten Junior here, Jordan and Dunwoody head coach Scott Bracco and starting lineups have been introduced here at the Macomb Coliseum, will get set for the three eight championship tipoff when we come back Back live at the Mecum Coliseum, getting set to start the three day championship before we do that.
Let's go courtside.
Gerald.
Olive.
Eric, Eric.
Thanks a lot, Charles.
This is going to be a very entertaining game.
Both teams like to play a fast paced type of offense.
We talked to Coach Bracco before the game and he says he thinks his team is peaking, due in large part to their offensive rebounding in their defense.
Now, on the other side, for True, it's been a very special season.
Coach Billingsley, his wife passed away recently and they actually dedicated the entire season to her.
And if you look closely on their jersey, they have a patch right over the heart on the left side, and there's the initials FB on that patch.
And so this is a very special game for them and season for them as well.
Back to you, George.
Thank you, Gerald.
Getting set to start the three match up Tigers of Truth and the Wildcats of Dunwoody High.
Well, key to the true team is going to be how well they can keep Dunwoody off the offensive boards, that's for sure.
Giving up quite a bit of size.
And Dunwoody, a great offensive rebounding team.
Officials for tonight's ball game are coach Willie Crosby, Jeff Beck, Nipper, Mark Couch was actually the son of my high school coach, Roger Couch, the three years at Decatur.
He was a great coach and Mark said he might be sleeping, but he needs to get up and watch his ball game with his son out there.
Is there anybody in this state you don't know?
After the opening taps controlled by the Tigers, a true tucker will work at the top of the key early man to man showed by the Wildcats left slight breeze as it works toward the senator got the lead and draws the foul turn and move there down the baseline took the contact made the bucket with shoot one right now he's a senior guard.
This is on the free throw rebounds controlled by the Wildcats.
Gilbert is at the top let's see left side now for the quarter to Thomas now they get it to wilderness shots short but he will go to the line.
Walton is one of those players he can play on the outside on the perimeter, handle the ball, shoot the jump shot and you just saw there nice strong moves inside.
He's an impressive looking athlete.
First from the larger world of this, he missed 70% free throw shooter on the year.
This is his first year, not the second.
I guess it's true that only one loss of the season that win came in the region, having to walk it inside the paint double with the shot.
But it's off the mark rebounds controlled by that's an upside wilderness jumper and he's off the mark The lady clears that errant shot Tucker Taylor treats kicks in the corner The lady had a good look couldn't put the three down right side.
Now it's Jordan Jordan behind the back.
Pass the wilderness several shots off it.
Teams cold at the moment.
Basketball stays with the Wildcats off the floor they go to Thomas raises the three shot is short rebounds clear by Easton to go look at it they run this time they get it inside to Thomas for the lay in that's what Coach Billingsley does not want to see its second shot in that score.
We talked about it at the outset that the Wildcats are a great offensive rebounding team.
Just saw their we saw one in our earlier game with East tall Charles really unbelievable offensive rebound and teammate just dunking and that's the easiest way right up top with the basketball Bruce working the left side the legacy the rebels of the quarter now the lady on the move nice move on the right side he got it to fall but just that quickly the Wildcats coming back to the other way.
This is all the way and with Jordan and we got a foul over the back.
I'm done with it.
Chris Thomas guilty of a foul as we take a look at the replay, this foul occurs because Jordan misses that free throw.
that lay.
I think Jordan heard footsteps behind him, kind of glanced back and he was too far into the basket on his release after that.
Down here.
Before that, go on the drive to the basket.
Nice play.
He hit it behind his back.
I'm trying to remember who it was now.
I think he lost control of the ball, regained it, laid it in.
It goes by so quickly.
I know her.
It doesn't make Tucker up top.
He's working, right?
Softball raises it to get the shot blocked.
Nicely done by Andre Bryant.
The basketball comes back to the Tigers penetrating his body, kicks it over right side with the lay.
It is tougher for the tigers had to hang in the air.
He was intimidated but he got it up off the glass and got it.
Pass wilderness Tigers.
Not much hype, but they're very quick ball cats working at it.
They are on the floor inside basketball.
So we saw the floor scramble for blue in the wilderness.
Good adds to the rock shuffle off.
But he was fouled 101st 15 seconds.
But you see the scramble and wilderness will take it to the hoop Hollow.
Bob Murray on the Foul Wilderness.
His physique puts me in a little bit of mind of James Forest, a former tech player.
Looked about like that in high school.
Very well-built square shoulders.
Yeah, that is correct.
So the second pressure by the Wildcats, Tigers break it easily.
The lady puts it down on the corner and fires a three.
Under that it found the right man there.
They didn't let the Wildcat defense get set.
Lindsey Powell was the rock top of the key right side Jordan raises with the three got the ball so they answer right back.
Here come the Tigers Now that's baseline the lady penetrates shots off well to this clears out that pass Betsy left flank pass take it away by the tigers They are so quick whistle just in front of the troop bench chuckles a timeout taken by coach Billingsley Tigers are quick and they play a man to man straight up nothing gambling they just very quick and they stay in front of him man Looks like Dunwoody is trying to set up a 1 to 2 press.
It's been hard to tell because the devil gets the ball up the floor so quickly.
So we'll take another look at that.
All that replay good square up here by Gary Jordan.
And he's about four feet down the high score line there.
He nods his head of approval troop with the basketball wildcat setting for full court pressure.
Now it looks like a 1 to 2 trap.
That's across the time line out of the corner, Threw it out of bounds.
So the Wildcats, with the press, they get a turnover rate.
Coach Dennis back from Cartersville says that this Dunwoody team is the best team that he's ever seen.
How could the better side weakness it there they get the turnover back to the Tigers bill as they stare down again.
Well they're going to have to prove it to this Trufant I can tell you that, Charles.
They come out with fire in their eyes.
I don't think they're going to take Coach Gottfried's word for Jordan across the timeline Truth with the early lead.
Exit it back out to Lindsey behind the arc for three ball chased down by the Tigers Billingsley arc across the force pass for another three just for the kids to punch other Brian rebounds for the Wildcats across the floor Jordan Nice pass inside the good recovery defense by Tucker they get him for the foul they got a lot of ball but he hit him pretty hard and that usually draws the official's attention.
