Well past dark hitting the same hundred yards over and over and over.
And for what a few Shining Moments of Friday night.
Corey, not Hardy, these teams are in it to win it, the whole thing.
And this is their ultimate chance.
When we say the stakes, couldn't be higher.
We mean it.
This is The Final Countdown.
Hope you're ready to find out who has what it takes to earn the title champion.
It's the mays Raiders and the Northside Warner Robins Eagles.
Next.
Welcome to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta tonight, the George.
Shahi School Association, 5A state championship game as the hometown Mays Raiders play in the state championship game.
For the first time in school history, the Northside Warner Robins Eagles going for their third state championship and playing in the finals for the first time since 2009.
Maze at 12:00 and 2:00.
They've won eight in a row.
They've been in playoff mode since they lost a Creekside in week 5 of the Season had to beat Miller Grove the final week of the Season just to make the state playoffs and beat John.
County on the final play of the game to win that quarterfinal matchup on November 28, Northside Warner Robins 13 and one region to Champions.
They've won 10 in a row.
Since their only loss came to Jones County back in September.
They beat Altoona last week in the semifinals to reach the Georgia Dome and good evening.
I'm Matt Stewart joined by Larry Smith and Larry maze historic season already trying to rewrite the football history books for Atlanta Public Schools while Northside Warner Robins playing deep into December.
Nothing new for them.
No, it really isn't.
You know for Mays you think about this?
No APS school has won the State title since Southwest Atlanta.
Did it back in 1973?
As you mentioned, Northside Warner Robins there here so many times six time now to the title game, as you mentioned before, first time since 2009, but again, both schools here, both programs, great coaches.
The players have worked really hard.
Some talented players should be a very good match up.
Let's talk about the mays Raiders.
They have what has got to be the So often to Blind in the history of Georgia, high school football, all five starters over 300 pounds led by their left tackle Dallas, wormack.
Who's a four-star committed to the University of Alabama.
Yeah.
He's unbelievable.
I just in fact, he's a tough kid play, but the flu last week, the coaches didn't even know it, but you're right.
All five offensive line starters.
None of them left in 305.
There's some college coaches, who'd like to have head off at that offensive line.
Of course, his brother chance.
Went on to play for the University of Alabama, in his first-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in.
1013.
All right.
Let's talk about North Side.
They like to ground you out.
They like to pound it for pound.
They like to run the football.
332 yards rushing per game, led by their star running back Willie Jordan.
Yeah, he is outstanding getting a lot of looks from some division.
One programs already over 2,100 yards, this season 33, total touchdowns.
As you mentioned.
They love to run.
They got a pass a little bit here, but there's no question.
He's gonna get the ball a lot tonight.
He had 40 carries last week against Altoona.
He could get another 40K.
Still taste.
My see tonight.
You're here tonight.
Alright, the third member of our team is John Nelson down on the sidelines.
Johnny.
Thank you very much.
Matt.
And Larry.
Good evening, everyone.
However, you are accessing us, whether it's on GPB TV, gpb.org, or the GPB Sports app, the last championship, for a city of Atlanta school Southwest.
Atlanta back in 1973.
Corey Jarvis.
The head coach of maize actually grew up in the Maze District, went to Harper because his sister was As in the magnet program there, but he knows about maze.
He knows the history.
He knows about city of Atlanta football and he knows what it would mean tonight.
If after 48 minutes, maze comes out, on top, we caught up with him earlier this week.
Community Support has been outstanding and you know just walk right up Cascade and see, you know, sign saying go Raiders, we believe and just to have, you know, the alumni come back and it would be huge for us to win the state championship in football because you know, I got a chance to talk to a couple of coaches who actually and players who played at this Old Southwest High School and you know, they want it so bad for that community and it's Northside runs through their Banner.
It's going to be a step test tonight.
Can the city of Atlanta breakthrough, they've had visitors all week long at practice from Southwest Atlanta High.
They've given them fruit, and they've given him gifts.
They've given him the meaning of what tonight means to play in a game 15, guys.
This is far more important than lighting a candle.
Let's light, the torch for the 5A Championship here at the Dome back upstairs.
Alright, Nellie.
And you talked about the visitors for Coach Corey Jarvis.
Got a phone call this week from Ted Sparks.
He's now in his 80s.
He was the head coach.
Of Southwest Atlanta back when they won that state championship in 1973.
Last week, former Douglas Allstate running back.
Oscar, Dillard gave the team of pep talk.
Of course, the 1975 Astros team was a state finalist as well.
And they've already Rewritten history a little bit because just playing in the state championship game.
They become the first Atlanta Public School to reach the finals since Brown in 1991 that before the Georgia Dome was built.
Kevin Kinsler following in the footsteps of Conrad Nix there at Northside, and he's done exactly what the legendary coach did before him except won a state championship, 59, and six, in his Fifth Season, since taking over as the head coach and 2010.
He's been at Northside now for close to 30 years, 22 years, assistant there.
The last 15 is the DC predicts.
He was a star quarterback from Northside and went on to play for West Georgia, and you see the folks.
That have made it to Atlanta from Middle, Georgia.
Dressed in their Northside blue and orange.
And across the way, the mays Raiders well-represented here twelve and two already and historic season bettering their best season before that was 11 and 1 back in 2003.
Nor side won the opening toss and deferred.
So maze will receive the opening kickoff.
And you're opening kickoff is brought to you by go build georgia.com.
Learn a skill, build a career, do it now.
And go build georgia.com.
Justin Alonso will kick things off for Northside.
He's put 18% of his kicks into the end zone for touchbacks taishan.
And to Paris Carter stand.
Deep for Mays.
A short pit was to be taken by Lankford at the 20-yard line.
The runt a Langford dropped by camber debt at the 23, and that is where the mays Raiders will.
Start on offense.
For the first time tonight, led by their senior quarterback, A Sonia and her whole a 62 210 pounder, who's completed 54 percent of his passes for 1821 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions.
He's also rushed for 348 yards and scored four touchdowns.
Handoff goes to a Marcus apartment and Burnett stick seem right in the Gap, little game.
If any, as we take a look at the mays Raiders on offense and look at this offensive line all five starters over.
300 pounds opposite.
Tackle of War back is Malik Mackey his daddy Malcolm, of course a star basketball player, Georgia Tech, and what Play in the NBA.
There's your skill position players for the Raiders.
Well, Marcus Bell getting his second carry Burnett, making his third tackle of the ball game already.
As we take a look at North Side, on defense Jones, Northern and Richardson upfront.
Johnson is also a defensive tackle.
And then Jones, Burnett, and Williams are the linebackers Dale.
He's their leading tackler.
He's a safety Linwood, Hawtin and young Raekwon young with five interceptions, on the season.
As you look at that, Region's Bank starting lineup for Northside on people's third down.
Now runs up to get stopped short of the first down at the 31 yard line by Richardson.
And it's going to be fourth down and apparently a three and out here for me.
So although the punt unit now makes its way onto the field.
That's a good defensive start.
Therefore this Northside Warner Robins defense three-and-out its way you want it.
You're the head.
Coach.
They surrender only 61 yards rushing per game.
And a total of 222, a game teams are more prone to pass against North Side simply because they shut down the Run.
Hotness standing deep for Northside, today's short kick from Spence and we'll see where they spot it the 45-yard line.
Just a 23-yard kid by Bobby Spence.
And so good field position for Northside as they go on offense for the first time tonight and they are led by their sophomore quarterback Tobias Oliver 6-foot 175-pound.
60 lb 10th grader, who has completed 53 and a half percent of his passes for 1233 yards.
Just six touchdowns and five interceptions has also rushed for 754 yards.
He is their second leading rusher.
Behind Jordan Zone.
Read handoff goes to Willie Jordan.
And Jordan picks up five.
As we take a look at the Region's Bank starting lineup.
For Northside on offense, Brandon Sandifer, the only College commitment on this team.
He is the right tackle.
He is committed to the University of Florida.
And there are the skill position players Greene, and Weaver.
The wide receivers.
Jordan is the guy to watch.
20, 173 yards rushing this season, a School record.
Swing the pass out here to Weaver Ramon.
We burn tackled at the 44 yard line by Brooks the corner.
That's going to be a first down for Northside was a team that looks a lot like Auburn in terms of their uniforms.
Look exactly like the Auburn Tigers.
They like to do a lot of motion as well.
The spread offense, a lot of things moving around, but Gus Malzahn does over the plains nice effort right there, but a good defensive stick to to keep it to a short game, just the 15th catch of the season for Weber who actually started out the season.
as the number one quarterback for Northside, First, and Ten.
Oliver runny and throwing that decked.
As he threw Weaver was the intended target, as we take a look at the mays Raiders on defense, brought to you by Regents Bank Daniels brown little and read.
Price Rutherford and Patrick Patrick's, the guy to watch, He's committed to Georgia.
Jordan Brinson Brooks.
And Patrick Charlie.
Patrick not playing tonight.
Suffered MCL tears last week in their loss against Stockbridge, their win against Stockbridge.
Pardon me.
We'll check to see who's playing in place of probably Williamson Joanne Williams, and probably in the starting lineup for Patrick tonight.
No, Running Room right there, Marques Daniels, the three technique drops him for a loss at the 46 yard.
Daniel's very active there.
511 255.
Junior number 50, watching here on the replay.
Right here again.
Just that shows you the quickness.
The coach was talking about mad and as we talked to him earlier this week just blew right by that Lyman again, 511 255, but he's got really nice feet for a defensive lineman.
Third down and long now for Northside.
Willie Jordan on the carry.
To the 42-yard line, got only four yards on the play.
The tress Patrick making that tackle for Maize and it's going to be fourth down and I bet North Side will punt.
Here's we're going to kind of settle into at least early here.
Larry, a field position, type get?
Yeah.
Absolutely.
I think, again, both teams showing what they can do on defense, very early on.
It was a short punt.
So, nice job here by Mays, but again, a lot of run not real effective with the past.
We'll see what kind of adjustments they make.
Is this game goes on Justin Alonso, the junior averaging 34.
And a half yards per punt this season.
He handles all of their kicking duties, place-kicking and kickoffs as well.
Angles to kick away from taishan Brown.
He'll take it on one hop and taishan brown will be dropped right in his tracks.
Picked up only two yards on that play Linwood making the tackle for the Eagles.
And we'll take a timeout.
Couple of possessions for both teams here, Mase went three and out.
Northside picked up one first down.
Will come back from a second possession in just a moment.
GHSA Championship is made possible in part by Regions Bank.
It's time to expect more George's.
Electric Membership Corporation lighting away.
Technical college system of Georgia.
Learn more earn, more Cigna together, all the way.
And viewers like you.
Thank you.
The GHSA would like to thank the Georgia Farm Bureau.
736 play in the opening quarter.
Maze in Northside Warner Robins just underway in the 5A state championship game.
Let's go down to the field and John Nelson.
Thank you very much, man.
We're walking to a position right here.
Catching up with someone who knows a little bit about football here in the state of Georgia head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs Mark, richt.
What do you remember most about your high school days?
Well, we actually made it.
We made it to the state playoffs.
We lost in the semi-finals.
To team called Miami, curl city in Florida, and playing the trench will downpour and lost 11:45.
So we had a great season and they went on to win the state championship.
So good.
Memories and then you look at how it's changed as an element.
Does it blow you away at time is just how it's all different these days.
Well, TV, the retention on the recruiting and then just the tremendous coaching by the high school coaches, especially in this state.
It's phenomenal.
Favorite High.
Cool memory, which would be blank.
Oh, I think just being with my teammates after a great victory in the locker room, having a good jump.
Thanks for your time.
Enjoy the weekend.
Thank you.
Send it back upstairs.
Thanks catch up with the coach.
It is good.
Thank you.
Nellie.
Appreciate that.
No doubt.
He's here.
Although he can't say that he's here.
Looking at the tress Patrick fine defensive end for the mays.
Raiders who's been committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Since May.
Because coaches can't comment publicly about players until they sign letters of intent and a whole thing.
16 yard pick six.
Her Jalen Kendrick What a big play there by this Eagle deepens.
As we check out the tcsg touchdown replay.
Watch this the defense.
Hey, when you can get points in the Deep at distance, big aderhold the pump wasn't fooled.
Nobody picked up Tyree Williams.
There on his Blind Side ball bounces in the air right up into the hands of Jalen, Kendrick, the junior linebacker, and it's Northside Warner Robins on the board.
First 15th, interception of the season for North Side.
And this one goes for points, p80 by Justin Alonso.
Who's a perfect 61 for 61 on the season.
And Jalen Kendrick makes a memory in the Georgia, Dome, with the touchdown pick six.
That's a big play right there for the Eagles.
And this defense to make that happen.
You've had two defensive stances right now, mazes had the ball twice, and yet to get a first down three, and out the first time.
And then right there in the first play.
Let's take one more.
Look at this, great defensive play right here.
I buy Northside Warner Robins again, one more a different angle.
You can see right there and there's Kendrick just right place, right time.
Good block right there.
He could have somersaulted into the end zone map, huge quarterback hit by Taya.
Read Williams off the edge, the linebacker blasted through, and got aderhold.
That was an easy pick 64.
Jalen Kendrick second interception of the season for the 510 185 pound Junior.
We know what you and I were talking about before the game started.
How really Northside wanted to limit maze big play.
So many big plays that kept them going here in these playoffs, but it turns out they deliver the first big play of this game and they go on the scoreboard first.
Angle kick again, taken by lime, 40 Buckles at the 16th and wisely covers it right there to avoid further disaster.
So maze, having a little bit of a difficulty here.
Perhaps the bright lights and the big moment getting to them a little bit here in this first quarter.
Yeah, I think so.
And that's a thing right now is that that's bang bang plays.
Like you said, smart play, right there just to cover it up.
Don't make it worse than what it is.
You don't want to get him the ball again, deep inside your own territory.
But at this point, it's One play, that's one score, settle down get back into the Rhythm and the things you plan to do all week long.
So aderhold back out there with his offense, castley Tyler, lines up beside him, there down a running back.
Remember Charlie, Patrick.
I said as the torn MCL and cannot play today cannot get around the edge and that is exactly what this Northside defense wants to Chris.
Right?
The safety.
They are very quick.
They want to push it to the edge because they feel like they can cut you down before you turn the corner.
Absolutely.
And they did that right there.
It's a great calm.
You know, they really wanted like you said, push him out contain them him in front of him.
Not a big Northside defense, but kind of like an SEC defense that it really relies on its speed aderhold given time.
This time, throws incomplete.
So I know Andre Gustavus his intended target.
Yeah, sorry that I noticed right there.
One more.
Look at this.
Look at this Northside Warner Robins there, only rushing three guys, and we've seen this before in other defense, has that play.
So well on Friday night when you could only Rush three guys, that means you can drop back eight guys, and that makes it very, very hard to complete a pass down field as they found out right there, third down and five.
