ranked north cobb warriors meet the number three roswell hornets the look at the bracket warriors winners over tip county and at lambert in the second round roswell winners at home against pebblebrook and peachtree ridge winner of tonight's ball game will advance to the semifinals to take on either west lake or lowndes roswell hornets 2015 state finalists the hornets have won 26 of their last 27 games they're only lost during that time in the state championship game a year ago they are back-to-back region champions and quarterfinal appearances for the first time in 45 years the warriors have won six straight the number two seed out of region three they are in the quarterfinals for just the third time in program history and the first since 2012 when led by the quarterback tyler queen they advanced to the state semifinals joined by big chuck smith and big chuck happy thanksgiving i appreciate it i ain't that big no more i didn't even eat that much yesterday you'll always be bigger than me all right let's start with these roswell hornets and the big question for them is their running back sheldon evans healthy he's missed the last couple of weeks with an ankle injury yeah he's been beat up but he's the catalyst that makes this offense go over 60 touchdowns over 5 000 yards in his career he's the hammer i mean they're going to need him to run the ball today and they're going to need him to be effective versus north cobb's defense defensively the hornets want to get warriors quarterback will love it off his spot they'll need a big game from justin ellis well justin ellis has to be what he always is disruptive nasty and aggressive and it's going to be really important because will love it's the catalyst today he's going to be the most important player for north cobb they got to get him off the spot but remember he's going to run the ball a lot today so it's going to be really important for ellis and the rest of defense to swarm yeah that's the interesting thing about tonight's ball game with will lovett is he's a big dude he gets going downhill he's hard to tackle well he's thicker than the snicker now he's 220 pounds he's a big boy i love him now he's big he's tough he's he's he's basically what the new era of quarterbacks to become he is a tim tebow s quarterback on the high school level and defensively for north club their two defensive ends christian albright and thurman gathers have been dynamic we'll see if the hornets can block them tonight well two of my favorites all year these guys are the real deal they get after they play hard they run to yard line 11-yard pickup well kentrell barber gets downfield runs down right down the seam i love right here malik willis sets his feet knows exactly where to go with the ball and what you're seeing right now from north cobb they're playing the zone defense they're playing cover three both of the corners were playing deep and the safeties were playing also deep one third first and ten sheldon evans no place to run that time as christian albright got him for a loss you know i expect right now roswell to start keep doing that pop pass what they're doing they're faking the inside run and coming up and giving malik willis direct passes and throw right down the seam i expect them to come back to that because they've had a lot of success second down and 13. ball is at the 24 yard line hammered inside then they fake it and throw now chuck because of the 15-yard mark off against north cobb roswell is kicking off from the warriors 45-yard line i would onside kick here or pooch kick and try to get on that thing i'm 100 behind you i mean the ball's already on the other side of the 50. i would do something here they kick it through the uprights you can do whatever you want i would definitely i would definitely try something right there but the hornets choose not to do that and so the warriors will take over at the 20-yard line and the hornets don't give up much on defense anyway no so they're saying hey we're going to keep playing defense keep doing what we're doing and until until obviously someone does something against them but let me tell you something what has to happen here for north cobb they gotta run will love it they've we've talked about that the importance of it the biggest play today was third we went 30 plus yep and what's yeah it was will love it yeah they got to keep running and also i like to see him you got to get cj cole out of the backfield running some stretch plays i expect him to come back with a little more of that well loving is committed to troy he committed to the trojans back during the summer gonna run at this time and there's no running room justin ellis in on that tackle well if you count the bodies around the ball i'm counting eight players on that time i mean inside the box that's three yards on each side of the ball i mean they're playing on the other side of the ball roswell they're stacking the line they're not respecting the wide receivers right now because they haven't had to hornets have given up only 94 total points the entire season that's less than eight per game tunnel screen techman got blown up ball out at the 20-yard line and are they going to rule that and incomplete yep i mean techman got blown up at the 18-yard line what you're seeing here i'm gonna just tell you roswell's playing man-to-man defense so you're responsible for the man no matter where he goes so they're gonna keep shadowing techman until these receivers make some plays down down field they're playing look they're man they're line they're gonna i'm telling you north cobb's offense is gonna have to figure out a way to get the eight men from out of the box roswell right now they have stacked the box they have stacked the box they're they're challenging this north cobb offense yeah kobe cumberlander ends up with the ball yep the ball was out yeah d roberto dropped him and kobe cumberlander came up with the fumble recovery so the hornets have it at the 15-yard line wow roswell's defense i mean they got eight guys around the ball they're playing man-to-man on the three wide receivers that north cobb is putting out and this ball whatsoever right now i i'm giving a lot of credit you gotta look