First here a replay George what a nice look inside with a pass but Johnson cutting gets the foul to go to the line and Gary Jordan the junior guard to make the pass to Johnson says it though they have to do three things to win ballgames.
One they have to rebound.
Two, they have to get the points in the paint and they have to push the basketball up and down the floor.
If they do that, he says he don't think anybody can beat him.
Well, the fourth thing is they need to hold the other team to this point type of factor for this of Herb White Bay Tigers background, they're going to have to basketball this simple game just got waiting a straight man to man now to show in his own trap in the tapped out of bounds that size is going to give Troup a little trouble when they're down in the half court set trying to shoot over those long arms Little boy Rocco fifth year Dunwoody on the move inside as deuce tapped away.
But it comes clear to the lady baby tonight he shot his rejected as well Walk a good side Tough work by Darius Johnson for the Wildcats Excellent with the basketball George quickly left side running jumper Is it good for the Wildcats.
That's a tough shot Drifting towards the basket, being able to pull up and drain it.
hey Glass.
The time line is.
The lady left side drew the trap in the corner.
Now works it back out the bill as he fires a he gets.
He got it.
Now, that's going to be big for truth.
They got to make some of those kind of bring Dinwiddie out of sagging alley for just a sophomore recruit but three big ones already from behind the arc Jordan tapped out front works at download of Johnson Johnson in traffic He's fouled well true close is fast and they make you pay for it It's a clean play because he's up high with the offensive player but hammered him pretty good.
Let's take a look at it again we'll look at the three pointer for take a look at the blocks on the defensive end by the Wildcats.
Tough going in there.
Yes, sir.
That's the point.
Scrambling to to chase down Johnson got the first down take takes a seat for the Wildcats What's shot this good on the floor as Darius Johnson the just sets for the second goal to this back out the coach Bronco or the Wildcats double what he already seven of eight from the line Howard who's going to be forced to foul inside because of his lack of size and whenever Denver has got in the low blocks and goes from he's got very little choice but to hack in the left side is double to across the floor it's taken away by the Wildcats up the floor comes back to the right side.
Now that's about to go up for the easy end by double what he's back on top.
pass.
Go out of bounds, Tucker Just trying to get it across the floor.
They have exactly what you talked about, Herb having to throw it a bit higher because of the height of the Wildcats.
The replay for the Wildcats basically does good spacing on the break.
They're all this.
Has it taken away, Bruce, across the time line and Bryant commits the foul in less than a minute remains of this first quarter three eight championship double what he was at the 1995 for a title and that was a year that they were undefeated left side way behind the the lady allows a three holds for the tigers and they continue with that Pacers been very accurate with the three so far they just tried to bounce it down low it's taken away by the Tigers three on one right side they welcome good defensive work by Bryant to reject the shot Jordan quickly back the other way Jordan right side left it there for Bryant couldn't finish zone over the back in my mind what a pace pass a replay here for Jordan inside and and it looks like they got Antoine wilderness four coming over the back there and one rover Miss excuse the T is out if there is one he'll see it 2 seconds off the buzzer.
The lady tried it, but it falls off.
So at the end of one, it's the Tigers of True 18.
The Wildcats have done what?
He's 60.
Quick timeout.
We'll come back and we'll start the second We are back alive at the back of the coliseum some of the fans here at this three AA championship enjoying it thus far.
Tigers leading at 1816 over the Wildcats of Dunwoody Charles.
The Dunwoody Wildcats had a pretty easy road in here to the finals.
The closest game was 18 points against Flowery Branch and true, most of their wins were single digits, so they've been tested.
Johnson To see if it's a close game.
If that does affect Dunwoody, take a look at the field goals at this point.
Seven of the Tigers Dunwoody four of ten Wildcats with the basketball Betsy Pop of the team looked it over to Jordan up top they give it to Brian Lee with the jumper for 15 Missed it a couple of tigers up the floor is the lady right side Dunwoody good job to get him back out a little better Bailey Bailey gets the basket Shaun Bailey just came in the game a0064 in about what 245 350.
That's a lot of luggage busy over the world It spins through the glass.
Boy, was that nicely done by Rover.
There you saw some of his explosive talent right there.
Tigers towering into the corner.
Now back to Bailey at the block in this man.
He's got a second basket of the ball game making his presence felt immediately establish good position inside and he's got the body to do it.
Bryant top of the key on the leave it's mid-season he's missed it badly but the rebound comes very easily and there's just a little bit of put back but back up the floor goes Billingsley.
They get trouble he gets for the lay in but had it free and clear but he couldn't put it down.
That would have really negated the offensive rebound.
Coach Barnes literally the wince on his face now double wins after the missed layup George quickly behind the three that's all the shot rebound cleared by Tucker Alexander kicks it out of the quarter for the three it's Delaney off the back rib with two up to the quarter trickling out the block as Bryant whistle at the side shot Bailey's going to be guilty of the foul You take another look at it and not much doubt about this foul actually they called it on John Tucker and how they got back side a couple of the frontcourt players for Dunwoody after troops got the rebound and him down and tried to bother the rebounder and it's cost him there.
They're getting beat down the floor and they're going to have to watch that because Troup really gets it out in a hurry.
Michael Cofield, sophomore on the floor for the Tigers quiet, connected on the first free throw set for the second.
push off called on Folsom, just checked in before various Johnson back out for coach Scott Bronco the biggest play signals on the sideline Bryant departs.
They had brought it to wilderness into the glass and he got the layup off the floor.
Tigers give it to the lady.
The lady standing on the inbound line.
Basketball to the Wildcats.
Now they're looking for Delaney against that press, trying to get him open in the corner.
He's made several and missed his last one becomes Jordan quickly right side all the way through it Pick him up but he missed all the way and Bailey clears the air and shot Tucker right side with the pass Delaney Now at the block they go full pass shot up to the glass and got it to fall Nice touch by the big guy so far Tigers doing what they want The substitutions have come in and done a good job with it at the jumper back backside.