Mais really needs a conversion here to avoid another three, an ounce.
Already down in a seven.
Nothing hole.
Aderhold toys complete as he caught it by halting the corner.
And it's going to be fourth down and one more.
Look at this, right here, again, trying to beat again.
You're only rushing three.
So we had our whole, trying to get the ball out towards receiver very quickly, but a very smart play again.
Keep the players in front of you.
You don't want to make turn a small plane to a big play.
Great defensive play brings up.
With down and Larry taishan Brown, the senior wide receiver.
He's got to know better than that.
He's got to get his route, be on the sticks on that one.
Yeah, you can't turn a yard shorter to yard short as he did at something.
I'm sure he's going to coach the talking about here.
In the side spends, punts it away hot and has to retreat to get this thing, great pick by spins and Hawk is bobbing it.
As he Fields it, he can turn the corner, might do some damage.
Got one more man to beat.
Thereby hot enough just to get back to where he originally.
Fielded the pot, a 48 yard kick by Bobby Spence who averages less than 30 yards per kick, but really got some are under that one.
I tell you what when you get this kind of Bounce, look at this, it bounces and then he almost loses it.
But hey, you know what?
Given credit he managed to turn this back around, make a positive gain least, get back to it.
If he doesn't reach out to ground that that ball probably He is inside the 10 and so they're starting First and Ten on their own 31.
If shahim Rutherford doesn't get him right there and push him out of bounds.
It might have gone.
He was that close Willie, Jordan.
Nothing.
That smart res Daniels.
Again, making the tackle right there at the line of scrimmage.
I'm really impressed with Daniel's and again just look at the quickness here, you know talking to coach Jarvis.
He said, you know, if this kid were 62 63 all the big boy colleges will be all over.
I got to tell you what they should be looking at him right now and 511.
He's Two tackles for loss already in this game.
Astounding 27, tackles for loss coming into the ball game.
Jordan runs right into the teeth of that, Mays defense.
Little making the tackle and Coach Kevin Kinsler.
Kind of felt like they were probably going to have to run right at Mays because Mays has great team.
Speed didn't know that they would be able to make a living trying to get around the edge now.
They are going to run outside but said we might be better off trying to run right at them because their speed is so great and right now not having a lot of success at that either little bit, but both teams right now trying to find their way against the other teams defense.
Down an eighth to the air Oliver through walls and pops up into the air and fortunately for norsai falls out of bounds, but if you see the white shirts converging, and these guys kind of look like the old San Diego Chargers uniforms for people who are fans of the old AFL back at the day, but that there's that ball, went up the air like for white shirts, all Converge on it.
But as you said, falls harmlessly out of bounds, strong defensive effort as well on both sides.
Again, in the one scores is the interception Von Weber was the intended target on that incomplete pass.
So Oliver on all three of us pass attempts has gone to Weaver.
Justin Alonso standing at his 20 yard line to punk.
Good kick, the proud has to go back to the 29 to get anti-shine brown, a six yard return to the 35.
And that's where maze will go on offense with their fourth possession.
Following a 39-yard.
Kick by Alonzo.
Here's what Corey Jarvis had to say to his Mays Raiders in the locker room just before taking the field.
Championship, it ain't no OE.
Playing enjoy Stone hits.
We are playing another football game and just so happens.
That is Northside Warner Robins.
Here, you go out and you play loose, you have fun play fast and get out there for 48 minutes.
And when we leave this state we lead in shorts down, everybody.
Everybody gonna know right now.
I don't know what go steal my ring, but we try to get that.
And that's what we want.
We want that silver trophy everyone opportunity.
What one of these and let my time then result because they already know started.
We just had to not.
You understand me.
Well, Marcus Bell with the carry right there.
On the first play of this series, picked up three yards, you know, Larry coaches always like to say that.
It's just another game.
Those kids are smart and they know what's at stake, Caribbean chicken, but coach were in the dome and it's the semblance at this is not just another game because we're in the You don't know this locker room been with and it's a lot television.
That's right.
But you gotta say it.
You gotta say it.
I you Excel but you're right.
You're right.
It was always love to say that.
Yeah, the kids never buy it.
That's right.
Tough on the coaches.
Again, trying to find a way to keep their kids.
Yo grounded focused about to run out and the pageantry of this.
Such a great weekend here at the Georgia Dome.
Corey.
Jarvis said that the kids went to a local.
Ooh, Elementary School District of the players were treated like Superstars passes.
Thrown complete ran Treatise Davis with the first down catch for Maze.
And finally, they get a first down as they push the ball out to the 50 yard line Davis, just a great Athlete on that.
A 12 yard pickup managed to take one more.
Look at it.
You know, I like this throw right here, sets.
His feet, gets it out there.
Great hands and watch the move right here.
You can see number 24, trying to reach out Chris Wright.
Try to maybe just slowing down with his feet.
Trip up a little bit 30th catch of the season for range.
Weakest Davis 24/7 Sports composite three-star, Junior wide receiver offered by Kentucky and Louisville pump fake in the middle wide open.
That's a catchable, ball /?
De Paris.
Carter, got some alligator arms, as he saw the safety.
Take a daily closing fast.
We're look at this again.
Looking only rushing three right here, didn't really care for a day.
Daily kind of go into his hip kind of hard there.
So, second down, and 10.
Now from the 50.
Marcus Bell with the carry a whole it got shut down.
Quickly by daily daily.
The safety team leading, 60 tackles on the season and four interceptions.
Man, I was just going to say that but them rushing only three really only for that time, everyone kind of falling back into pass coverage.
I'm surprised mazes and trying to exploit that little bit and that was a good play call right there.
They saw which is what we're talking about.
A hold on, the left side, a nice five-yard pickup.
We have brings up third and five the saw daily there for a moment.
Secondary really big for Northside.
They put a lot of pressure on their secondary, put those guys on an island, a lot and really count on them in the Run game and our whole to the air.
Accepted by Jaylon Kendrick.
Again.
He would have had another big six and he knows it too.
Oh, one more.
Look at this.
Given already has a moment.
He'll never forget with a touchdown in the state championship game off the interception.
And look at that.
The ball tip there at the line.
See who got a hand on it.
He was number 5000 number 20.
Number 20.
Yeah, Jones.
Jalen Kendrick, that would have been a pick six.
You had nobody in front of him.
So close Bobby spins, who had a big 48 yard kick his last attempt kicks.
Again a line drive, this time, end over end, that's going to bounce into the endzone.
So North Side will get the ball at the 20 with 346 to play here in the first quarter of another 45 yard kick, but you can subtract the 20 on the net because it goes into the end zone.
You haven't talked much about that maze offensive line right now and what they're doing, you know, you can see what Northside Warner Robins is trying to accomplish and so far.
They're doing that.
Hey, you know what?
Those guys are so big.
That's not trying to beat him up there.
Let's fall back into coverage instead and try to make it hard to complete a pass.
And right now, they're doing that.
I think aderhold is only 144.
And once again, it's or side Robins Northside Warner Robins with a ball gown.
Formation with TJ Anderson lined up as the full-back.
Whether Jordan gets the handoff and he's not going to get around the edge again.
It's gonna be very difficult to run around the edge here.
Miles Reed that defensive end / linebacker, making the tackle 78 tackles on the season for read.
Well, this is just a great play.
And once again, as we talked about in the pregame math, that these guys are missing their to Mike linebackers are out.
So, you know, Evan price out last week.
Brian Jackson is out as well.
So again, it's next man up and so far.
They're getting the job done.
Yeah, they have the tress Patrick, the defensive end playing the Mike linebacker position because of those injuries and that's Patrick right on cue.
Making the tackle 1:54 45.
He's a name that comes up a lot.
When you talk about this, Raiders defense, big leader on the team number nine, get a good.
Look at him right there.
Big leader in a big body.
He is, I love those face masks to, you know, you have Where You Are.
He smashed like that.
It seems you're gonna go in and meet you mean business.
Two tackles today.
105 tackles on the season, 25 tackles for loss 19, quarterback sacks, third down and long.
Now for Northside, here comes a blitz and they rejoin the dropping, nothing doing right there.
And that was Juwan Williamson who's subbing in at strong, safety for the injured Charlie Patrick, making the tackle for loss.
Yeah.
Once again just outstanding defense, watch the anticipation here.
Number 6.
Let's side of your screen.
And there he is shed.
The tackler just goes right through him.
You know, that anybody gets the ball.
It's going to be Willie Jordan number four.
He already has six carries already here in the game.
Not much going on in production and fourth, and long, got a pump for tackles for loss already, for Mays in this first quarter, Northside averages 332 yards.
Rushing per game going to be hard for them to get close to that number today.
And a kick off the side of a lot of Joe's foot goes out of bounds and great field position for Mays.
In fact, I think it may be the best one.
They've had in the game.
22 yard punt puts the Raiders offense in great field position, man, Georgia, traveler scours, the peach state for all the newest oldest weirdest and wildest attractions for you and your family to explore from Scenic getaways to high, adrenaline adventures.
And of course some of the best seats in Georgia.
Watch, Georgia traveler Sundays at seven.

Could look at aderhold City can do this time, complete down the sideline and daily saves the touchdown by getting them out of Bounds at the 13 yard line.
He does that just was a great play and I love the play fake to.
As we take a look at the replay on this, just watch this.
Take a couple of looks at this sheet.
See what they're doing again.
Great think right there to hold a linebacker there inside, carven takes off and that's a Close on defense by daily one more.
Look at it blows right by that guy again, the good speed by this maze team and they're in business down inside the 15, 38 catches on the season, for Carter, who's really been the MVP of their playoff brought.
And that's a big quarterback sack right there.
For Northside, sure is.
That's a blown assignment right there as you take a.
Look at our whole thought.
He had a running back to hand off to, but he had already run by yacht Jones with his second sack of the season.
Right there.
Take a look at him.
Oops, guess Ali.
Tyler.
He wanted to get the ball to and somebody somewhere that their signals crossed.
Yeah.
Jones.
The junior 63 220 linebacker.
Just under 40 tackles on the season, second down and long now for beige.
Pump fake, dump off across the motor, run to the end zone for the touchdown for me.
Tyshawn Brown and it's 76.
19 yards there on the touchdown mad and Maine's gets back into business.
They take advantage that for punts by The Eagles great field position.
They wind up inside the 40 -yard line of Northside Warner Robins and take it right down the field and they get The Passing game going as well.
You look at that outside of the blown Rush that they tried to make happen every play with the past lamb.
Believe in them replays, 37 yards.
It took nearly 57 make that 51 seconds.
Trenton Jameson on for the p80 just 7 of 10 on P 80s this season.
Kick his down.
Kick is blocked, and I don't have to tell you.
But professionally as a play -by-play guy, I compelled to tell you that a p80, that's blocked in the state championship game, could come back to haunt.
You.
Absolutely.
Look at this right here.
Little slow with the delivery going in but that's just daily.
Making a great play on it.
That's what you got to do.
He's made a couple of nice plays here.
Let's take a look here at the touchdown.
Now, they're tcsg touchdown replay aderhold with the pump right here waits for his man to clear gets open.
And there he is.
Taishan brown.
Lot of speech.
On this maze offense gets the ball and he's just way too fast.
A defense going.
The other direction.
You can see, you can see daily, try to catch up in here.
He has watch him here work across the middle.
It's just a short plan.
We talked before again about Northside Warner Robins, they'd want to keep maze from making the small plays into big plays.
And that's an example, short little play right there, little dump off but a 56 -yard pass takes it into the 19-yard touchdown, and they're on the board 76 there.
On that dragon.
Route right underneath the no linebackers.
Could be able to run book step for step with taishan brown.
Who Corey Jarvis says is probably the best wide receiver.
He's seen in high school as a coach.
That was his seventh touchdown catch of the season.
That's High, Praise, man.
Return by Weaver up to the 35 yard line Northside leading by one year in the final minute of this first quarter.
Northside really hasn't been able to get any offense going here.
They're only points coming on the pig Sick by Jaylon Kendrick.
See what they do here.
They're not a big passing team less than 100 yards passing per game.
Kevin Kinsler says that Tobias, Oliver can throw it.
Let him back to a big victory against Houston County.
That's the run there by Oliver and he got blown up.
Nice defensive play by DeAndre Brown to get in there.
That's the fifth tackle for loss in this quarter.
For Mays, coach talked about Brown as well.
Another big boy there 510 255 and says, you know, he's really just become such a dominant player in defense.
He almost really requires that you double-teaming.
So if you're bringing him in another one, the linebackers.
Right there.
They're getting great penetration.
So far here in the first quarter.
I think the coach Jarvis has to love but his defense in front seven is doing right now.
Here in the first group DeAndre Brown, sixty six tackles on the season.
That was his 21st tackle for loss Jets week to Weber.
Jomon Weaver.
Can't get around the edge.
Nice form tackle, right there by Mi read the linebacker textbook right there, and it's going to be third down.
With two seconds to play in the quarter one more.
Look at this.
I like what they're trying to do again.
Get something going out to the outside.
But watch here.
This is read.
Watch him.
Shake the block right there.
TJ Anderson out there in the flat trying to block him.
Did a good job at that was read doing a better job of shaking him off and making the play and give him this with minimal game.
Final play of the quarter.
Oliver.
Cuts it back in the middle.
Nice.
Run by Tobias Oliver.
And big second and third effort to get close to the sticks, but not enough for the first down on the final play of the quarter 11-yard pickup, but he needed about 12.
So north side with the lead.
After one quarter of the pick-6, by Jaylon Kendrick.
He took it in the Maze.
Came right back and pull.
The quarter was over and got the touchdown pass from aderhold the taishan brown.
One point game.

Welcome back to the Georgia Dome 5A State title match living up to the hype right now.
Northside Warner Robins leading May 726 heading into the second quarter.
We've been talking football all day long, but right now it's time for you to fill us in on what you know, we want to know how many games Northside Warner Robins one between the seasons 2006 and 2008.
That was when Conrad Nix was at the helm.
And two of those Seasons.
They kept off their year with the State title win.
So let us know on Twitter or Facebook.
How many wins there were between 2006 and 2008 for Northside Warner Robins.
I'll be back in the fourth quarter with a winner back to you guys in the booth.
Thanks Grace.
That was a great, run by Conrad Nix, but overall get this Larry last 17 Seasons.
Northside has gone to 0, 5, and 22 just 22 losses in the last 17 Seasons 17 consecutive seasons of at least 10 wins every year.
Year, two state championships by finals.
Nine semifinals 12 quarter finals, during that run.
That's just one North Side will kick and nearly blocked by Daniel's.
Is he got in there?
Deep on the kick?
By Alonzo.
Fair catch, is made by taishan Brown and that's where maze will take over on offense, following a 31-yard.
Kick and you look at Daniel's here.
He got in deep.
No one blocked him.
He was very close to blocking that kick really was and to avoid the roughing the kicker me.