what roswell's doing they're saying we're gonna man up we're manning up we're gonna play man-to-man when they put their four wides out we believe we can cover those guys so let's put everybody in the box because cj cole is also the catalyst when you look at this offense when you stop cj cole it's gonna be hard for will lovett to run an outside zone play if you don't respect the dive if you don't respect the outside receivers so what has to happen here the receivers of north cobb have to make some plays downfield and that'll open up cj cj and will love it zero yards passing although that technically is a pass right there it's gonna lose yards zaire oh yeah fosobi takes a loss kade gonzalez with the tackle that's the first thing that comes to mind as i'm watching this roswell defense that was a mod strozier pardon me number 12. i mean look at him run the sideline sideline it's a it's a moving wall that right now north cobb cannot find the answer to break through that's the fourth tackle for loss for the hornets in the quarters oh they're hunting right now roswell's hunting heavy rush loving has to get out of it before he loses his head man man man listen i if and he almost lost his head four different ways four different d linemen were back there penetrating i mean he didn't have time he fell down and him and that's the fundamentals of the game about blocking and tackling right now roswell's doing both better horton will kick it kicks it away from mckinney let's see where they spot it as it sails out of bounds that was short that's going to be on the yeah they're still walking the yards wow and you never want to give such an explosive offense to short field i expect roswell to come out right now keep hitting them take a shot but i think they're going to try to run it but i think with their feel well i mean i think they're still going to try to get sheldon involved in a little bit sheldon evans but but i think ultimately malik willis eight completions six different receivers right now he's been phenomenal getting the ball out of his hands and making the right decisions i think they take a shot right here heavy rush quarterback sack and that was trey urquhart the linebacker coming off the edge and dropped willis for a loss you were right they came out and they were going to take a shot looks like here looks like they're going to run a screen north cobb did a good job of shutting that down but good defense good defense urquhart the junior with four sacks on the season second down and 17. underneath they go the reed and read across the 30 and down to the 27 16-yard pickup well good job by the offensive line of roswell north cobb rushes three you should be able to protect him if you got five protectors good job finding the open man just sitting down in the hole again malik willis making the right decisions at the right time getting the ball in this guy's hand so they can run third down and two from the 27. kelvin evans to the 25 and he's got the first down tough run by sheldon evans solid defense by north cobb evans bounces out outside gets a good block i'm going to tell you i think this game is going to end up a lot of willis throwing the ball here i think they're smell they're filling themselves and feeling like they can put this one out of reach early it's going to be what the quarterbacks are willis is committed to virginia tech that sport in motion they hand off to him on speed sweep gets by gathers and gathers still catches up with him and drops him after just a one-yard pickup that was great closing speed by thurman gathers right there nice job by gathers but uh looks a little funny exchange here with the quarterback with malik willis but nice job by north cobb as you see here running to the ball good job by gather showing some speed getting after it yeah i thought gathers was gone on the play and he still stayed with him and picked up the first down but picked up the tackle after urquhart pushed him and forced him back in screen pass dropped kentrell barber the target trying to throw a swing screen now here's now here's where malik willis has been dangerous we talked about eight completions the nine completions to six different receivers he's been really efficient on the short intermediate routes the curl routes the five to tens getting down field this is where he's really dangerous north cobb's playing the zone so he's gonna there's gonna be some open holes if he can find him third down and nine willis gonna run it first down willis touchdown he found the open hole and he took advantage of it story this game has been malik willis with his arm we talked about his ability with his legs this is designated it's the hold the ball now you got to remember right now roswell's controlled the ball north cop when they receive this ball and they get out here for offense they have to control the ball and they it's imperative that they get points here and it's going to happen with the arm i don't believe they're going to be able to run today matt yeah i don't you're right i know they can't love it's going to have to do it with his arm you got four wide receivers out there somebody has to step up they have the one big 30-yard run by will lovett on the zone read they weren't expecting that now they've seen it and they made a nice adjustment they they're going they're putting man-to-man they're putting their corners right they're going nose-to-nose with the wide receivers of north cobb and said we're going to stop your run because we don't believe that you guys can beat us as receivers well they have two division one caliber corners we already seen lee anthony williams justice harris on the other side has 17 offers again as you watch it if you watch what's happening here they got eight defenders and a n in the ninth guy who is the safety coming up so when north cobb decides to play with two wides they got them they're no no they're deion sanders man yeah i mean they're daryl green they're champ bailey knows the nose we got you man-to-man we're gonna shut down your run and make you one-dimensional will love it's got to make some plays with his arm with these receivers second down and 10. open cj cole big hitter across the 45 up to the 47.