He missed it.
There's a flip back by Darius Johnson, the lady and the official wanted to make the call out here right in front of some.
They think he lost his whistle, did it, but he made the right play and not let the play go on.
He did make the call and it was the right one.
CAUFIELD At six five, really the only player that can match up with the Dunwoody size inside.
And he's going to take a seat as to the front of us tigers to about a basketball tucker up top gets the board handles left side the lead that's the three point shot short floater displays it right side it's Thomas basically the chasing by Thomas got it to fall Wildcats by three now Tucker went for the steal missed it gave up the layup Hughes out front fires a three got those just raised and fired on it here Chris Thomas getting his phase to Charles mid cross double in the paint left the short rebounds clear up the floor here they come they got a two on the back end with the lay it it was a hello bubble tigers replay Billy seesaw battle thus far George had a come from behind bushes at the mid strike have Jordan we talked about it a few minutes ago in the other game you make a mistake then you compound it by turning around and committing a foul right after that.
And Jordan chalks one up back on the floor as well.
Biloxi for the Tigers as the war takes a seat, Tucker lost a double out front, one to the right side, the bubble where he goes, Bruce with the jumper.
He got it again.
That's a two pointer, but a nice square up by the jumper is that's a very, very nice looking shot there.
That's the right side the wilderness.
Well that is Welcome to the block wants it back inside college for the walking around the Harvard step It's his getting pressure Tigers tie it up at the baseline foul called on Tobias Bruce the senior guard for the Tigers true playing some great defense and one wilderness down on the low block he had the size advantage Tucker was playing such good defense on his man all over he could make the pass into the blocked pass.
Thomas the senior to the line for the Wildcats.
Now reverse on the front end.
These baskets are a little softer than the ones at the Gwinnett Arena will give to a playstyles that way.
Thomas This season, 13 points, three rebounds.
Grant This is the second half by Bruce Truitt yet to go to the free throw line but what he of 12 just love affair to the floor Tucker out front right side to Bruce Birch trying to look for some kind of a mismatch somebody get a step on their man that's Bruce with the runner up to Senator Butler came out of there rebounds clear by Thomas but very guilty of the foul on Thomas He'll go back to the line for his second That's 18 fouls on troops in danger of putting down what he had into the bonus at ten fouls Of course you get two shots on every five.
They play so aggressively they challenge everything.
So the residue of that perhaps is putting their total on the line.
But when they haven't got the first one point lead for the Tigers.
GUARD But what are you picking up?
MAN Too bad out right side all the way through a contested with the left hand.
Nicely done by John Tucker Tucker with an explosive first step How of what he give it go back door.
But it's Tucker.
Tucker to put it out of bounds.
But it belongs to the Tigers.
Great.
So quick they got beat on the back door and yet he was able to recover.
Tremendous effort.
He also got some help from a couple of teammates.
Great first half here, 33, 30, a well-played first half.
There comes Tucker across to Tyler Tucker had a tap in stolen away by Jordan up the Florida wilderness after the hard basketball belongs to the Tigers.
Justin Delaney back on the floor for the Tigers true with just enough three point shooting in this ballgame to even out the offensive rebound advantage by Dunwoody so far and with their quickness they can keep it in those things.
It's going to be an interesting ballgame.
Right now.
The Tigers five of ten from behind the arc let's side the penetration as Bruce who's fouled by 57.
All of these players for the Tigers seem to be able to take that penetration right off the dribble in the beat demand Yeah done with it a little slow on the help they're allowing the troop guy when they beat that man and not getting there in time and getting fouled So a first trip to the free throw line first was no good but that's one result of the 50% three point shooting as you're out there guarding your man, afraid to drop off.
Look at the free throw situation.
This gets double Woody with 1140 11 of 14 already.
It's quite a discrepancy, especially the truth to have a four point lead.
It converts on the second Wildcats back the other way.
Hard move by Wilbur at the top through the foul Tobias Bruce chest to chest with Antoine Wheeler and as we went up for that shot so wilderness to the charity stripe thus far seven points three rebounds foul was called on Tobias Bruce that's his third eight.
That could be a problem.
Yeah, it's going to have to worry about that.
They've got a lot of team fouls spreading them around with that.
Third, Bruce departs Michael Caufield back on the floor for the Tigers, but he might be well advised to keep packing it down on the low block, try to get some folks in foul trouble.
Yeah.
Bill Harris back on the floor for the Tigers.
He replaces Todd Tucker.
Then what are you going to apply full court pressure really slow in traffic back the closer the floor left side of the lady double teamed in the corner now for the three rattles it without it pop out of there Tough break for the lady and the Tigers left sided traffic Caufield tries to save it throws it right over to Johnson Johnson's offense off the mark now the Tigers come back the other way and hold it for one here.
Maintain that lead going in at halftime.
Whiteside blitzes our top four lady Luck on the right side lost it momentarily It comes clear to Harris Harris kicks it to bubble number for three It's off the mark backside rebound Caufield He missed the foul ball down low had good possession of that time about well to the six I think of his wilderness picks up his second foul Tulsa convert so the first advantage of the season as he converts on the second medicine at the buzzer and that's a 3631 lead for the Tigers of Troup at the there they should over the Wildcats of Dunwoody High if you consider the fact that they had so many free throws that they gave away to the Wildcats surprisingly that the Tigers are still a lead three point shooting and kept them in this ballgame.
Charles Jarell on Avery standing by sideline with Coach Billingsley.
Gerald thanks a lot.
Charles Here with Coach Billingsley, Your team did an excellent job of getting the ball up and down the court in the first half.
You talk about that for a second.
Well, we know we tried to run up and down the court.
You know, I told you earlier that by nature I'm not a fans Reagan team, but we got small people and we just try to take advantage, whatever they give us and come down with it, just play us who we are.
And that presents a lot of problems.
So we got a lot of work to do.
We're going to go back here and see can we make some adjustment.
Dunwoody did an excellent job on the offensive rebounds, but it seems like you were able to counter that with three pointers.
Well, you know, we can shoot the ball well at times.