He's, you know, a lot of times you see that of a guy just just misses.
He ends up hitting the kicker.
I could see why coach is so high on this young, man.
He's really quite an athlete.
Again.
He carries 255 on that frame.
He's at, he's not a, not a small young man.
So maze back on offense now.
Maize was 73 yards of offense in that first quarter Road, Marcus Bell on the carry.
Tyree Williams number 5 in there.
Actually, I believe not remark to spell that was casterly.
Tyler on the carry Tyler tore his ACL last year who really they really didn't start using him that much until Midway through this season.
But Coach Corey Jarvis said that he's really starting to play well and play up to his expectations.
A real slasher, Adrian Peterson type running back, second down and they throw it.
To Tyler Tyler with one man to be got by Linwood and got another and up to the 34, yard line, 33, yard line, and just a couple of yards.
Shy of the first down on some nice second, and third effort by Tyler.
It'll match your point again.
Look at this.
The effort right here that he makes watch the move right here.
That's what he's talking about.
The Adrian Peterson comparison sheds.
The first tackler still gets positive yards after the second and third hit third down into Tyler with 45 yards, rushing on the season.
Again, they were slow to bringing back after the ACL injury, last season pass, batted at the line of scrimmage and nearly intercepted.
That's the second time yacht, Jones has got his hands on a pass, and it's 4th down.
He's done a great job up there.
It's almost like it's a, he's up there playing volleyball.
He turns around.
He's a reaction.
He's looking at.
And here's John Jones right up here, but see him.
Jump up and that's just good Vision right here.
There he is right there.
That's just great vision and that's textbook.
Yeah pass rush right there too.
If you can't get to the quarterback when that ball is coming out you jump up and try to knock it down.
That's exactly what yacht Jones did.
That's why you don't just run forward.
You got to run with your eyes up yet.
Always be looking around.
Never know what might happen.
Bobby Spence blast.
Another one and how it makes a bad mistake trying to fill that thing over his shoulder.
The see, did he get on top of it?
He did.
Wow, we have boys.
Disaster right there.
That's the second time that out in this game, has mishandled, a punt and both times has lived to tell about it.
Yeah, the first time he was able to recover it in this time, to boy, that's being bounced.
He's down.
Just so happens.
As you can see, right there.
If it wasn't for other foot of number six, Aaron Cochran for Mays.
It was daily.
Who recovered watch this.
Their number six comes in and hits it.
He kind of jump right by and it was daily again right there.
He's made some big plays saved.
The touchdown came in with the the block as well.
Daily.
The sophomore safety is really played.
Well for Northside here tonight.
Eagles, have a one-point lead as they go back on offense, early here in the second quarter.
Willie Jordan finally gets loose and Jordan gets a first down after the 35.
You only had six yards rushing on 6 carries in that first quarter.
He got 12 right there on his first Carry of the second.
Yeah.
Look at this here.
And again, he start to see both teams making some adjustments right here.
But again, that's a great move by Jordan, really just a big quick back.
He was hit in the backfield shedded that shed that tackler got rid of him 12 -yard gain first down for the Eagles will eat.
Jordan School record, 20 173 yards, rushing 31, rushing touchdowns 35 total touchdowns this season.
Swing the pass out here to Willie Jordan this time and he only gets one yard on the Play at just the 14th reception.
They don't use Willie Jordan quite that much in the passing game.
And I think that man as you mentioned they want to get the ball in his hands as much as possible.
You mentioned 40 carries last week in the semifinal win already here on this drive.
You get the His hands twice, its 242, every chance you get was he could do for him.
Willie Jordan 24/7, Sports composite three-star, number nine, a rated fullback in the entire nation getting looks from Georgia Southern and Cincinnati pass thrown complete.
The TJ Anderson first time they've been able to get the ball to t.j. Anderson and he's up to the 42-yard line going to bring up a third down and short TJ Anderson's that guy that coach Kevin Kinsler says Is it really kind of epitomizes the team at 5:10?
195?
Not a big-time College Prospect, but a really good.
High school football player.
Absolutely tackled.
Thereby for Lando.
Jordan, just a sophomore for Mays.
Nice job right there, to Corral and grab the jersey and not let go wait until help got here.
Kept me from getting the first down third down and four.
Looking for the first third down conversion and they will get it with the second effort by Tobias Oliver.
How about that?
Halla guy 160 moves the pile like that.
I don't know but he just did it.
That's a first down for Northside.
Give a little credit their number 79 Brandon Sandifer.
Watch this here at the end.
This is twice.
We've seen all of her with a nice run.
He stays on his feet right there.
That's impressive.
Great effort right there.
And look, it's look at me, 9, come on little guy.
I got you.
Okay, that's how the guy 160 gets an extra three yards.
The guy 332 grabs him, and pulls you.
That's right.
Willie, Jordan trying to shake loose on the tackle and you get the feeling now.
Jordan available to loosen him up a little bit.
He's a guy that if he can just get that one, extra step break that one tackle.
He might get himself a big one.
Yeah.
And watch number 50 right here.
He's the guy who's pulling right?
There goes out there, but definitely block anybody again, the maze.
Vince was so quick.
But I like that play call.
I think you're going to see that play call again here, later on here in the second half because that was one, that would have worked very well.
I think we've gotten a block on some other Jordan.
Now, nine carries 24 yards to bias Oliver this time gets snowed under by Xavier Lewis.
The Junior Tackle came in with 37.
Tackles on the season, has three more here tonight.
It's going to be third down and short as Northside starting to put things together offensively.
This is their first sustained Drive of the night after getting only.
22 yards of offense in the first quarter in averaging one and a half yards per play.
And a timeout called by Corey Jarvis in the mays Raiders.
So Northside We told you before their great history, the last 17 Seasons first under Conrad Nix, and continued under Kevin Kinsler, state champions in 2006 and 2007, their region Championship this year, their 14th, their Fifth and six years eight in 10 years and 12 of those 14 of come in the last 17 Seasons.
You see that record since 1998 and the Legendary Conrad Nix and two different stints there with Northside Warner Robins 241 and 52 and the eagles only one losing season in the last 24 years.
Just a great Sports Town in Warner Robins, obviously all the football success, the high school level and he had that kind of success on the prep level.
That means you got a good feeder program.
If you can to sustain that kind of success and they have that a Warner Robins.
First, the baseball team the league greatness a few years ago as well.
Kevin Kinsler leading the Eagles to his first state championship game.
As a head coach, was the defensive coordinator when they did it back in six and seven play gets blown dead.
Because a flag drops, the line of scrimmage see who Moved first.
Prior to the snap approachment by the offense.
Oh, so their third down and short to just became a third down and seven.
Sure.
If I've heard encroachment by the offense.
Usually, it's defense defense.
Italy.
The offense was lined up on the Walks out of the ball.
Anyway, five-yard penalty 30%, Don't let me get in the way of a good game.
Zone.
Read keeper by Oliver.
Oliver did not get away from Miles.
Reed.
Reed with his third tackle of the ball game.
In reads a number.
We've already called several times.
He and Marquez Daniels nice job here.
Tobias Oliver.
Pretty Shifty.
You said not very big but he's got a couple of nice runs, but that time he grabbed him and held on and it's 4th down the Eagles.
Have to pump.
So what was turning into a pretty good drive here for Northside stalls, especially after they get the five yard, encroachment penalty.
And now Alonzo standing at his 46 to kick.
Nice kick this time.
Going to hit at the 13 unable to down it.
Daily nearly was able to pin that thing inside the 5-yard line.
And here's a look at the mays Raiders.
Upset number one, where County the second round of the state playoffs did that on the road, by the way, just their second region title in 2003.
They've had eight coaches since 2000.
This is their first 12 win season ever and their first Finals appearance ever.
Now.
We've talked a lot about how they're trying to become the first Atlanta Public Schools since Southwest Atlanta to win a state championship.
Well, maze was born.
Out of Southwest Atlanta.
So there is the connection right there.
Southwest Atlanta was opened in 1950 and stayed open until 1981.
And when it closed mazed opened in a lot of these students that with the southwest Atlanta transitioned into Benjamin, Mays high school.
So while they're trying to become the first Atlanta Public School to win since Southwest Atlanta, the really kind of continuing in a way what Southwest Atlanta did back in.
In 73, John Milton's with us down on the side well and Matt to your point, you think about what the city of Atlanta means to football because you have all of the historic programs, you have Douglas and the impact that it's had but they could never get 2A title game.
You've had Booker T Washington who's had some runs as well and they could never get 2A title game.
So they're really flag bearers here tonight on a bunch of them.
False start on the offense five yard penalty, repeat third down.
Yeah, their flag Bears on a bunch of different levels and to see the community come out, whether it's the southwest Atlanta Community, the maze Community, the Old Harper Community.
The Harper Archer Community, all these different segments of Atlanta, Public School, football to come in and be a part of this.
It's been really cool to see Thanks, Nellie third down, and six.
Now after the false start penalty will maze at our whole close to rent rika's Davis.
What race?
Touchdown.
76 yards.
Well, that's a speed of maize that we've been talking about all nights.
When you take a look at again.
Just what this team does so much speed athleticism, one more look at on the TC.
S g, touchdown replay.
He's waiting waiting for him to clear the linebacker.
And at this point, you can forget about it.
He's gone, good speed in the secondary.
You see Dale.
He's got the closest one.
You know that, but he's not going to catch him.
And they're going to go for to Matt try to make up for that extra point was blocked, Not Unusual, maze has eight two-point conversions this season three running in five passing.
So this is something they're accustomed to doing.
And may just call the time out to talk it over.
So, a 76-yard touchdown pass play aderhold now with two touchdown passes in the game, really short passes and it was his receivers that turned them into big plays.
Yeah, watch this one more time.
And this is good Patience by aderhold.
And again, you want to try to get them all these guys into space.
Why don't we talked about so many times today already in this game Northside Warner Robins?
Can't afford to let maze make short plays in a big place and they did it again here.
That's just a short Crossing route.
Right there.
He takes it to get the ball into their hands and they're off and running and drink is Davis.
Only a junior very versatile.
You can play quarterback.
Play receiver and play running back for you six-foot 170 and boy, he's got wheels as you shall right there and Maize takes their first lead of the ball game here.
Stoppage of play actually.
Like it was Northside that Call that timeout, not may just corrected it, sixth touchdown of the season for Raintree, kiss, Davis, and his fourth receiving.
And that was exactly one of the things that Kevin Kinsler talk to us this week about they cannot let a six yard pass route become a 60 -yard touchdown that one became a 76-yard touchdown.
It's happened twice to him.
Both touchdowns.
Same kind of play.
Yep.
Behold going and the two -point conversion is dropped.
De Paris Carter at it and dropped it.
So may is get a 76-yard touchdown pass play, but cannot convert on the two yard pass play conversion.

Your plan into action.
May's leading, Northside Warner Robins 12-7 with 448 to play here in the first half.
Sonia aderhold with two touchdown passes of 19 yards to taishan Brown and 76 yards tours, and recast Davis.
Both of them, very short passes and he let his big play play makers, make the play.
He did.
He's a smart quarterback 62, senior good-sized injured earlier in the year and Coach Jarvis was saying really thinks, it made him a better quarterback to take a good.
Look at him, get the best head of hair.
But if we've ever seen I like that.
How do you play with hair?
That will take That's impressive.
You know, he's a good looking good looking quarterback, smart.
And again, you know, when you've got the kind of weapons on offense, you just got to make smart decisions and that's what he's done.
And he's got his team on up and leading on the scoreboard.
And a kickoff that goes straight up into the air and is fair caught.
At the 33-yard line, don't know that I've ever seen quite a kick on the just like that and make green made the fair Catch.
And so, the 34-yard line will be the field position here for Northside as they go back on offense and looking to get things unraveled here.
They started to do that a little bit out on their last drive.
As you take a look at this kick here.
That's my Jameson and he just popped that thing up.
Infield fly rule with a tree.
That's right.
I've seen those intentionally.
If you've got a Devin Hester at the goal line, waiting on you, but that wasn't to know that was not a Dinkins.
With his first Carry of the Sean taken to the first down for Northside.
That was a nice move right there, again, trying some different things.
On offense here.
Another good start to this one.
13-yard caring for this for Dinkins.
Watch this.
Push up front.
That's where it all starts.
Number 74, right there, with a great move.
That's Quinton stand for their your left guard.
He's the one just move that end away.
Moved him out of the way and created a big gap there for Dinkins, because that Mays defense.
So focused on Willie, Jordan getting the ball.
They were not expecting deacons to get it this time.
Jordan gets it, they got it covered.
Tobias little was the guy who struggled out and then Chauhan Williamson the guy who cleaned it up and they just a pursue.
So well, watch this again.
Just how they string this out to the left.
Look at him stains, when it stains with it, stains with it.
Look at the white shirts, all around, and then he goes down for five white shirts out there on the flat.
Very smart ball hogs on this.
Mays defense.
North side is not going to be able to run the edge here, against maze, at least unless something different happens that we haven't seen so far in this, Game, what they're going to have to do is what Kevin Kinsler told us.
They were going to have to do.
They're gonna have to mix it up a little bit.
They're going to have to throw the ball.
So Totally agree.
That's what they're going to try to do right here.
Got a man open and Miss team.
Oh my goodness.
TJ Anderson was open right idea.
Bad execution.
Yeah.
That was Ed one more.
Look at this.
Just watch how open he is the linebackers, all freeze him right there 9 and 11.
They all freeze.
Right here.
And there you go.
That's well.
Kevin Kinsler said we use our play-action.
It's a play-action play right there.
They were looking for the Run.
TJ Anderson was open, but you gotta hit the open, man.
Oliver, just a software as you mentioned.
Fairly new playing at starting at quarterback for this team.
That's won.
I know, he'd like to have back.
Well, he became the starting quarterback the winds day before the season opener against North Kyle.
Going to run it here.
And I spin.
Brought down at the 50 yard line after about a three-yard gain the trez Patrick with his fourth tackle and Tobias Louis or little.
Pardon me in on that tackle as well.
I do like Oliver's a loose ability when he very elusive, when he when he does run.
The ball hasn't been very often but a great spin move right there.
That's just just Instinct and talent.
Grab the helmet, there.
Some of the watch this one more time.
One more.
Look at this.
Yeah.
It's not a horse collar.
It's not a horse collar.
And not a face mask.
So the back of the helmet.
Yep.
It's a legal play.
So forth down here and high snap Alonzo has to go and get it and got rid of it takes a bad bounce for Northside rolling back upfield.
And so maze.
Will have it at the 32 following just a 17 yard kick, poor snap.
And Alonzo, saved their bacon right there.
John Nelson, what you got?
All right, you look at the East stands.
It wasn't much of a surprise that the orange and blue are going to be here in full force, but the students can think Avery Jones class.
So the 1997 for three thousand dollars worth of tickets and bus fare.
