Donquell Green rushed for 127 yards and two TD’s and Corey Mayton added two touchdown runs as Burke County won the 3-A championship with a 28-14 win over Peach County, the first state title school history. Peach County jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but the Bears defense stiffened in the second half as Burke outscored Peach 22-0.