You know, I just hope that we can keep it up.
But like I said, we just they got they have an excellent team.
It's going to be tough the second half.
And I know that we've got to go back and get ready for the second half.
I would.
Thanks a lot, coach, and good luck in the second half.
Back over to you, Charles.
Thanks, Gerald.
Two fast moving teams, a fast moving first half.
We'll step aside for a timeout.
We'll break it to halftime show.
Stay with us.
welcome back to the Macon Coliseum.
We are at halftime of the boys triple-A basketball championship trip, leading it 36 to 31 over Dunwoody.
Now we'll throw it downstairs to our Gerald Oliver.
Right.
Gerald Thanks a lot.
Jim Right now I'm here with Assistant Principal Ricky Thrash from throughout from Troop and also Stacey.
Stephanie from Dunwoody.
Let's start off with you, Stacey.
Could you talk about some of the excellent academic programs that you have going on over?
Dunwoody Yes, sir.
I can be extremely excited about our academic rigor at Dunwoody High School, which encompasses academies as well as advanced placement courses.
We challenge our kids to take the rigor and run with it.
Okay.
We also have here with us Janet Francis, athletic coordinator.
Could you talk about how this is a special season for the school?
This is a special season for DeKalb County.
Not only is Dunwoody in the championship game tonight, but DeKalb County has had seven teams make it to the Final Four, with three advancing to the championship games.
Dunwoody is our last hope tonight to pull out a championship for us.
So we're we're rooting for Dunwoody.
We're proud of them.
And I know this is marks the 10th year anniversary for the last time you won the state championship.
Could you talk about some of the things that you've done over the school to commemorate that?
Yes, sir.
This year, during Senior night, many of our team members from 1995 came back to share with our students.
They impressed upon the student athletes that they must excel in the classroom and on the court.
That was the message from 1995, and they are here tonight to win.
A So I now understand it's also a special season for Troup, but for different reasons.
Could you talk about that for a second?
Yes.
First of all, let me say that our principal, Mr. Parsons, couldn't be here because of Yale.
He's ill tonight.
I know he would want to be here, but yes, this is a special team.
This group, our coach wife passed away and they dedicated the season.
They actually went undefeated the whole lost one game in the region tournament.
And they pulled together and really come together as a team.
Were extremely proud of them.
Yes.
But you also talk about how hard the staff has been working lately.
Tremendously hard.
You know, this time of year, we're getting ready for the high school graduation test.
There are a lot of initiatives going on.
And you see we have a fine basketball team, but we have a very fine staff back at Troup High School and they work really hard to help our kids get ready during this time of year for our graduation task.
Very proud of them.
Now, this is your first season being here in the state championship title.
Talk about the community support team.
This is your first time.
Well, the community for it has been tremendous.
I mean, the student body, as you can see throughout the tournament, we've had more people in the stands supporting us than most of the other teams.
We're supremely proud of them and proud of our staff as well.
Okay.
And I understand back at Dunwoody you have a special philosophy going on, and that is have the students find their niche.
What is that about?
We encourage our students to become involved.
We want them to be more than just in the classroom, very studious individuals.
We want them to be well-rounded students.
We want to instill in them the importance of athletic competition, but also that team feeling.
We want them to become a family.
All right.
Thanks a lot, Stacey, and also you, Ricky.
We appreciate it.
And good luck in the second half.
Back to you.
Jim.
I thank you, Gerald.
We're halftime.
It's the Tigers 36 and the Dunwoody Wildcats 31, a fast paced first half.
And I think we can expect more of the same in the second half.
Let's go back to Charles Ward at Herbalife Gym.
You're dead on target.
It was a quick first half a basketball.
The pace very intense up and down the floor.
Herb seemingly the Tigers have troop settled into their rhythm and it's working to their advantage.
Yeah they are in a little bit of foul trouble and done what it did get some offensive rebounds we knew they were going to have to look out for, but Troop was able to stay in the game early with the three point shots and then they started taking the ball to the basket with some success.
First half highlights.
They got started with the inside layup by Chris Thomas, but back the other way behind the arc, it was Reginald Billingsley that got it going for the Tigers.
A true but back the other way Jordan answers with his own three for the Wildcat and it was more work from behind the arc he bangs the ball another one there just a real spark for them as he comes with his third three for the first half and rattle that one home as well.
Billingsley with a big first half But back on the other end offensively will this bringing it home for the Wildcats and then by his crews traveling home another three for the Tigers A true that a lot of the stuff part of the story of this first after three point shooting of the Tigers true high school as we take a look at the stats the first half yep field goal percentage is it favorite group all the way around they've had more attempts at it and they've made more shots.
49%, Dunwoody 39%.
And the rebounds are not a big difference.
They're Dunwoody with five more but that's not a surprise free throws a big discrepancy but the three point shots were able to nullify that.
So basically we've got a pretty even game, a five point differential and the turnover is about the same very well-played game.
Jarell on a very stand against sideline with coach Scott Bronco.
Gerald Thanks a lot Charles Everything was pretty much even except for the fact that Chip was able to get out there on the three point shots.
Were you able to talk about during the halftime?
Yeah, they knocked down.
They were five for 13 from the three point line.
They did a good job of getting their shots off.
We didn't do a good job at contesting our threes.
We we need to pressure a little bit more in the second half and it, you know, we've got to get out to a little bit more.
How about the way they were able to get the ball down quarter so easily.
Well we really haven't applied too much pressure on them and you know, we haven't been on the same page.
We've got three guys pressing, two guys getting back.
And if we're going to be successful tonight, we're all going to have to be on the same page.
Okay, Thanks a lot, coach, and good luck in the second half.
Back to you, Charles.
Thank you, John.
And we're getting set to turn another page after we take a break.
We'll start the third quarter.
Stay with us.
We are back live at the Macon Coliseum, getting set to start the third quarter.
This Class three, a championship right now.
The Tigers are group leading it, 3631 over the Wildcats of Dunwoody, Charles Ward, Herb White, Gerald Avery with a play call.
Well, you heard Coach Bracco with with Gerald's comments.