So a lot of students were having to pay $18 ahead and have to pay for a bus ride up from Warner Robins Avery Jones of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Help them out.
And that's why you see that Eastern stands is filled.
As they are with a lot of students who are using a lot of paint on their bodies.
Yeah.
Good job Avery.
Great sport.
First and Ten from maze from the 33 aderholt given time.
Lots of time.
For aderhold it breaks down.
Now, he has to get rid of it, good job of coverage, downfield by Northside, nobody open because aderhold had plenty of time to find somebody.
Second down and ten coming up for Maze maze finished in a three-way tie.
For first in division, B of region 6.
With Carver Atlanta and Creekside.
They had to beat Miller Grove in their region, play in game, and week number 10 of the regular season, just to get into the state, playoffs passes thrown complete to the Paris, Carter break.
Kwan-yuen making his first tackle of the ball game.
Maite of the champion tonight is going to be determined if it's not defensive stores or to go to score on offense with plays just like that.
Both teams.
You're such good Rush by Bolt.
He's up front.
Get the ball out of to your Playmakers hands.
Carter right there gets to gain.
To see more of that on both sides.
Dropped by Rodriguez Davis, who the last time he touched the ball.
Went 76 yards for the touchdown this time.
We'll just go back to the sideline.
It's a shorter run for one more.
Look at this again.
Nice idea, fake the handoff freezing, the linebackers little too hard to come out of the gun there for aderhold.
So Bobbie Spencer who's had a really good night, punting the ball stands at his 27 and Hound who has not done a very good job of Fielding Punk's, but has not been burned by at least not yet stands at the 23.
This time he wisely stays away from it.
So the north side goes on offense from the 19-yard line, following the 42 yard kick by Spence last five playoff appearances.
Under Kevin Kinsler made it to the semis twice where County and Tucker Camden County lost in the finals as packed when Conrad Nix was the head coach.
That was their last finals appearance.
Oliver dumps it all, Jordan Out of Bounds at the 26-yard line, pick up a seven on the play.
My life with are trying to do here Maddie take a look at again.
The Lyman watch number 50 right here.
He frees up.
He kind of gets held up a little bit here by the block there on the offensive line, but he supposed to go out there and break out.
That's a great play call again to get your playmaker, Jordan get them out into space, nice game and to see that play again.
Later on Jordan, one of 40 seniors on this Northside roster pass thrown incomplete.
Taishan Fentress the intended, target.
And now it's going to be third down and short but of those 40 seniors on the roster 39.
I've been in the program since ninth grade and Kevin Kinsler says, that's really the big reason why we are where we are here tonight playing for the state championship, great leadership from that senior class and really, not a big surprise that north side is playing on the big stage this evening.
Mais, on the other hand.
They're surprised.
Oliver runs for the first Down and Out of Bounds at the 32 yard line stopping the clock with a Buck 22 left in the half again.
I know it's not something that he wants to do.
It's not really what they had planned to do.
But you know what, this is open for you.
Why not?
And again, Tobias Oliver did not become the starting quarterback for Northside until the Wednesday before, the North Cobb game.
That's because the intended starting quarterback, the number one German Weaver had to undergo an appendectomy that through Oliver into the starting role to.
By the time, German was cleared to play to bias was playing so well, they just kept him there but we were at wide receiver.
Oliver airs it out intercepted by Williamson.
At the 38-yard line that ball just had too much air underneath it, and started floating like a kite and Williamson, just camped under and pulled it down.
Yeah, again, I like the idea what they were trying to accomplish here.
But the safety sitting right back there as you mentioned in Williams and one more, look at this.
Trying to hit his receiver deep.
Sixth interception of the season for Jomon Williamson and for the mays Raiders their 27th pick of the Season as a team.
They have now forced 44 turnovers a season.
That's impressive.
Very impressive what this team has done.
To get her to the Georgia Dome House in time with the clock.
Yeah.
Now, if your Northside, you got to be careful.
Because maze is already shown you there.
Big play ability and they don't have to strive hard, a false start offense, five -yard penalty, first down and Larry.
They don't have to strike deep.
They just got to get it to one of their Playmakers in space and let us speed take over.
That's the thing.
You don't have to see a play.
Like we just saw there from all over.
We got to go downfield, 30 -yard.
You're exactly right.
If you can make the eight yard pass to the crossing receiver and you've got the other receivers blocking, and they're more than happy to do that.
Big things will happen and that's how they've been able to make that somebody big plays here in this playoff.
Run to get to the title.
Game Langford gets the handoff first Carry of the night for Durante, Langford.
Only 122 yards rushing on the season 12 catches, but a guy that Corey Jarvis said was probably their MVP during the regular season, because he could play wide receiver running back.
Wildcat quarterback.
They use him for so many different roles.
Under 50 seconds to play in the half adder, hold with time.
Finds a man in space and that's Langford for a first down.
Had he been able to keep it?
Keep his feet.
He would probably got another 10 yards.
Yeah, 16-yard of past play, their mats one more, look at this.
Again.
That's what we're talking about in the keep in mind, again.
He's got this big beefy line.
The smallest guy goes 305, so he's got a bunch of 300-pound guys in front of him.
That's why is so much time to sit back and wait for the receivers to clear.
I was a great patient play, right there quarterback to receiver.
They made eye contact.
He saw him on the Run broke away from his detainers.
Under nice pass on the run to thread the needle, and keep it away from the defender, get into his hands and get into Eagle territory.
Let's check the call here, stopping the clock with 28 seconds.
And Maze does have two timeouts remaining.
Prior to the snap and illegal substitution.
Offense 5-yard, penalty.
Doc Roe be our referee illegal substitution penalty against North Side.
Fortunately, they don't have the, the clock run off rule here.
They wouldn't put the time back on the clock here for May.
So it's running again.
Aderholt fires and complete at the 28 yard line.
The taishan brown, pitches may bring up a 15-yard gain.
Their mats is may bring up again the big kicker Jean Anderson who's 6, 6 3 8, and maybe the biggest place kicker and the history of football.
Certainly.
I think the history of Georgia high school football.
We're getting into his range.
Now for a field goal attempts.
Corey.
Jarvis says 45 yards.
Keenan Anderson might be able to hit.
It said they go for the End Zone, the hands of Rodriguez, Davis with 11 seconds to play in the half.
Well again, when you look at how to hold and the time he gets back there.
Just watch this.
Hmm.
So close.
But he's got the confidence right now.
He knows.
He's got all kinds of time.
You can wait for these receivers.
You just pick which guy is open.
And again, maze has two timeouts remaining, which means they have the luxury of throwing in the middle of the field.
They can use a timeout to get a field goal unit on the field.
If that's what they're inclined to do here.
Erotic Lankford nothing to do.
It's going to burn a timeout here and they do with seven seconds to play in the half.
Tried to catch Northside thinking pass and north side was there to swallow it up.
Nice defensive play there.
Use your right.
You're thinking in that situation.
Let's see.
There.
He is.
Its number 75 is you were looking for 75 as keen and Anderson you mentioned earlier.
He's committed to Florida, am by the way, FAMU back in the 90s had Wally Williams was an offensive.
Lineman, who did some punting?
Before he went on to play offensive line in the NFL the Cleveland Browns.
So going to a program and FAMU there he is 75.
That doesn't mind having an alignment step back and kick.
I don't know if he's gonna do that down in Tallahassee.
You're not well tonight.
They had the Their season on the line against Jones County in the quarterfinals isn't the only home playoff game that they had in this, you know for game run to get to the Georgia Dome Jones County down to the final play.
They are down.
They're losing by 3 4138.
Instead of trying to kick a field goal.
They went for the touchdown on the final play.
At her whole completed a 17 -yard past Julius Whitehead As Time expired and they won the game.
4441 and Corey Jarvis was asked.
Why didn't you go for the field goal.
There you go.
I didn't think we'd make it.
So he made the right call and it looks like he doesn't think they're going to make a field goal here either because they're going for the seven seconds to play in the half times going to run out.
This is the final play of the half.
He's got a man open TouchDown.
Brent Regus Davis.
Oh my goodness.
Northside.
Let him slip him behind the defense.
He was standing alone in the back of the end zone and shades of Jones County all over again.
Except.
This is the end of the first half, a touchdown As Time expires in the second quarter and it's 6:42 tcsg replay right here as we talked about aderhold all kinds of time.
Look at this again.
He's got the time, wait for somebody to get open it.
Northside Warner Robins, you've got to stay accountable for all these speed, guys who can get a chance to go and catch a ball for you, and the Maze crowd right now.
You can hear really coming alive.
I'll be here on the opposite side behind the sidelines, if they're going to go for two.
Now again, try to close.
Try to make this a 13-point game to Carter, jump ball.
He caught it, but out of bounds.
So, the two-point conversion, fails or baby.
He didn't even catch it either.
Away what?
The matter he was out of bounds, but what a finish to the half of the mays Raiders, a 29-yard touchdown pass from a Sonia.
Aderhold tours and reaches daiva.
Second time.
They've teamed up for a score here in the first two quarters and Maze as an 18 to 7 lead on North side as they head to the locker room.
Just a nice touch right here, two veteran guys, at a hold of senior Davis, did Junior.
Well done down to Jon Nelson and Corey Jarvis.
Thank you very much.
Matt Jones County luck, all over again, except it was the end of the first half.
Yeah, I'll quarterback, you know, he's a strong kid and, you know, he's doing a good job right now for us defensively, you're keeping Jordan and that high-powered running game in.
Check the key from your perspective, is what pressure?
Just in general.
Well, I think you know, we got to make sure that we keep hitting them, you know, he's a big kid and he's a strong running and we just got to make sure that we keep hitting him and then when we get a chance in wrap up, Quarterback contain them because he's a heck of an athlete.
We got to just got to make sure that we contain them as well actually time.
Corey.
Thank you.
Send it over to the set because the halftime show with Mark and Raven starts right now.
Thank you very much.

And he'll take me 20 minutes to get the card because my fingernails never work.
Here we go, question.
Number two, which I have not seen.
Therefore.
I don't know the answer.
Which of these names did A Christmas.
Carol author.
Charles Dickens not consider for the character Tiny.
Tim.
Was it a little Larry P. Puny Pete's.
See small Sam, or D diminutive Dave, you know, our drum major out there went on Jeopardy.
So he could probably do better than I but I'm going to guess that's true story actually, but I'm going to go with puny Pete be diminutive Dave.
Who to know who'da thought and the production crew, had a hard time with it to so across the board.
You're far smarter than we are.
Thanks for hanging out, being a good sport.
Thank you very much.
Good to see you.
I'll send it back over the set miniscule.
Mark could have been a name in Dickens his character book.
True could have been fed a bit.
All right, let's check out the scores from today.
And for tomorrow coming up first off the first Champion.
Crown today was Hawkinsville.
They need Irwin County in the single a public school championship.
5:45.
The three.
A game was outstanding.
Both teams were undefeated coming.
Calhoun wins the 3A Championship 27 to 28.
And in this five a game.
It is maze leading Northside Warner Robins Eagles 18:7.
That's right in tomorrow.
We'll kick things off variety and early at 10 a.m. And it starts off with the single a private school championship game.
It's Eagle's Landing.
Christian Academy taking on my parent and then in double A Benedictine taking on Greater Atlanta Christian and in for a, the Buford wolves are looking for their eleventh state title against st. Pius.
And in 6A Archer.
Our first time here for a State title win in the golden raisins 2009.
They'll be taken onto team that's been here before and that's the Colquitt County Packers.
You know, that game is going to be just an outstanding game Colquitt comes in.
They're undefeated.
They're 14 and oh, they're ranked number one, but the Archer Tigers we've had them on GPB football, Fridays in Georgia.
They are red-hot.
They won 11 games in a row and their last three games.
They scored over 50 points.
That should make for some interesting football out on the field, you know, do it really.
That's okay.
John, Almost there.
He's coming in and just a minute for another John's Georgia, but that's six a game.
Lot of people are watching that coach Rush Propst is than just a sensational job since he took over down there in Moultrie Colquitt.
County's fans are rabid there.
Just just very excited about their team, making it all the way to the Georgia, Dome for the final.
So, we're going to have to see what happens there.
Absolutely.
And it's always fun to watch coach, birds, and interviews.
I don't know.
I always enjoy that member interviewed him a few times and like, enjoy talking to him.
It's funny.
You never know.
If you're gonna get the excited guy or made like down to business.
But a little bit of variation of Everything.
All right.
Well now let's bring in John Nelson.
The author of four books.
Two on high school football in the great state of Georgia a segment.
We call Jon's Georgia brought to you by Georgia, EMC.
And today, John is going to talk to one of my favorite guide and the winningest coach in Georgia history.
And it's his first year of not coaching High School football in Lincolnton, and Lincoln County since 1970.
We caught up with Larry Campbell, who's taking it a little easier these days than he has to last for decades.
477 wins first year 1972, the only year the now-retired Larry Campbell had a losing season in Lincolnton, but for the 11 time, state champ, third winningest coach in US history.
They always say whoever they happened to be that, you know, when it's time and he did but I don't know.
It just got to a point away.
I decided I didn't want to go through spring practice.
And if you don't want to get through spring practice, that is a key thing.
If you're not looking forward to Spring practice, you may not have time to get out and for the first time ever and I just was not looking forward to Spring practice the team long time.
Defensive coordinator.
Kevin Banks has went through the standard Growing Pains, but are heading into this week's game with Aquinas at six and two Coach Campbell has faith in, what his Red Devils will be down the road under coach Kevin, as he's replacing Larry Legend, but we got a good football team.
Not great this year, but better.
Probably better than average and for shutting that intense cry group that I was looking forward to coaching and he will turn things around Coach, Campbell took a Lincoln County coaching job, fresh out of school.
And on his way to his honeymoon.
There are a lot of coaches out there that would like to have this one on speed dial.
So let's take some advice to Heart.
What advice would you give the young up-and-coming head coaches?
So they can have the longevity in the success that you've had.
First of all, be yourself.
Don't try to be Leah, camera, or damp.
It's or Nick hotter.
Be yourself, be comfortable.
And and the position you had visited other programs is having success and try to stay up with what what's going on offensive and defensively and and go to the college's, the way you can you know weekends and things.
When colleges accept you they're so much easier and they have and what they used to.
They really welcome you to come visit him and And decide what's best for your program and live and die with it.
See the catch up with coach and we talked about having him on speed dial.
Look, who's got him on speed, dial would be beat.
Alright, that's Jon's Georgia brought to you by Georgia EMC.
All right.
Go back to the halftime, how Raven Northside Warner Robins ban has taken the field, their sights and sounds are presented by Regions Bank.
Now, let's send it over to Grace Olson for another.
Of rent.
Check Okay, we're back.
This is rent.
Check.
This is where we quiz the parents on their athlete.
Well, they know them right now, I've got Jim and Debbie and Riley.
This is the family of sorry.
Nate Greene with Northside Warner Robins guys.
Thank you so much for joining us.
We're going to show a couple photos of Nate when he was a little boy playing football and I you told me that he was five when he scored his first touchdown, right?
That's right.
Well, he was quarterback neat, scored his first touchdown.
Yes, he ran for it himself.
So great.
We've got there.
Now.
Let's get to our trivia.
The first question is, what is his favorite Northside football tradition?
Like what they sing the alma mater after this, the game, when they win.
And they go down to the field and everybody things and he just loves that Miss.
Great.
Everybody stays for the after the game for that.
You're exactly right.
And his favorite NFL player, brother.
You answer this one.
Mr. Walker Wes.
Welker with the Patriots.
Good work and over to Dad.
What does he want to improve on most before he leaps high school and goes to college.
I don't know public speaking public speaking, man.
You got.
He can come work with us.

All right, let's bring in the t-shirts.
You got it, right.

Welcome back, Georgia Dome getting ready for the second 4:36.
A title game, maze leading north side, 18 7 at the break, getting ready for the third here with Coach Kinsler.
Obviously, you talked to his during the week, about not having big little plays.
Get two big plays but that did happen for those two scores.
Yeah, we gave up two big plays on the same play and you know just a guy one guy gets out of position here there we miss a tackle, you know, just gave up big plays.
I thought our defense was playing well till right there, you know, offense wasn't getting on track and we gave up a couple of big plays now.
A hole and we're going to have to come out swinging.
All right, go swing.
Thank you, send it upstairs for highlights stats and stuff guys.
Take it away.
Alright, Nellie exactly coach.
Kevin kinsler's worst nightmare the small play turning into the big play really damaged nor side in the first record.
Yeah.
It really did.
I mean, you think about it.
The only score the Northside got, was that defensive touchdowns.
We take a look at some of the first half highlights on this one.
They were the ones that struck first.
Right here on the tip ball here, by aderhold right there, great defensive play and the right place, right?
Right time takes it all the way in for the touchdown Jalen Kendrick, almost had another one Matt.
But then, as you mentioned, the short play and debate glaze, it did it.
They did this time and time again.
Tyshaun Brown.
That's a 19 yard reception.
Then they had the extra point blocked that it up chasing that extra point.
The two-point conversions twice more in failed both times same play.
They ran to taishan Brown, they run to range weakest Davis and he takes 76 yards from yeah.
And again just the speed we talked about again concerned.
May's have got great speed on both sides of the ball, and then the final play of the first half, what momentum going into halftime right here?
Aderhold all kinds of time finds Davis in the back of the end zone.
You can't let him go and that's there was Miss two-point conversion, the end of the first half, theremin 18:7 our score at the half.
Yeah, big plays.
2007 in the passing game from Maize in the first two quarters and they've held Northside 274 yards rushing 92.
Total yards and Kevin Kinsler told us this.
He said they were gonna have to mix it up.
They're going to have to mix in the past.
Now.
It's going to be more difficult for them to mix in the past because they're down two touchdowns.
Yeah, it is and you look at that one.
Number was going to point out, only 18 passing yards there in the first half.
They're going to have to get more of that.
The question is what that speed on the maze defensive side.
Can they get it done too?
Tall task for Northside Warner Robins and Maize now just two quarters away from rewriting.
The history books in Atlanta Public Schools.
Not since 1973 has an Public School won a football state championship.
And that was the predecessor to Benjamin, Mays High School Southwest, Atlanta, High School, and now maze just 24 minutes away from adding their name to the history, books and time.
Now for our gobuildgeorgia .com.
Second half kickoff, learn a skill.
Build a career, do it now at gobuildgeorgia.com.
Northside has to go back and get it Weaver, still on his feet and Ramon Weaver, finally driven Out of Bounds at the 23-yard line near disaster, right?
There is north side was playing short on the kickoff and had to go back and get it.
So now the Eagles on offense and let's see what they've exited known, what they've schemed up here at halftime to try to get this offense going format.
And also the special teams on for What side is really been playing with fire and seemed to punt returns nearly fumble that they got the ball back managed to avoid that.
But now again, what adjustments at halftime.
Can you make here to get around the speed and athleticism?
This Mays defense Willie, Jordan gets the first Carry of the third quarter, not a big surprise there driven Out of Bounds at the 27 yard line after a pick up of four on the play Williamson the safety, making his fourth, tackle of the ball game.
You mentioned before in the first half, we saw Jordan, actually on the receiving end of a ball.
We don't see that very often.
But again, as you pointed out in the pregame 40 carries the semifinal win last week and he's somebody's, you mentioned School record, 20 175 yards.
Rushing.
We're going to see a lot of touches from Jordan.
The if there'd it to get into this game and get back on the scoreboard.
They gave him five on that first play.
So 28 yards rushing for Willie, Jordan so far in this ballgame and let me remind you that last week and their semifinal win against Alex.
Sooner 231 yards rushing on 40 carries and over 2,100 yards rushing for the season.
So Mays has done a tremendous job of bottling up Willie Jordan who averages?
155 yards?
Rushing per game.
It's third down and short now for the Eagles.
Pitch Weaver, it's the first out.
First time we've seen them run the Veer offense and pitched the Weaver.
And it gets him a purse down as a nice play right here all over.
We talked about again.
He doesn't like to run much.
But when he does, he does a nice job.
Good pitch right there.
Good decision.
Great blocking as well right there.
By number 28, Douglas Tuggle to try to stay in the keep the defender at Bay.
There's a good enough job to get the first down First, and Ten ball at the 35 yard line.
Willie Jordan breaks out to the 50-yard line, 15 yard, pickup for Willie Jordan.
Great job by Jordan.
But by the way, one correction.
That was John Johnson number 28 for Warner Robins.
Watch this here again.
Just a great hole right there.
Look at the great block up there in the line to create that space outstanding job.
And you know, what?
Right now the Eagles coming out strong with back-to-back first downs, that's a positive total coincidence.
Coach Kinsler, says, that Willie, Jordan, great job of leadership, he and Sandifer in that senior class.
This year, is this time?
They've got Jordan stopped at the line of scrimmage.
Mitch Marques Daniels making the tackle, his third of the Ballgame, but great job of senior leadership in the weight room by Willie Jordan and Brandon Sandifer, when the rest of those players, see their two stars in there, busting it in the weight room.
Just a great example, set to the rest of the team.
Sandifer right there.
The 330-pound offensive lineman headed to play the Florida.
Gators Oliver.
No one picks him up and he's got a first down at the 40 yard line.
We start to look at this right now, and Northside only seven first downs in the entire first half.
They've got.
I think that's the third one here.
Very quickly.
And of, in the third quarter, on the opening drive, Oliver everyone, looking at Jordan and the running backs, nice move.
They're on the Run Jordan for carries for 21 yards on this drive alone after 10 carries for 23 yards in the first half.
Total.
First and Ten, for the Eagles at the 41 strong opening drive nothing doing on that carry right there.
As Oliver got grabbed by the ankles, by Rutherford shahim Rutherford, Sam linebacker a couple of tackles here tonight Ninety Six tackles on the season for Rutherford.
Who had 59 205 is really more of a safety playing linebacker.
Not a delay.
The play clock was at three.
Prior to the snap false start offense.
Be second down.
So Oliver trying to make it change, inaudible there at the line.
And you'll remember Larry back in that first half when Northside put together their first sustained Drive of the half.
They had at third down and about to and got a false start penalty, that killed the drive and now they get a false start penalty here.
The read by Oliver keeper by Oliver, Oliver ball, still loose.
I'm a says they have it.
But the officials say north side does, what?
We're we're look at this right here, all over again on the keeper.
Doing a nice job.
You got to put the ball away right here.
Does that spin move?
He does so many times.
It gets popped on the back side, right there.
Look right there.
She heat Rutherford with the hit to knock the ball, loose one more.
Look at it.
Actually, I think actually keep us from ago, was, you're right.
And I believe TJ Anderson saved more side right there by being in the right place at the right time.
He was on the ground in the ball fell right at him third down and short Jordan stiff on trying to get to the edge will not be able to do it.
Nice, open field Tackle by the corner.
Mon Cuevas Brinson who's been offered by Kentucky.
Just a junior.
Nice tackle.
Fourth down.
One more look right here again.
Nice call.
But again looking at just the speed.
You can see there.
You've got your your guard pulling trying to make the block but maze is so quick up front that he can't get there in time.
It's a well-designed play and the player has done that before the Lyman but that just gives give credit to the species at speed.
That means has on defense.
We were in motion, fourth down, Movement by North Side.
Wow.
Just a killer, these penalties.
Go straight out of burner, snap false, start offense.
So it was already fourth and three.
Now, it's Fourth and eighth and you're going to punt right here.
You have no alternative.
You see coach Kinsler since that happened call for his punt team.
That's frustrating those little things.
You, boy.
You've been on the move.
He blew the ball.
Really, really?
Well, what?
You're one of the better drives you've had on offense this entire game.
Not set at twice.
The to sustain drives.
They've had in this game.
They've killed with penalties at the line of scrimmage.
Just ticky-tack penalties.
And Alonzo stands back at his 48, to kick.
High snap again.
Alonzo has to go.
Get it quick.
Kicks it out of there.
And Northside has a chance to drop them inside the five.
And they do nicely executed Alonzo's twice, had to get up there and save a high snap and this time he executes it perfectly is 38.
Yard.
Kick is going to pin maze at the tube.
Yeah.
Nice job.
Right here.
This has been weight.
And as you said he's saying of a couple of times.
Look at that angle.
Great camera work right there with the defender coming right into alonso's face.
Getting that away.
Nice job.
Right here, by daily.
Really impressed with him.
Just the instinct to run to the one yard line.
Like you're taught to do, turnaround?
Find the ball.
Make sure it doesn't get passed you in there.
See if the Northside Warner Robins defense can make a stand right here.
This is where North Side needs to get a turnover.
Their defense needs to do more than make a stand.
They need to get the ball tackle made by yacht Jones on the carry by Tyler.
Not much doing right there, sucking down.
You see that big offensive line, 71, Malik Mackey, 66 Mason Sims.
72, James English, 75 keen and Anderson.
Of course, Dallas Warmack is the prize on that offensive line.
The number nine, read it offensive guard in the country up top.
They go to Carter.
He's got it.
Another big play by the maze offense.
Well, you saw one on one coverage up there mad and took advantage of it.
41-yard gain on this.
Watch.
This is Carter right here.
Number 12 and watch him right here.
This is just a straight Sprint.
Brent's right out.
Chris Haughton got to step on him and it was over 41-yard.
Gain.
What a big, big play for the Raiders.
Carter averages just under 21 yards per catch and that was just a case of.
Let me run down the sideline because I can beat this corner and you throw the ball up there and I'll go get it.
Something here.
We've got the quarterback aderhold was out on the out of the slot.
And they were going to run look like the just a wildcat.
They're going to stay in that with a wildcat.
That's aderhold there at the top.
Yeah, with r and recast Davis lined up at the Wildcat quarterback.
The first time we've seen this look.
Davis after the five-yard Markoff, against maze close to the original line of scrimmage.
Chris hot and are on the stop it, done this a little bit Davis with, 197 yards rushing and a couple of touchdowns on the ground this season and now they've got aderhold back out there in the shotgun.
Nothing new one right there, big tackle by cam Burnett the Mike linebacker.
Stuck Rome artists Bell for a short gain, third down and long coming up.
Tyree way of is there as well.
Watch this, just a great move right here.
Avoids, the tackler.
I was a Anderson if it's slow to get out there and make that block.
But you know, despite that play.
They didn't get much right there.
This maze offense right now and it looks really, really confident since that late score to end the first half.
They have looked very confident much different than what they looked in the first two or three series of the game.
Pump fake.
Got, Carter cannot connect.
That would have been a touchdown and you see hot and just collapsed to his knees because he knows he just got saved.
By the governor right there.
He got beat badly.
That's right.
I mean, he just he got that call right before they split the switch because he got burned.
He was happy that they didn't connect.
Yeah.
Well, I think that the maze coaching staff clearly, they see something in that one -on-one matchup over there and they're going to see.
I mean, look like you said, if we saw one big play, one connection that was almost six more right there.
Try to deliver a knockout punch Spence who's had a really good night punning.
This is kind of a dead ball.
Punk, bounces backwards.
This is the first time he really has not kicked the ball well tonight.
And so North Side will take over at the 30-yard line.
And now we're down to four and a half minutes to play in the third quarter.
Northside down 11 time will start becoming a factor shortly.
Twice before Crossing you exercise, you choose the salad occasionally, but when it comes to staying well physically financially emotionally going, it alone is hard to Signal.
Has your back and your knees 24/7 and sickness and in health, answering your questions giving you some coaching helping you get.
Well.
Stay one that's having a partner as with you all.
The way Cigna.
Kevin Kinsler has got his team in the state finals for the first time since he's become the head coach and they're down 11.
Corey Jarvis, his team 16 and a half minutes away from winning the state championship for the first time in school history and Corey Jarvis coming off a humbling experience.
Had great.
Success at ML.
King is first head coaching job at ML.
King won 49 games, just 11 losses.
In Five Seasons.
Took the head coaching job at Duluth.
And Corey will tell you says, well, I thought I could coach, he thought I could coach anybody.
And when anywhere, and Duluth, they'd won only two games in the Years, prior to him, taking over.
He won, 12 games there.
They went 12 and 18.
He said I learned one thing.
I'm a good coach, but you got to have good players or enough good player.
That's right.
Don't want to say they didn't have good with didn't have enough.
Good ones maze.
He's got a lot of good books.
They flicker man.
Open green.
Confidence.
So dads are six for the Eagles.
What?
A great play mat right there.
You, we talked about again.
He got to get something going.
Reach deep into your playbook, trying to find something on the board.
And they did.
Just that using the decoy, on the Flea, Flicker the running back.
Everyone's watching things.
It's a run.
Tcsg touchdown replay, watch this everyone watching the Jordan of course.
Look at this.
Look at the got.
Everyone's moving forward.
Look everyone all other players for Mays moving forward after the run.
One, play, 70 yards and there.
It is.
Nate Greene talk to his parents, Grace, talk to his parents at halftime.
Just a little bit proud.
There's some scoring the touchdown to get the Eagles back in this game.
That's getting ready to say some rent.
Check Magic by Grace Olson.
That's right.
And Alonzo with the p80 to make it 18 to 14.
And guess what?
Northside Warner Robins is back in the game, folks, the Flea Flicker, caught maze, unawares, 70 yards, Oliver with just his seventh touchdown.
Pass.
The season.
All green had to do is not fall down.
That's right, and he didn't Great play.
Great reaction.
Look at coach Jarvis.
Hey, coach Kinsler.
Got you on that one coach.
Kim said not so fast.
That's right.
This one's not over just yet.