He said we've got to turn it up a notch, especially on defense.
I'm not sure that they're quick enough to press this troop game.
Maybe they can turn it up on the boards, but we'll see involved.
Tucker, Tigers and shoot with the basketball top.
Give it the bump up to the glass, the spin of the ball.
Well, to this works it up into the fourth quarter for the Wildcats.
Do some tough man to man right now on the left side he started at the block world of his working hard, hit the side of the backboard though rebound comes away to the Tigers tigers enjoying their biggest out and with the splitter there by Tucker they extended contract the other way come Jordan Jordan all the way from the block list all the way here that easily clears gives it out to Thomas history Porter is short that troubles Bruce they want to add to their lead juice across the floor.
Works it out to Delaney for three.
Yes barely touched into that seven unanswered points for turf to begin the half wilderness.
Now he answers with two streaking from the left side.
Coach Bronco wants to talk it over for a moment.
good timeout.
Take it back up tobacco.
Take a look at the replay.
The lady behind the arc for the three there but on fire since the beginning from behind the ARC group has really opened it up here to begin this half done when he tried to go down inside on the first play of the half inside and one wilderness, and I look for them to try to do some more of that.
They were successful in either getting a bucket or drawing a foul in the first half.
They may want to try to slow this thing down a little bit.
Players came to Coach Billingsley before the season talking about they wanted to employ that run of shoot offense.
He said he told him that you like ready to shoot, We're going to do run and shoot, and they've been doing it.
I never had a coach.
I know that see walking at a right side as Tucker lost it inside the paint.
Thomas inside the arc working toward the basket thanks Build up by Thomas Bryant with a basket Sweet use of the glass there Great release George at the for hopefully picked up by Bryant at the top and he saw the floor Bryant gave chase but it'll stay with the tigers Tucker handles up top Calvillo tapped out of bounds trying to sneak a backdoor play in the lane into it about it in the back foot he does so to Tucker out of the Lady squares for three.
And how did it get there That was from a different zip Coach Charles Way downtown by Tristan Delaney.
Your work is out.
Delaney kicks it back to Betsy.
He answers.
That's a big basket for back and forth they go.
03. field goals.
Troop seven of 14 Wildcats working their way up there, two of six right now.
Left side Tucker on the penetration all the way through Left it short down Bryant clears Mincey handles at the post wilderness Nice get down low to Bryant drive it can't finish first time but he finishes second time around is that size and staying with it on the boards it's going to be really a weapon for Dunwoody.
If they can do it at Tiger Lead, it's down to six.
Hey Tucker, out front, we approach the four minute mark remaining, third quarter down low, give it to boost whistles.
Troop has actually gone to a14 set, Charles, and they've got a point guard out front with the ball and then the four players.
All right the foul line extended so they can leave that area behind the foul line open and try to break people in there with a quick backdoor to to Tucker.
Now they drop down the more traditional set goose running jumper 15 how to make it it's close rebound comes clearly above rebound bump He's inside with good positioning for the offensive rebound he'll go to the line done what he trying to trying to say that was a walk but looked like Humphrey kept that pivot foot he does fake to comfort the Dunwoody players out and the last man drop came down on his back that I I'm three four points two rebounds connects on the first as Darius Johnson reports back for the Wildcats he replaces Chris Thomas Portis has picked up his third foul obviously this is all the second bid so quickly up the floor wilderness right stops working it got the land and he draws a foul.
Not much contact, but got to leave the shooter alone when he's hitting the backboard.
Number four, his first maybe no contact.
Charles.
Nonetheless, Wilderness will be trying to convert the three and we'll take the best of the three on the second leading free throw shot, though.
And the basketball to the wild to the Tigers.
Now, the lady the stop top from ten and drop.
That's excellent Control all cats back the other way Jordan walking right side of the lady and always with left of center there goes world it has to work inside obviously he lost it out of bounds but forgot the ball as wilderness was going up for his shot caused it to come off will miss his arm Chris good out of the floor for the Wildcats.
He replaces Dierdre Bryant, the four 3 minutes remaining third quarter Tucker left side early so out of loose loose sidesteps the defense walks toward the baseline shot fell off and they're going to get bruised from the offensive foul I believe coming down the baseline lead.
You're right that'll be his fourth place.
That's a big blow for the Tigers.
He's a guy that can create off the dribble.
They can ill afford to lose his offense.
Sophomore Michael Caulfield back on the floor, being asked to fill some pretty big shoes at this point.
Good.
Back out.
The Oilers left side racing for three as George had a look, but he could put it down.
Basketballs loose finally comes clear to the Tigers pedigree looks to be right quarter the lady sidestep for the jumper This would short and it's cleared by the Wildcats two on one Jordan Talent just got the lead and he draws a foul.
Well I used to say when I was playing Giles if you got a foul, the guy makes sure he doesn't score.
They'll try to hurt him, but make sure he doesn't get the basket and you just can't give the guy that.
And then the free throw as well.
That's just again, one of those cardinal rules, George, with bad points.
One rebound on the night.
He'll go to the line here to try to cap off a three point play 207 related to the third group doing a good job with their defensive rebounding.
Now, though, they're getting a good triangle in their good Burks checking in for the Wildcats as Jeremy Tate full court pressure by the Wildcats Now the lady up the floor the ability bounce pass Bailey Bailey back to square for three left It should have a nice look though rebound for the Wildcats Cut it to that four point deficit go right side all the way through this Vinci.
He left it short and just like you talked about her bid to try to make up for the error and shot goes that he commits to foul after what's up Bailey Bailey's done a good job when he's come in the ballgame on the boards and got a couple of baskets when he first came in in the first half inbound pass tapped away.
It's loose on the floor.
The chase for Vincent taps at the water.
This Wildcats back the other way Porter this right side up by Bailey he got it Airborne board shots off He'll go to the line though a lot of body bagging going on now.
There you see the strong take to the basket and more with about £245.
And he's just sent one over to the bench in the wilderness.
Best of the first 12 points, three rebounds in his three eight champions.
A ballgame for all of us thus far.
What are you trying to pick up and cause some pressure but and they do create the turnover.