They all of a sudden.
We've got a ballgame.
Now 1814.
It's just a great play call Nate Greene.
The senior one of the 40 seniors on this roster.
Just his second touchdown reception of the season.
Look at this mad again and watch this very quickly and the key this you have to sell it and then you got to defend guys in the backfield right there, green.
All by himself, the senior, what a play, you know, I really love both coaches, reaching in deep and seeing something at that works.
Here.
They tried some things early on, couldn't get anything going as their first offensive.
Touchdown of the game.
We've seen on the other side.
Where maze again, see something with Carter in the one-on-one matchup with Alton trying to exploit that what a great play here.
It's what makes high school football.
So much fun.
But do you adjust the Ingenuity of the coaching staff and the players to come together and make something happen?
From the 20 yard line taishan brown.
Hi, Sean Brown, after the short, kick returns at 18 yards to the 38 and that's where maze goes back on offense and now maze.
They had that comfortable 11 -point lead.
They seemed like they were in control of the ball game.
They could pretty much do whatever they wanted to.
They could hit the big play and now they've got some pressure on them.
They can't go three and out now.
Yeah, absolutely.
Now, it's a ballgame because, you know what?
There are other tricks of Coach Kinsler sleeve.
I'm sure that people in Vale here, the second half and plus now you can get back to running Willie.
Jordan son.
That's right.
Because now you planted a seed that we might do something camber.
Ned on the tackle of Tyler six tackles for big can Bernadette just a sophomore, Kevin Kinsler says scary.
The think just how good this guy's going to be in the next couple of years.
Yeah, outstanding play right there.
Burnett another big boy.
You said just a sophomore?
You know, you scored and kind of gets everyone else.
Even though the defense they get fired up, aderhold got away from the sack, Isaiah Johnson had him and he ends up throwing it out of bounds Johnson had a clean shot at him and couldn't get him on the ground, but it is an incomplete now.
Third down and nine.
Yeah, one more.
Look at this, again.
How about this?
After the big TouchDown for Northside Warner Robins now, back-to-back, beat defensive plays.
We, you know, had her whole outlook has been touched the entire.
Game yet.
He had to run for his life on that.
One brings up third and long.
Now for the Raiders, good job by aderhold not to be taken to the ground by the big 275, Isaiah Johnson, and her whole downfield, intercepted off the hands of taishan brown and then off the hands of Chris, right?
Big play right there.
I'm trying to try to think of the last time that they went three announce.
I'm sure they have since the first quarter, one more look at it.
Again, boy.
The tip balls north side is Justin.
They've already they picked off one tip ball.
Ran it back.
They've had chances a to others.
And couldn't quite well with it.
Great defensive Series right here, the last third and out from Maize was back late in the second quarter.
So again, nice effort here by the Northside defense Boston from the 30 ends up back at the 28, yard line, the open field tackle right there by the mays.
Raiders Samuel Lee.
31 yards on the punt.
Now, north side with 324 to play here in the third quarter, and back in the Ballgame.
Let's see.
If they get back to their grounded, out defendant or rather, grounded out offense, have not been able to run the ball.
Like typically they are accustomed to averaging 332 per game on the ground.
See, if that trick play loosened up the mays defense just a little bit.
They got eight in the box.
So not too loose and Jordan runs right into the arms of Tobias.
Little Just a couple of yards right there.
Look at that.
Count them.
55 on the front line, three on the next line.
That's eight in the box.
They're going to do that as much as they can right now.
And again, that's how they got the touchdown Warner Northside Warner Robins because all those players all bunched up and they were all moving forward on the fake run.
Before was Pitch back to Oliver for the touchdown test.
Second down, Oliver as a pitch man keeps it himself out to the 50 18 yards for Tobias Oliver and now North Side, got the offense cranked up and rolling a took this out again.
We like this right here.
Thanks right there to Anderson, keeps it himself.
Everyone's so focused on these running backs for the Eagles as we've got an injured player now, on the field for maize high school and that's the last thing.
Maze needs is another defensive player down.
And another linebacker as well.
At that.
That's Kashi.
Actually, it says Xavier Lewis with 38.
Xavier Lewis has had a pretty active game here tonight with three tackles.
So they're looking at him right now, Georgia Outdoors gpb's Emmy award-winning nature series hosted by Sharon Collins explores, the beauty of our state, through all four seasons of its glory and find out about Georgia's remarkable natural habitats in the efforts to protect them, Georgia Outdoors Sundays at 7:30 on GPB new episodes.
I mean next month.
So Xavier Louis able to get to the sidelines on his own two feet.
Hopefully he's okay.
But as Larry mentioned, Evan price the starting Mike linebacker MRI on Thursday.
He was thought to be questionable.
And of course, Brian Jackson, his backup tore his ACL late in the stock bridge game, filling in for price, and they lost their starting strong.
Safety.
Charlie.
Patrick a torn MCL is in that picture of the Stockbridge as well Tobias.
Oliver B.
A big chunk out of that.
Mays defense and down inside the 25.
Well, I tell you what, really right now, they found something in Tobias.
Oliver on the 25 yard run.
Here's another.
Look at it Oliver again.
Everyone is always going to watch George.
And the thing is, this means defense is so fast.
They're heading right past it.
They're running, they're running right by him and he's pretty quick.
No, he's tall and thin just a sophomore.
We talked about that coach Kinsler told us they might have to run right at the mays defense than try to run around them.
And Willie Jordan nowhere to go for Willie.
Jordan is not res.
Patrick makes his sixth tackle of the ball game.
Yeah, what's it?
Look inside?
Their kind of all the white shirts, eight men Inside the Box.
Corey Jarvis says, Patrick probably the quickest kid off the ball that I've ever seen.
One hundred percent effort, guy.
Got to be really special for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Here's the number for rated defensive end.
In the class of 2015, that's for the nation, folks.
And a timeout called by north side.
Play clock was down to zero and the coaches bailed out Tobias Oliver.
Now they had trouble communicating their, in the Huddle and get even one in in position.
Check in with John Nelson, on the sideline here, on the maze side.
It is a big case.
It is the largest case of positive reinforcement that I have heard.
In a long time, the coaching staff, specifically reminding the offensive line.
I believe in you say that to the man sitting next to you.
I believe in you to the man next to you to The Man Behind you.
So this is probably one of the bigger gut checks that they have had with Northside running right down their throat and you want to talk a bunch of big gentlemen.
Going to have a lot of weight on their shoulders in the next 13 minutes and 13 seconds.
Let's see if the positive reinforcement that they're trying to get from the coaching staff will work their magic to keep this lead.
Well, Corey Jarvis told us that the lost to Creekside that was their last loss of the Season.
Back on October third, fifth game of the season was a defining point in their season, develop the character to put them on this eight-game, winning streak, that has them playing for the state championship.
Second down.
Oliver again, right up the middle Tobias Oliver that got no answer for him right now.
That's close to a first down for Oliver.
Ford carries for 69 yards is last four runs and 56 of that 69 has.
Come on this drive.
Big Time game for the sophomore Tobias Oliver here, in the third quarter, with his team down there.
Anybody right now on either side, line more confident and Tobias Oliver.
You just see it in his eyes right now.
He believes.
He fumbles it, this time picks it up and he's going to be dropped for a loss body.
Slammed by Tobias Lewis who grabbed him and drove his helmet into the ground.
And watch this Tobias little watch this going to go.
Bright had him.
Throw him down with one arm with one arm.
Blaze.
The tackle position for this Mays Raiders team six, 1235 Junior for a Jarvis, played defensive back at Albany State himself, says probably a Mike linebacker the next level second down and long now for Northside play action up top complete the TJ Anderson at the five very close to a first down map.
I'm going to flag down the Play-Doh back by the 25.
It may be coming back.
Mmm, penalties have just shot holes in North Side tonight and they go shift.
Wow, negates.
What Might Have Been a first down?
Catch of the five.
Very close to a first down.
Let's see for the shift here.
I did not see anybody move.
No, I didn't either.
Maybe the shift occurred outside of that tackle box out at the wide receiver position, because it certainly didn't happen right there.
That is the end of the third quarter.
And as every team in the nation, does they hold up four fingers?
But who will the fourth quarter belong to here in the Georgia Dome, the third, belonged to Northside and as a result, they're back in the game 1814.
As we go to the final 12 minutes in the Georgia, High School Association, 5A State title game to the Big Top.

Hey, great party.
Oh, thanks.
Here you go.
One, hamburger medium.
Well, this is well done.
No.
No, that's medium.
Well, what are you calling me a liar?
This thing is practically burned.
That's it.
You're not gonna come to my house and tell me how to cook a ham.
Do it there Grazie, so don't do it here, sportsmanship.
It's up to you.
Welcome back to Atlanta to the Georgia Dome A's on top 18, to 14 over Northside Warner Robins at the start of the fourth quarter.
We asked you earlier in the game.
How many games Northside Warner Robins one between the seasons, 2006 and 2008.
The answer is 35 and all you social media lights at Home were quick to give us that response.
And since we don't just go by names.
Now, we also go by Twitter, handles.
Our winner is j-dub 85.
So congratulations.
Jane.
But you'll be getting two tickets to the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
So maker trip over to Atlanta Wilson your tickets.
Thanks, everybody for participating guys.
Well, that sounds like fun on the trip to the College Football Hall of Fame.
We start the fourth quarter.
Northside has it at the maze 26-yard line but facing a second down in 21.
Tobias Oliver has been the story.
14 carries for 105 here.
While Willie.
Jordan has been shut down, only 42 on 18 carries.
They hand off the Weaver.
He goes up top to the end zone and looking for John Johnson incomplete and a flag down.
So they got them with some Razzle, Dazzle in the third quarter, but not here to start the fourth, but let's check the penalty.
Personal foul, targeting, Blow To The Head, on the passer, 15 yards.
Wow!
Automatic first down for the Eagles.
See if we can see it here right here.
Number 44, there.
It is.
Boom.
That's one, you know, we've talked to the rules officials earlier this week, that that's a judgment call.
There's no replay on it in high school football.
What they're going to do.
All they can in the referees.
Judgment.
Antonio Nelson.
Penalty on him Eagles.
Have it first and 10 at the 13 and a chance.
To reclaim the lead.
Prior to the snap false, start offense, five-yard penalty.
First down.
Now.
This is something that we have not talked about here.
But we've got a nice crowd here at the Georgia Dome.
A lot of people down there and especially over there on that, right?
Hash mark, their over their closest to the base side note.
This is a factor in these high school kids.
Don't typically deal with this kind of noise on a Friday night.
Yeah, they're playing right there just to the right of the quarterback.
Right at the goal.
Line is the Maize High School band.
We're making a lot of noise over there, right now, big open field tackle.
Yeah.
I tell you what the Andre Brown.
I'm sorry madam interrupt you, but I watch this once again.
He should have turned this ball turn and go back upfield.
He saw the white.
Church there, I can see why you tried to string it out.
That play is not going to work.
If you got to try to again run to the edge and outrun, this Mays defense, they'll just stringing out and make it a nominal gain.
They're going to have to again turn the ball up field.
Every chance.
You can what great effort by DeAndre Brown on that play.
He was able to dive over the blocker and make the tackle.
Second down swing, pass by DJ Anderson.
That is an incomplete.
Let's go back here.
Now, watch this tremendous effort by DeAndre Brown on this play.
He Dives over the blocker.
Who's going down in front of him.
He just Dives right over.
The blocker Tyler done the left guard and still makes the tackle.
Two big time move.
Eleven minutes and 11 seconds left in regulation with the State.
Final maze 18, Northside Warner Robins 14, and now it's third down and 18.
What side does have Alonzo, very good field goal.
Kicker Willie Jordan for the setup for three right there.
They'll bring Alonzo and he's 14 of 16 on the season.
And this is going to be a 32 -yard kick for Alonzo.
The junior, he is six of eight outside, the 30 of perfect, a debate inside the 30, these clothes, to inside the 30 right here.
There's a 32-yard kick.
They've set him up perfectly right in the middle of the field.
This is for a chance to cut it to one.
And he doesn't 32 yard kick by Alonzo who's now 15 of 17 on the season and he's 62 of 62 on his P 80s.
That's pretty impressive.
Know what a turn around right here in the second half.
And that drive right there.
Larry was all about Tobias Oliver.
It really was.
Again.
This is a back of the third quarter for me change into your looked at the end of the third, great, run, right there.
Holds onto it.
We saw him earlier with the run and knock the ball loose.
But again, smart play here, just a sophomore.
We've really seen him grow up and mature here in the second half.
Again, this direction, everyone watching Jordan sets up, a field goal by a Alonso and into your point.
This has been all North Side here in the second half.
Maze after 18.2 doing almost whatever they wanted to do.
In the second quarter has yet to get a first down here after halftime.
Great job by North Side on both sides of the ball to get back into this game.
Ten straight points.
Make it a one-point game.
That was an 11-play 55 Yard drive that took 5 minutes.
And now north side is put themselves in a position to where they can win it with a field goal and they got the man to do it.
The bias little takes the kickoff and he gets dropped great.
Open field Tackle by Ty Williams, this fifth tackle of the night.
When we look at this, that's a great open field tackle, right there.
Tyree Williams with the open field, tackle and Tobias little is still on the field and will step aside while they tend to Tobias a little.
GHSA Championship is made possible in part by Regions Bank.
It's time to expect more George's.
Electric Membership Corporation lighting away, technical college system of Georgia.
Learn more earn, more Cigna together all the way and viewers like you.
Thank you.
The GHSA would like to thank the Georgia Farm Bureau.
Tobias.
Little little wobbly as he makes his way off.
The field has four tackles tonight.
Look at this right here.
Hmm.
So smart.
And little again one of the stars of that front for from Maize.
And so again, when they, if if this turns out to be a little more of a series of an injury than what we hope that it is not, that's another problem for Maine's on deep.
It's another key player lost in this maze.
Defense maze, only 37 yards rushing on 16 attempts.
In this ball game.
249 on the are a lot of those have been on just really big plays, not a really consistent passing game but big play Passing game matter hold lots of time for aderhold and overthrows Davis had daily in coverage and it's going to be second down amazed running only eight plays on offense in the entire second half.
So no surprise here.
They want to try to get the ball into one of their Playmakers is a nice effort here.
It seems Davis.
Again, get behind his his Defender.
He did this very well in the first half, but couldn't connect on that play.
11 of 24 to 48 three touchdowns in the one interception.
That was a Pick 6 off the hands of taishan brown and Halton was there to break it up?
Third down.
You might have been young ever breaking young yet, was 30 Raekwon, not 10.
The great playwright here to knock that ball away.
Brown.
We've seen what he can do for you.
I see what you're doing.
Thank you.
Great.
Quad.
Long has to come off the field after his helmet popped off, and he rice Johnson, nearly got him gonna heave it deep for Carter and feather.
Can't remember.
Actually was that taishan brown instead?
Was it to or 12?
Yeah, one more.
Look at it.
I believe that is a. Yeah.
Hi, Sean Brown.
Here.
It is.
Once again.
Let me tell you something.
This is quite a he he he threw that ball.
Look at this.
He's under pressure, gets knocked down that ball traveled about 65 yards in the air.
Coach talked about what a big kid.
He is.
To quite a hit as well and almost completed the pass 62, 210 took a big hit from Darius, Richardson, Bobby, spent on to punt.
How makes the fair catch at the 40 yard line and cotton gives them a 60-yard field to work with after only a 28 yard kick.
Well, how about this Northside Warner Robins defense mad.
Again.
They have not allowed a single first down only believe what 11 plays here for the maze offense here since halftime and no first downs.
And the offense, meanwhile, held the ball nearly nine minutes there in that third quarter, when he scored seven straight points.
Chapel Pastor, Willie, Jordan.
Jordan got six on the blood.
I give Coach Kinsler a lot of credit.
Again.
We are seeing every time they have the ball.
There's a different.
Something that they're trying we've yet to see a shovel pass but again watches the defense that's little back in the game, good to seen a maze.
Number five right there in the center your screen, but once In the focus as you notice, right there was not on Jordan for the first time but it was on Oliver because he's rushed for over 100 yards here in this game.
Now, Oliver has been the big story for Northside tonight.
With his arm, but with his legs, run the Zone, they run a pitch play and Oliver keeps it packs.
It tried to take his head off and missed and a first down for Tobias.
Oliver.
Well, I love the effort by Oliver again.
Every time he runs the ball seemed like something good happens and form.
A just poor tackling right here.
You're trying to make the dramatic going and just take him down.
He weighs only 160.
This is one tough.
Sophomore number 12, or north side.
And the As Patrick rolls 245 and he survived the hit.
He kind of stunned him for a moment.
He didn't he's like, but I'm still standing.
I have it.
I can still run.
I'm not down and my head is still attached to my body.
That's right.
This shut man of the second half has been so impressive.
What a job.
He has done leading this team from 11 points down again, not a single offensive score and the in the first half.
What a job he has done and it all goes back to that, Flea Flicker.
Nothing going on.
The first time.
They had the ball in the second half at the Flea Flicker, the long touchdown pass to green and since then he's been Unstoppable and the Eagles are back on top.
What a run by Tobias Oliver and now a timeout called by north side because I think they want to consider going for to here.
The tcsg replay touchdown replay Matt Oliver.
Once again, here he is.
Great.
Boom.
Right there.
That's just been outstanding.
Look at what he has done this sophomore again, on the ground and the air he's been hit.
And again, you know, it's funny.
We talked all week long about Willie, Jordan, and the running game that we need.
They're going to run and said you got a pass.
Hey, you know what?
They're not even passing.
He's completed only, I think for passes the entire game.
He's getting it done with his feet and it's not Jordan with the school record 20 175 yards rushing this season.
It's young sophomore Oliver.
This first year as a starter 17 carries for 156 yards for Tobias, Oliver averages, 54 yards per game on the ground.
He's tripled that number here tonight.
Kevin's got our stats for us.
Five completions actually on 13 to temps.
And of course, the one long, touchdown 94 yards, so he's got over 200 yards of offense generated by the sophomore tonight, a young man who the Tuesday before they open the season against North Cobb.
Back in August, was not even the starting quarterback on Wednesday.
He became the starting quarterback.
When German Weaver had an appendectomy and he's been the quarterback ever since North Side running for two.
And throws the ball into the end zone.
And there he is, Ramon Weaver.
The guy who was going to be the quarterback catches, the two-point pass.
It's a seven-point lead for the Eagles.
Well, what a great play right there.
Let's watch the replay.
And again, you tell my just confidence and how just success breeds success, once him threaten needle.
It's a great angle.
Mat right here, watching, thread the needle right here.
Among all these white shirts.
That's a really tough pass to make on the move.
And yet, he does it.
Tobias Oliver, but his feet with his arm.
He's got North Side on top.
Now by seven.
What an unbelievable run here, 18 points in a row scored here in the second half.
Bye-bye, north side.
And we've got a player down right now.
Still the player who is defending on that is still down in the end zone.
Yeah.
Mon quite obvious Brinson.
I'm afraid is hurt badly.
I think it's a serious injury, but maybe not, we hope not.
But he went, there was a collision trying to make the tackle on Weber after he made the catch and he went flying through that Collision immediately grabbed for his left leg, as he went flying through the air.
Fact, we've got even have a trainer from the north side, side line, going over to help him and Applause here as he gets up.
One more.
Look at it.
Right here.
Number for top of your screen right here, after the catch, right there.
Yeah, but his leg and immediately reaches back there.
So as we watch him, walk off the positive is he's putting weight on on that leg.
That's the positive you look at Mase right now momentum is aside from the injury.
Of course.
We hope that he's okay.
So we take one more look at it.
I mean John Nelson may have more for us man.
Yeah, the helmet hit his knee.
When Weaver rolled over after making the catches helmet, came up and hit branching in the knee Nelson.
Yeah, we're down here looking at it.
He was able to put weight on it a little bit and you see what they're trying to do.
They're trying to look at it as close to the knee joint as possible.
He was able to walk on it a little bit if you see what they're looking at.
Right now, they're checking both sides to see if it actually was me contact or just below the knee.
Tyshawn Brown on the return and now maze playing from behind for the first time.
Since late in the first quarter, actually in the second quarter.
Pardon me.
So maze that came up with all.
Those big plays in the first half, a 19-yard touchdown pass from aderhold to Brown.
A 76-yard touchdown pass play to Davis and then a 29-yard touchdown pass to Davis on the final play of the first quarter.
Now, the Raiders are down and only 826 to work with.
From Marcus Bell on the carry, we get seven up to the 34.
As senior only 56, he's got such great speed.
He runs a 10-6 in the 100.
Team-leading 722 yards rushing and just under seven yards per carry.
Precast, Davis with the first down, catch up to the 46 and for first first down since halftime.
We're look at it again.
This direction, go for the fake.
Get into the hands of your playmaker.
Get the first down.
First and Ten ball is at the 46 yard line.
Now, under eight minutes to play in regulation, in this 5A state championship game.
Guys are hitting pretty hard here, man.
State championship on the line brand recast Davis, got a hole in the cupboard.
Sat down, wait for the past, picks up the first down at the 43.
Well, if I may say, I'm just, that's all I'm doing.
I'm looking for Davis.
I'm looking for brown.
I'm looking for Carter.
They spotted at the 44 first and 10, Julius Whitehead, number 10, split wide, top of your screen.
He hasn't had a catch yet tonight.
Keep her and her whole he can't get around the edge.
Hopping with the tackle.
And hot has been everywhere.
Third tackle for hunting tonight.
So again, I like to play car right here you load up the left.
Side everyone, looking that way for a pass up on that end, you go the other way, great defensive play there by hot and for the Eagles.
Second down and nine.
Heavy Rush ball, got patted down, Blitz coming off the edge, Josh bickers, the linebacker and then big old Isaiah Johnson.
I think knocked it out of the air and a big pause there.
Didn't he?
Check it one more time.
They do was watch 66 Johnson their top of your screen again.
Watch him looking looking.
And yeah, there it was.
Tell you what, that's what about the third or fourth path.
They've done that too.
That's just good coaching.
Good instincts.
Third down and nine more Blitz.
Coming at her whole, being rushed tiring Williams.
What a big time playing what?
A job.
This Northside defense has done here, the second half watch as he comes through unimpeded aderhold.
Again.
The first half was not touching, all wasn't even her ass.
But this Eagles defense has really stepped up.
Really answer the challenge 8, yard loss Here.
And Now another second half punch for the Raiders first, sack of the night for Northside and their 21st of the Season fourth of the season.
Tyree Williams, the senior linebacker.
Spence black down, nobody back for Northside and a chance for the Raiders.
Depend Northside deep as the ball rolls dead at the 10, but we'll check the flag.
See if they have to kick again.
I was a 41 yard kick by Spence.
We're having a legal shift on the kicking team after kick it again.
Well, good news for Mays.
Apparently.
The injury was not serious at all as monkey.
Obvious Brinson is back in there.
After taking a hit to the knee.
That's great news.
Is their top corner back into little brochure?
So now it's going to be fourth down and a little bit further.
Now, Spence has done a pretty good job of punting.
Tonight gets another shot at it.
We'll see if North Side puts anybody deep this time.
I don't think we're going to have any tricks here with such a long distance to get the first down and there isn't one.
And again, Northside doesn't put any body back, but they're going to pick up about nine yards in this transaction.
So instead of the 10 it's going to be the 19 for Northside with an even six minutes to play in regulation.
And Northside certainly has the ability here Larry to grind out a long drive.
So now a lot of pressure on this Mays defense.
The plate so well, in the first half but North side's got the better of them here in the second half.
Yeah, you're exactly right.
And the thing is, you can no longer count on and Keon.
Only Willie Jordan again to start running back because Oliver's at such a great job.
You can see now a different set and an I formation now, the full-back Anderson coming in and see what they do.
Willie, Jordan, John Nelson, what you got talking about Tobias, Oliver and sometimes it's the simplest message that can make the most impact.
Early third quarter.
They were telling Oliver.
Hey calm down.
Everything's fine.
Let the game come to you to slow things down and everything will be great.
Send it back upstairs.
Well, apparently we've had a fumble on the play and as maze taken over.
Apparently they have I never saw the ball come out and there was never really a Scramble for the ball and the Northside offense is still standing on the field and now the north side crowd, voicing their displeasure.
Typically, even if you don't see the fumble, you see a scramble and you know, the ball is loose but somehow maze came out with the ball.
Try to see if we can, we try to see it in the truck, it sitting, find anything.
We'll stay live right here and go to after this map.
Wow, it's hard to miss a fumble, but we all did Aderhold.
With the keeper.
Let's see if we can see the ball.
Come out.
Okay, Willie.
There it is.
It's out right.
There is under a mass of humanity.
That's why we never saw it.
It was indeed a fumble though.
And recovered by Mays what a big turn of events that they can turn this into points.
Second down aderhold all the keeper right up, the middle, aderhold down to the 10 and reaches forward to the eighth.
Maze first and goal from the 8.
One more.
Look at this, Matt.
Aderhold here.
Calls his own number.
All those running backs in the backfield.
But again, they've tried to put the ball into his hands.
Now here, these last couple of drives what a turn of events.
I think even the Northside fans are stunned.
They didn't know they'd lost the ball inside the 5-yard line.
That's only Tyler with the big run.
Second down and goal coming up.
Maize is no stranger to late game, dramatics.
No, not at.
All right here.
You put it in the hands of Tyler.
You talked earlier about his injury and how he didn't play much early on but a job, he's done tonight for them.
May's won, their first three games of these state playoffs is nor sideburns, their final timeout.
Wow, they only had 10 guys on the field and that's why they called the timeout.
But yeah, Mase won their first, three playoff games, all by a touchdown, or less on the road.
The first two came on the road including the 21:18 victory over Ware County, that finished the regular season.
The number one ranked team in the state.
Then of course, they beat Jones County.
The only team to beat North Side this year, by the way Jones County.
They beat Jones County on the final play of the England zeros on the clock to a 17-yard touchdown pass from aderhold Whitehead, but when that one, 4441, man, a breather last week being Stockbridge, say that jokingly a breather 3215.
We've been watching you watching those of us here in the booth or here with The Telecast working, each game, or if you're sitting at home.
Watching every Friday night.
It's been really thrilling to watch this develop.
And I remember the night that When they beat Ware County and all of us got of our eyebrows were like, wow, you know, that's that was big.
And I as you mention that their plates on the road.
Second down and goal following the timeout by Northside.
Power set aderhold didn't get their didn't get close.
Although a second effort ends up just shy of the goal line that I don't think they're going to give them.
That second effort came after the whistle.
They're going to spot it at the 1/3 and gold.
For each side, how bad do you want it?
As you said, 5A state championship on the line right here as we near the 4 -minute, mark Larry.
If you want to play Big Boy football that's raised has the offensive line to do.
It every starter over 300 pounds and they just moved and that was Dallas warm at.
Yep, the big-time Prospect before star, from Alabama, even the big-timers make mistakes sometimes.
The big guy fired too early and now it's going to be third and goal from the 6.
Well, the good news is you get two cracks at it.
The bad news is, oh my goodness.
You're right at the 1-yard line.
Against a defense that's been stingy pitching a shutout here in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
Third down in gold.
Langford in motion.
Look at his way Rush throws to the end zone and throws it away had no property to go to although Langford was the receiver in the area code and now it's Fourth Down.
One more look at this and he's got good time.
Runs out of the pocket, trying to clear himself.
It's Northside defense has really stepped up and they're going to try field goal now.
And here's our guy.
I don't understand this because I don't understand the field goal attempt because you still got to get a touchdown because you're gonna be down for ya.
He's a lefty too.
And the kick is no good.
I don't, I did not understand that right there.
Because even if he converts it, you're still in the same spot.
Field goal doesn't help you because another field goal is still lose by one.
You're still gonna have to score a touchdown and you're down there at the five.
I didn't understand the play call.
I want to look at it.
Six, six three hundred eighty pound.
Kicker.
Couldn't couldn't send it home.
And so now, the one thing for me is you have all three timeouts left.
Northside has none, they're going to likely run the ball, every chance.
They can hear.
But you're right north side in the driver seat, right now.
What an effort in the second half and the in the other side to that is you get they get the ball at the 20.
It even, if you fail that you run the ball, you try to go for the touchdown.
They're going to be pinned, back at the 5 or the for wherever you go.
Stop.
The tress Patrick making that tackle right there.
Seventh tackle of the night for Patrick next time you see him.
He'll be reading the wearing the red and black, if everything goes according to plan for him.
Clock continues to run and Maze, does have all three timeouts remaining.
Let's start thinking about using a timeout.
Rock continues to run.
3rd down and 9.
Oliver know where to go.
DeAndre Brown Xavier Lewis making that tackle for timeout and they use a timeout stopping the clock with 217.
So maze will get the ball back with the state championship on the line when we come back.

She's perfectly healthy, Cigna covers preventive, care at having you back.
217 to play.
And fourth and seven coming up for Northside here at their own 23-yard line, and obvious punting situation in Maze and get the ball back for one final chance.
Alonzo stands at the 10-yard line?
Kicks it away from Braun.
Hi, John Braun.
Lets it roll right past him and Out of Bounds at the 37-yard line.
So Mays 63 yards away following the 40-yard punt 2009 on the clock and they have two timeouts remaining.
So, now, the question is, did Coach Jarvis, make the right move.
We'll find out here.
He went for the field goal.
Northside defense has been simply outstanding here.
The second half.
Matt, it really answered the call and now they've got one more shot to hold the Raiders.