Try to throw it the length of the floor to Bailey.
Bailey couldn't catch up with it.
Here comes world world.
It's right side up by Caufield Have you started to get the sense that the Wildcats are going to live or die by what Eduardo will do this is able to do offensively.
They got down to him exclusively last couple of clips down the floor.
Well that's a tough matchup for Caufield.
He doesn't really have the strength.
He's got a little size but certainly doesn't have the strength to match up with anyone willing to wildcats his value to wilderness.
I'll bet he handles.
I'll switch Caufield off of that Humphrey got it right now blitzing on a run Look at some of the playoff hits a push off of NC save the little forearm right before he stopped for the jumper.
Good call by the official.
Less than a minute to the third circle.
Harris on the floor for the Tigers handles the basketball up top left side Billingsley Harris Harris puts it on the floor He lost it tied the score to Johnson Johnson squeaking on it for behind he got to lay and we'll see if they count it they will count the basket This can't stress that enough.
His no chance to get this ball out of there Just give him the two.
Don't pick up the foul and don't give him the extra point shots into the line It's got eight points two rebounds of the night before did everything you shouldn't have done to that and picked up.
I think that's his fourth foul Was it big.
Let's see this stuff the free throw jump ball he's done with his work.
So the Wildcats with a chance to go ahead with 36 seconds remaining in the third with a basket here wilderness at the block.
Got it to the senator.
They start the shot chased out of the quarterback field Caufield now dumps it, tried to dump it, tapped out of bounds by the Wildcats.
Truth will keep it short.
Bailey back on the floor for truth.
Humphrey takes a seat picking up that fourth foul.
Caufield just a sophomore.
He's doing a good job in there.
And now a lot of bulk.
But he's a long guy.
He can stretch to, get the board in the back court debate, whistle on the play out of reach in 33 minutes.
Turner Field.
I always called up that six Chris back on the floor Betsy will take a seat after the foul Wildcats right now on a six olerud Tigers looking to get a basket and sitter hold him for one good one here lady in the paint what happens to the rattle.
It had a good look at that ball.
Here come the Wildcats.
5 seconds.
They I don't have time to get a shot off.
Well, this independent little as often on basketball to the Tigers.
They keep the lead after the end of three they lead it 49 to 48 over the Wildcats of Dunwoody Parker the time out we'll bring you the final quarter here from the three eight championship from the Coliseum in Macon back to the sky just like a dragonfly a bird from the trees over 8 minutes remaining to determine our three a champion of the state of Georgia after three it's the tigers of keep leading the wildcats of Dunwoody 4948.
But with 8 minutes left Herb this could go either way.
Sure could.
And don't believe we're going to lose any fans on this evening.
Early so good third quarter play.
Both teams did what they wanted to do coming out there and we just about had a stalemate.
So eight good minutes left.
Let's see what happens.
Tigers will have the basketball to start it.
The point leaders thus far, the lady that certainly will agree with Brad Bruce with eight for the tigers as they look at their to the floor Caufield back out to Tucker this is away from the basketball and see what happened might have had an illegal screen Gerald delivery outside LA Gerald Charles you can see Chris Thomas is out on the floor and he's been instrumental for the team throughout the season.
He was actually in a car wreck earlier this year, right before Midnight Madness, right when he was supposed to sign with the D1 school.
And in that car crash, he actually lost his left index finger.
And as you see, he's out there playing right now with only four fingers on his left hand.
He's still battling, bouncing back for his team, battling back to win the state title.
Thanks, Gerald.
Crystal, No evidence of physical figures that are tied job for the Wildcats tonight.
The only thing that he's worried about is that index that he can hold up saying we're number one.
If they can win this championship.
Charles, That's good.
Half he just worked the bottom of this.
Brian misses.
I'm always best when I don't have time to think we're tied at 49 like the old coach used to tell me.
Don't think, Herb just react.
You're hurting the team when you're thinking, See us?
Do wildcats with a chance to go up here, do this at the block and they do quickly back the other way.
The lady ahead of the field got it to the senator left.
In short, rebound to the Wildcats.
Momentum starting week we'll see Betsy swings at left quarter Brian at the block go get it for the offense charged.
that was a shot got a full shoulder right square in the jaw but picked up the ball and got the turnover as the replay Bruce took the charge bounced right up.
Brian picks up his fourth Tigers first appearance at a title game.
Walking it inside the paint Got it left side Nice moves quick stepping up with the left hand with the soft kiss.
Go to this.
Watch it back left side.
He goes with the right here.
Let's take a roll.
Got to have some defensive help there.
You can't allow a man to take it from half court on the dribble without some help.
It comes Bruce, backed up by Johnson.
well Tucker out for Push off by Tucker here Tucker trying to work it right side The frustration of Coach Billingsley for that offensive foul probably trying to force a little bit little too much dribbling inside of coach pardus front spins in the paint.
They get it with a travel violation.
All cats letters other 1895 for a title at the state.
Looking to add another here spinning in the paint.
The lady shot it he got it to fall over load this Todd at 53 now Thomas right side gives it to Johnson Johnson spins in the paint for the senator shot at hard rebound thought for Johnson got it goes back to the glass that was off the mark Jordan's just tap spins around comes out basketball to the tigers look for the decibel level to increase about three fold from here on out Charles on every possession and we just put it back Tucker waiting on the defense, the lady out front, he'll hold out another under 5 minutes remaining.
This three championship ballgame.
Right side coverage given the goal nicely done in traffic, hopefully will go to the line when in doubt, go to one of the oldest plays in the book, Charles, you're so right.
The old give and go.
Humphrey did it well and drew the foul from Tucker with the quick third pass the Buffalo 57 that foul have gone to either one of the Wildcats had just three true very patient on that possession and some time finally got to the look of the basket buffalo left it on the senator but it fell off on the night seven points four rebounds and best of the second.
Thomas clears the stage out of that 53 that left corner almost stole stolen away Good anticipation by Bruce at the sideline Yeah a little bit of a telegraphed there and Bruce was watching him the whole time.
Now wilderness works it in the corner back out front Betsy right side Thomas Paul George got the ball baseline challenge to the side.
He wins it rejects the shot up the floor pumps a running back the other way but the turnover back to the Wildcats they work a three on to Betsy dishes left side Thomas to the glass meditations for the Wildcats back the other way is Bruce working out over this Yes yes 360 got it to go.
So we're tied at 55.
Don't see penetrates left side all the way through this to the lay bumps.
He clears from free Coming up big here late in this ballgame right side Bruce has to run it down lays it in the corner whistle on the play Mincey a little aggressive there he's going to pick up the foul so the lady will go through the lines A little pressure building.
You could feel it.
Let's see who the wildcat bitch.
As the lady sets to shoot free throws.
That's why shoot the 50% four of eight that Woody 16 makes for the lob lay violation by the Tigers basketball to the Wildcats.
Now, there's not getting enough practice at the free throw line tonight to get loose and I'm going to see some full court man to man pressure here by troop 328.
Here comes Jordan quickly right side in traffic they'll get to for the offensive foul there Jordan a bit out of control all that play you hit that on the head Charles Yeah.
He need to pull that ball back out.
Got to know when to take it and when not to take it.
And that was the time to pull it back out.
55 late in the ballgame you got to get a good shot.
Now.
Now the Wildcats are the Tigers shooting Jordan commits the foul and Tucker will go to the line Tucker good on the first timeout taken by coach Billingsley through 37 trying to set up what he's going to do if the free throws or if it's missed once the guys to be prepared neither situation it's Georgia's longest running weekly high school sports and academics program prep sports plus airs Thursdays evenings at 730 and Saturdays at 11 a.m. at 6:30 p.m.. Each week, you'll meet some of Georgia's most successful student athletes, athletics programs and much more.
That's from sports.
Plus, returning next week, exclusive Lee on GPB.
Well, Charles, this is when the coaches earn their money last couple of minutes of a tight game this is what they've got 315 remaining tigers of Troup leading at 5655 over the Wildcats Tucker all the night seven points two rebounds this start the second free throw from George left side Dobbs at the Tigers Thomas walking right side down whistle on the play bit of a push and that's like that's the eighth team foul for truth Johnny going to have a one on one Thomas a run at the law they call it a Billingsley Dunwoody at 19 fouls their next one will send the true tigers to the line for two.
Thomas missed on the front end but the rebound and the put back nicely done inside by various Johnson Wildcats with the lead Tucker all the way through the left side It's a foul called on Tucker Johnson with a hard job the offensive end with the put back hustling back down from the foul to Tucker that looked like he might have slipped up under him But the official saw it the other way.
And one and another instant, Charles.
And you got to know when to take it.
If it's going to be close, why not pull it back out?
Three, down one.
He got to get a good shot here.
So Tucker fouls out of the ball game.
That's surely will impact the Tigers 240 debate at the basketball game Russell on the play Jordan had it to the hole he was fouled That's ten on crew county now we're going to have the dunk the bonus for Dunwoody at the free throw line and you probably want to back off there too.
No there's no reason to be pressing your man out there way beyond the head of the circle in this situation.
Absolutely.
Scores that close.
You don't really need that.
Jordan, that's the first Wildcats lost for the semifinal round last year.
George Drexel, the second three point lead.
Tucker, broke through the shoot.
Throw it away.
Wow.
Wilderness comes away with it for the Wildcats.
Five points will be tough to overcome.
They could get a basket here Alex Cross with a right side forced to come out and play tough defense now being down three, they can't lay back Jordan and coach Bronco taking it hot out to to five in the basketball game three point lead for Dunwoody it's a fine line and troops made a couple of mistakes here late couple of fouls they probably didn't need to commit one offensive and one defensive and then the long pass for the turnover Charles And it doesn't take much in a tight ball game like this timeout situation shoot with three falls no throws left DUNWOODY with two falls it was 30 troops going to probably let try to put a lot of pressure on the basketball here they're probably going to try to create a steal for a certain length of time and then they're going to have to foul and then maybe trying to decide who they want to foul the Wildcats by three, John Tucker's fouled out for the Tigers of truth.
He handled that basketball a lot for them in transition.
Somebody will have to step it up now and take charge of that.
And he's got a good opportunity here for the steal on the inbounds play and be interested to see if they have a man on the ball or if they try to double team the inbounds player, they're going to have a guy on the ball already, Thomas said about it.
Throw it the Bryant Bryant walking right side down a jerk, but good shot.
The pace, good crowd before the shot.
But they're still going to line for two one and one or two with the vote is the right one.
So George to the line Harris commits the foul.
He makes both of these it's a five point you're at a two possession game.
No need to go for the three.
But you sure got to go down and make sure you get a good look at it to take the three if it's open, if you're down five, George makes the first for the second.
Right.
That with the have done what he's going to try to pressure the ball and use up some clock here by the way with that five point lead their biggest of the night and it's right here is where the differential is good Woody 20 of 27 from the line Tigers just five of 11 That's a five points right there Left side the lady for three hit the foot senator rebound clear by Bryant Thomas You got to look at the basket reverse lay and it fell off but he was fouled fouled him before the shot again but done with it be going to the line for two more now truth count is going to be forced to go down and look for the three Charles if he makes both of these you're down eight of seven excuse me that will force of the sheets of threes in a minute.
41 of them.
Any of us got the first all that 812 points three rebounds basketball tap out of bounds it'll stay with the Wildcat.
boy.
Bruce had his hands all over it.
Herb just couldn't pull it in.
Yep.
Everything going done with his way.
Now, I'm telling you, it's just little bitty things that can turn the ball game.
CHARLES And we've seen in this one Thomas, too, about that what's tapped around it comes play to the Wildcats got a to our most visible and safe bet for the Tigers timeout taken immediately by coach Billingsley that turned it around in a hurry all the old and no doubt about the result will bias Bruce to see you're with the dunk so we're looking at four points a minute 33 to go I'm coach Billingsley I say okay guys have again played tough defense for a few seconds.
Try to go for the steal because now we're going to have to fail.
And fortunately you're in the to foul situation, but you're going to have no choice.