Crowd getting into it on both sides.
Somebody said we need more cow bell.
I'm here at the other aderhold given time heaves.
It deep for taishan brown, jump ball in complete daily, the sophomore, safety there, the break it up, you know, they're going down the field, more, and watch this.
Here, the end of this play right here.
Great play by daily.
He's been everywhere.
Just a Baptist ball away, kind of Misses at it.
But again, he's there to interfere with the sight lines.
A brown.
What?
They're going away from what?
What got?
What made it successful?
All three touchdowns in the first half.
Were short Crossing plays.
You don't have to go deep on this.
Heavy Rush.
B Johnson, aderhold throwing on the Run, throws it underneath when Drake is Davis first down at the 45.
You know, I don't know if you get a chance.
Here we go.
If we can save, this will take a look at this right here.
Watch The Vision right there.
And if we get a chance on, if we can see a shot a little bit earlier, but actually great job by the linebackers of Northside, to take that play away a very early on now watch, watch him here, right about here is when he first wants to throw to him, but the linebacker steps.
In front takes the lane away.
They both run.
Nice job there and they're on the run now and Eagles territory.
First intent from the 44 Blitz coming off the edge aderholt steps up the mission and runs and scrambles hordes of the 41.
Good block by Langford in the backfield to as Cortez Fields.
The linebacker came off the edge and Langford saw just in time and so did aderhold and a man down for north side as well as the defensive end.
Robert Jones that stops the clock with 139.
Aderhold just one of his last 9 for 19 yards passing.
And while Robert Jones is being tended to on the field will step aside.

25:18 with 139 to blow.
There's a shot of this a moment ago Jones, getting up, Robert Jones, and Senior defensive lineman, still working on here on the sidelines, good scene.
They're getting up and walking off in his own power second down and seven handoff goes.
To Langford Fields making the tackle clock continues to run under 1:30 to play.
Now.
It's going to be third down and five may still have two timeouts.
It was an injury timeout there.
So they weren't charged for it, nor side, gunning for their third state championship.
Pump.
Fake up top Tyshawn Brown can't run under it.
And now it's Fourth Down.
Yeah, man.
I just you got so many weapons.
These three receivers are really special.
They showed in the second half and again, you give Northside credit their linebackers taking away that short pass.
But I would try to find a way to get the ball to them.
But just a 68, yard pass.
They've got the ability to break it open.
I would do more of that.
If North Side gets the stop here, they'll be the state champions.
If they can hold on to the ball.
Porcupine.
Heavy rush, they have to get rid of it and complete goes over to the Eagles.
And again, it was Cortez Fields bringing the pressure off the edge for aderhold to get rid of it quicker than he wanted to, and Northside has the ball, and just one minute and seven seconds to kill.
Here it is.
One more.
Look at it right there.
You know, it's again just this deep as they did, a very nice job.
Remember in the first half.
They were only rushing three Lyman, sometimes, maybe a fourth, but so many times in the second half.
They've been more aggressive, bringing the linebacker in.
On the stunt play great effort right there.
But Adam hold completed.
Only one of his last 11 passes in this game.
What a turn of events here in the second half credit, North Side on both sides of the ball on the job.
They've done here to take this game away and score.
18 consecutive points and try to go for more Welly.
Jordan picks up the first down at the 46.
Unfortunately, for him.
He went out of bounds.
You should have slipped out and gotten on the ground instead of trying to beat the man around the edge because the clock is your friend.
Now, it's right.
The two time outs remaining for Mays, there's almost no way possible.
Unless Northside fumbles the ball.
And at this point.
Because of the two timeouts, you can't just take a knee, right, but you're getting close.
Jordan to the 46 and now maze uses the timeout stops the clock with 55 seconds.
But what's going to happen here is they're going to run one more play and Mays will use their last timeout.
And then just from mathematical standpoint, north side should be able to run out the clock and clinched the state championship.
What a job here by coach Kinsler in the Eagles.
Again.
This is an 18-7 maze lead at halftime.
If you're joining us late, May 3 touchdowns in the first half.
Aderhold grown cold here in the second half one of 11 1 for his last 11 on the 19 yards.
And you got to give Northside credit to better coverage downfield and they turned up the pressure in the pass rush.
Aderhold with 200 yards passing in that first half.
Shut down here by North side's defense in the second.
And then how about that young man right there, Tobias Oliver the sophomore quarterback really coming of age, flea-flicker touchdown, 70 yard touchdown pass.
Their first offensive score the game.
It's been all Eagles ever since keeper, Oliver.
All he's got to do is hold on to it, which he does and Mays uses their last timeout.
So now it's going to be third down and 13 to go.
Oliver slow to get up.
And she said, he's just a buck, 60 bucks, 60 soaking wet.
He's been tough as nails tonight.
Speaking of nails tomorrow night, Chuck Smith favorite player for Archer High School.
Archer and Colquitt County, you.
And I'll be back here for the 6A title game.
And of course, we've got four games all starting at 10 a.m. With Eagle's, Landing Christian and Mount Paran Christian in the single, a private school championship game.
It's a great atmosphere here.
All the fans coming in and out.
And there you see the Chargers and the Raiders at 10 a.m.
The double a final Benedictine and Greater Atlanta.
Christian followed by the for a final, Buford and st. Pius and then Larry and I back for Archer and Colquitt County.
Can't wait for that one.
Should be a lot of points scored.
But you never know.
Third down here.
49 seconds on the clock and Maze has no more timeouts to stop.
The Sands from going through The Hourglass.
Jordan carries to the 44.
Let's see where they reset.
The play clock man, down for maze.
In the Northside fans are going to voice their displeasure.
So, 37 seconds, as they tend to the bass player down on the field.
I believe that smart res Daniels Daniels.
With seven tackles tonight.
Now, the question now is in terms of when you go to start the clock and set, 37 seconds left.
We're out of timeouts.
All right, Jon, what you got down on the sideline?
This is probably the biggest fourth and eighth.
We've seen in a long time.
We've had bad snaps cause things in the past the north side coaching staff is reminding all of the players.
If it's a bad snap, don't do anything with it.
Just fall on the football that Turned a game with Buford and Calhoun a couple of years ago, off a bad snap and a punt situation, some of the Northside coaches reminding, the players just fall on the football.
Don't do anything.
Well, the question here is Are they going to even have to snap it again or what?
How much time will be on the clock?
Because as soon as Daniel starts walking off the field and they set the ball.
They're going to roll the clock again.
Of course, Northside going for their third state championship, having won state titles in 2006.
And 2007, and earlier this week.
We spoke with Coach Kevin Kinsler about the prospects of title.
Number three is something, you know, we're at home base where the people most of the people work and out in the community, you know, they exchanged back and forth each and every day and everything is a lead up to Friday night.
North side.
Bala.
Now, it's a great experience.
And it's one thing that our community has really done an outstanding job of developing, you know, a special atmosphere and it's special for our kids to be able to play in something like that.
And Kevin kinsler's team, 37 seconds away from that state championship.
But in the meantime, Marquess Daniels, I know the crowd booed thinking initially that he was just laying on the ground to try to stop the clock, but a apparently the injury to Daniel's is significant as they brought out the board to put him on John Nelson.
You have an update for us.
Obviously, they're putting the player on the flat board and we're going to keep an eye on that as we go.
But let's go back in the Wayback Machine 2, 2007 and take you to that last championship.
Take it up Memorial Stadium down, in Waycross, a strip and a fumble.
We're County gets on the board.
And this was a back-and- forth.
With ballgame all the way through.
We're County with the points on the board there.
And then they'll end up with a short touchdown here.
But then north side with everything.
Pointing to the Number 96, for those of you believing in numerology everything 96, you had a half back, option pass to Nick, bass for the winning score.
And that was the last.
That was the last title that Northside had and Conrad.
Nix is down here on the sidelines, will catch up with him.
If North Side wins, but that was the last title that Northside got, it was at Ware County and Dan Ray.
Go back in 2007.
So, I'll add a, of course, is.
Falling upon us here at the Georgia Dome as we are greatly concerned about the severity of this injury to Mark Les Daniels.

Well, that's having a partner as with you all the way Cigna.
Well, they've got the card out there, to try to transport Marquess Daniels off the field and they're securing him of.
Obviously.
This is they take great precautions, anytime.
I'm just a pop, the sizing here that it's a neck type injury, or something of that nature, to which they would be concerned enough to bring out the straight board.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
You saw some members of the training staff from both teams and this and after all that's the most important thing is his welfare.
Important game obviously tonight, and we certainly hope that this is, is not serious.
And well, he is remove the okay, as you can see, he's given the thumbs up.
Yep.
So it's he does have movement and I did notice that when he initially went down, he did reach up and grab the hands of the trainers and the medical staff.
That went out there to tend to him.
So this is a good sign that he does have movement.
But of course, obviously Our concern here is with the well-being of Marquez.
Daniels and unfortunately anytime anybody is hurt, but especially here in the later stages of this ball game with the game still yet to be decided.
Yeah, and let's just say this to that the entire Dome cheering unbolt sides, and Northside Warner Robins fans, and the Maize High School fans, both cheering at this young man.
As he continues to hold up, his hand, an acknowledgement and again, our thoughts with him and hopefully get that.
He's okay.
As we finish out these final 37 seconds here at this game, but he's So well what a first half he had he was all over the place and outstanding player for Coach Jarvis, Wells, High School.
They're going to start the clock.
Right now.
And so there's a difference of 12 seconds on the play clock and the game clock so they can take a penalty if they want to at the 10 -second Mark and then decide what to do on fourth down.
I don't have a timeout to delay the penalty.
So, they're going to take the penalty and it comes with 12 seconds.
so now, What do you do?
You got 12 seconds to kill.
I would not risk the punt.
I would, I would take a knee.
I would not take Annie, I would just run.
Well, I mean, remember they there's been a couple of high snaps to Alonzo.
I might snap it to t.j. Anderson the up back and let him.
Okay, run around and try to kill as much time as he could.
Okay, try to run forward instead.
They get rid of it and the clock, the ball continues to roll.
God is going to do it.
The game is over.
Northside the 2014 Georgia High School Association, 5A state champions, third state championship in Eagles history.
What a great job again and what a second half, pitching a shutout, that defense and the way they stepped up the adjustments that they made.
This is really outstanding job again, so much to be proud of 5A state champions.
Great job.
14 and 1 and the first state championship for Kevin Kinsler, the two previous titles coming under the legendary coach Conrad Nix who is standing by with John Nelson, you are getting more hugs here on the sidelines is pretty much anybody else.
Obviously, you're still part of the family.
How does it feel to get another title?
And don't know, and never gets tiring, you know, and it's just great.
It's great to be in Northside.
He gone, very thankful for these coaches.
I done a great job on our traditional.
Just continues to go, you know our guys like grade and got a little close to that, you know, but it's a great High School game.
Great at high school, atmosphere than all, just praise God for, what we've done.
Now, when Kevin took over for you.
It just seems like it was pretty much the same thing over and over.
It's just, it was a second person.
Kevin has continued the tradition that you said.
I'm awfully proud of him and he's a great young man.
Done it.
He's done really good job at Northside Through The Years just really proud of him.
You know, I told him when We when I retired, I told all of them, you know, I'm not leaving him.
A pot of gold.
I'm leaving him a gold mine.
The difference in a gold mine.
You've got to work your toe.
You've got to work the go, man.
He's working really well, and I'm very proud of.
It's great to be a north side of evil, John and you have that the young kids who made the impacts just as well.
You've got a sophomore quarterback.
So the gold mines really hitting it.
Hard early.
I'll do it be now.
You remember tenshi Stuckey.
He said, chance he stuck you made over you.
Don't the bias did a great job.
Second half tonight half.
Be any more proud of her young man.
Just did a really good job.
Just like he said a sophomores.
Got a lot of lot of games in front of him.
Congratulations, got celebrate.
Thank you.
Tell Kevin Kinsler, congratulation will dig up in North San Diego, John Conrad Nix.
Gonna go celebrate with the rest of the Northside Clan.
Send it back upstairs.
Yeah, seems like a proud father their course.
Kevin Kinsler was a quarterback for Coach Conrad Nix and then went on to be an assistant coach with coach.
Nick's as well, 15 years as the defensive coordinator.
And now, Kevin Kinsler gets his first state championship as a head coach as well.
But Larry to big story lines here.
Tonight, both of them developing in the second half for Northside.
Number one, Tobias Oliver took over the game.
He's the MVP of the game in my book.
And number two, the Northside defense, slam the door on a maze team.
The Struck him for three touchdowns in the first half and over 200 yards passing in the first.
And in fact, we wondered at halftime we Talking one of the things we discussed off camera during the halftime show.
How are they going to come up and make this happen?
What's going to happen?
Oliver really did a great job.
199 yards in total offense for him in the second half, 249 total in the game.
As you mentioned, the 40 seniors on this Northside Warner Robins team, doing a great job, many of them on defense.
But again the sophomore Oliver.
What a great job he did.
I think we really saw him mature so much at a great job of the coaching staff to we kept saying, every time they came out and got the ball.
All they tried something different.
They tried this, they tried that.
They found a way to make it happen.
But again, here's all of her again, holding onto the ball, taking the big hit there giving up 80 pounds.
By the way, to Patrick and just was undaunted.
And what he did really came on into his own, he could see after the big touchdown play that he had earlier.
The game that flea-flicker only the third quarter from that moment on it was like he had so much confidence, the great threading, the needle here in the two-point conversion and the 25 total points as they get the win by a touchdown and Conrad Nixon boki.
The name of chancy Stuckey.
That's big honors there for Tobias Oliver.
Okay, down to the podium, we go and Mark Harmon.
Thank you very much.
It's time now to resent the championship trophy for the 5A state champs or 2014, the Eagles of Northside Warner Robins for that.
I turn it over the executive director of the GHSA, Gary Philip.
Thank you Bart.

Before I say anything.
I want to give my Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ, all the place in glory.
These kids is a special bunch of kids.
They've been doing this all year long.
They love each other.
They believe in each other had faith and I just told him to have faith one more time for 24 minutes and now their state champions out of the field, The Seer coach holding that Trophy and the championship football.
We've been working at decease, after after last season every day.
Giving all all of us.
Call it this this man right here.
He told us how to love each other when I say, I love him.
I love him.
They're like my brothers, find, never had a brother like my brothers.
And I have a brother graduates to do Willie Jordan, you found the end zone and I talked a little bit about tonight's game.
It was great.
We had good fans.
My brother's our family.
It's going to be a nice idea.
And we got Nathan green, Nathan green, a 71 yard pass play, talk about that play.
It was crazy.
It was just good execution.
I really You can't take all the credit.
It was really to buy some Willie doing that in the backfield.
And I just did what I was told to do and good came out of it.
Congratulations worst coach Kinsler one final time.
I know you're very proud of your team.
Take a look at that fan base over there.