They caught a break All that turnover with the dunk did lose a lot of time in terms of getting the two points.
Yeah, that was a big present for them right there as well as we'll take a minute here to send out a great thanks to our great production crew.
As usual, the guys behind the scenes, we may not get a chance in a close game like this and also had some great interns working with us throughout the weekend, some high school kids doing a good job, working some camera positions and doing their best to make us look good, which is yeoman's at any time.
And I heard rumors going that they may be behind the microphones next year, so who knows?
It's, of course, the high school coach, Billingsley.
Look, I got to have the sideline.
Hardly seems to be rattled at all, you know, a long time that way.
Talk back the other way to Bryant.
The guy to the block after block loaded is fighting for the rebound and he was fouled the offensive rebound in the strong suit of Dunwoody down in crunch time coming to the fore needless to say these will be some huge free throws you're looking at a four point game.
Yeah it's a two possession game.
If he makes even one of them.
Brian got an air board first tap by Walter.
This is off, but he's working hard down low.
I will repeat it again because we talked about it at the outset.
Dunwoody is a great offensive rebounding team.
You see it there where you try to rely on your strengths when it's crunch time.
man.
At 25 from age three, a championship Coach Billingsley got to take a time out.
Well, that is another night.
17 points, six rebounds short of his season average.
It's still a bit at 25 left and actually a three possession game now at four points.
But these are huge free throws because a minute 34 is still a minute, 25, still a long time to go in the ballgame.
So wilderness is going to have to drain both of these, preferably if he gets 1 to 5 point ballgame and then you probably look for a three pointer or the quick to when talked about the road to the finals Wildcats.
This has been the closest contest thus far as it should be with the final.
Now you see the timeouts remaining troop hurting for them.
They're out.
Yep that's what they were to fall at 130 left.
Hopefully they will beat them.
CAUFIELD End of the ballgame.
Got to make sure if wilderness does miss this free throw that you got to get this rebound an offensive rebound Dunwoody right here kills it Charles Wilderness will be shooting that's the first all of this this time the second rebound the Cubs credibility full court pressure by the wildcat smart move by coach Bronco right side Delaney now behind the Arc Caufield spreading himself wide They get the basketball inside they give it to him at the block spins to the set of a rediscovered shot.
It's loose.
Caufield gives chase, it'll go to the Wildcats.
Well, nice, strong move inside by the young fella and he went after the just couldn't maintain possession of the ball it went out of bounds and you're going to be forced to foul here within a couple of seconds Charles five point game minutes seven George it bounds it to Betsy pass they walk up the right side to George Valley all the way through it didn't pick him up goes all the way through the rack shot clock up look at the clearing by Bryant for the tap in big basket there by the Andre Bryant the lady who off to force a three he fires it short Well it is fluid how they look at the floor Thomas gives chase tapped out of bounds by Bruce Wildcats will keep him well coach believes they may decide he doesn't want to foul and send guys the line try to win it with steals are going to do much good either way right now unless they can come up with a big play in a hurry.
Tavis To Wilderness Wilderness How to take it Away.
Here come the Tigers.
Now the lady wants to get off for three he does drop the Tigers had a good look and put it down Kids won't go away from truth County Here is a four point Dunwoody lead Take a look at the lady working behind the arc knows what he has to do and that's it true and one wilderness a little shaky with the ball down here try to go with the fancy move off the dribble Lost it in boy those things cost you in a big game.
Be surprised if Dunn if truth is not fouling here Charles Butler absolutely quick foul 6561 the Wildcats leading it good one of the three finals That's great Went into great weekend of high school basketball with trips rattling around the coach the Wildcats back on the Florida if I'm calling the play I go for the inbounds pass as hard as I can go create the foul right there.
No time to go off the clock or the length of the floor.
He got to come over.
He is now on the floor, loaded his talented inside Caufield commits the foul boy that's you can't let that happen get the ball into play no foul for step on the offensive move Coach Billingsley stomping his foot over there with five most emotion we've seen out of him and that got something out of it the wilderness to shoot this the first start of second we have a lane violation for no he's getting three free throws.
He was inside there certainly inside of outside the nets.
They called this out on the pitch it all alone now that either a said a lane violation, however, the case has given, but it hasn't been a well the best of all three tapped around Caufield got it now they lock it up the floor the lady in traffic the lady trying to fire up a three pointer outside, shot it out the back the other way over the shoulder to tie the score to stop.
That'll do it.
Good, Woody with a big play defensively still to put them right to the wire, Charles gave it everything they had.
Do they did the Wildcats scrappy all game log and they come out with the win 6761 total Woody claims its second state title over the Tigers of true what a basketball game Great win in the weekend on that's for sure Well earned victory by Dunwoody Wildcats and wide world at is a key player for the Wildcats Great performance by him got a lot of help from some key players though Wildcats able to put it all together had to feed a real tough shoot high Tyger Teague Wildcats winners Gerald on a very steady bye with coach Bronco Gerald Thanks a lot Charles I know you must be really happy with how hard your team fought today to win this one.
I'm so proud of this team.
They work hard.
A person persevered in the second half, and you know what?
It's a great team, a great coach.
And I'll tell you, we'll have to.
So proud for Dunwoody.
We've got the best fans in the state.
And hey, we played hard.
I don't know what else to say.
I mean, it's been ten years since the last title.
What does this title mean for those who you know, you just look up in the crowd.
We got half half the bleachers are filled with Dunwoody fans and this is how much support we've had all year.
They've been excited all year about.
It, you know, another ten year reunion for Delon you know he basketball you know earlier on in the game it was really hard one battle but you really took advantage in the second half Would you do differently You know we just tried to pick up the pressure a little bit in the second half and we tried to contest and locate, you know, the guards shooting the threes.
They hit some late and, you know, we just you know, we came one shot in the last 2 minutes and I thought it was key.
That was big for us.
All right, Coach.
Well, guess what?
It's time to celebrate.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Back over to you, Charles.
Thanks, Gerald Great job.
All night at the sideline.
The winners, the Wildcats at Dunwoody win it 6761.