27 27-yard pickup there you go that takes some of the pressure off you start building a little confidence good job by will lovett getting back there faking it on the run this is a hard throw he slings that nice catch by cj cole getting out of the backfield getting downfield got to protect yourself cj but it dropped that shoulder now these boys ride well hunting so you got to protect yourself cj cole 15 catches on the season and the play's coming back now when you're north cobb you can't set yourself back coach queen talked about we cannot have penalties when you're on the road in a hostile environment it's one of the things you got to limit you cannot have these kind of penalties when you have your first good play with the with your quarterback's arm holding was the call against north cobb so rather than having a first down at the 47 they're way back at the seven yard line now facing second and 23. well it's dangerous right here now you're backed up to your end zone you got four wide receivers yep there it was got his hands on him for marion carter 55. they'll be careful here now out of his own end zone up top for techman who makes the grab at the 40-yard line well that's opportunity here in this man coverage for some rub off plays and slants get drew techman slanting like he did just then the slant play run some of the dig routes you know going up and ends and there's job by quantity green we just discussed where the holes are going to be in this defense slant routes that was a five yard slant expect now they will love it they work in the slants keep working the slants then what you do is you also work the slant and go that's going to eventually happen they're going to take another shot here in a minute quantity green's been bothered by shin splints all wood showing i mean toughness and effort and drive and if north cops will get back in this game they're going to show some of that same kind of drive second down and two going for the home run and jaden kama unable to run under it time now to kick it as we check in on clowns and westlake and look at that the lions with a 14 to nothing lead and chuck the shocker is that lowndes has not scored they've scored over 140 points in the first two rounds of the playoffs and the lions have blanked them for the first 24 minutes cam creek down there getting after it cam newton would be proud newton's back and quantity greens gonna be dropped for a loss at the 27 yard line roswell they got some news they got some beasts on this defense i mean they're swimming to the ball man i mean they try to run a reverse here for quantity green nada nothing there's nothing there the only way right now for north cobb to get in this game and stand this game they're going to have to protect and throw the ball with will love it second down and 19 pass complete the techman and he gets walloped by d roberto at the 28 yard line all right now that was my other option detecman getting him in the mix all right let me see what i'm gonna come up with next and that's the same thing their offensive coordinators thinking right now too i mean they've had success getting down field they're gonna have to try to find it but right now roswell this defense i mean it's like they got double players out there it was like 22 guys out there nice job that's what speed does make you see doubles d roberto with six tackles on the night two of them for loss beloved fires and it is caught by jay irwin and mckinney tries to strip him again this time erwin holds on to the ball as he gets it across the 50 down to the 45 and a big 27 yard pickup well good job by irwin on this post play nice job by lovett setting his feet getting the ball out of his hands we talked about the post and the slants are going to be open in this man-to-man defense they find the hole another tackle for loss right there is lovett goes down he does get back to the line of scrimmage as cumberlander makes the stop they're hitting anything roswell i mean they hitting the running backs they're hitting the quarterbacks i mean hey i've been in games on both sides of this fence you know here but your offense they just have to be consistent they're gonna have to throw the ball throw the ball second down and ten and the play gets blown dead because i've been on the sideline when our offense was in the same situation for years matt you know different levels and it's frustrating because you know when you're playing against a defense like this it's the statement used to be keep sawing wood right keep sawing wood keep sawing wood till you break through and that's what they're doing right now i think i keep sawing wood trying to get some points and then keep fighting second down and ten set up the screen strozier with the catch and have the running back act like he's going out for a pass and hit ellis that's another way to stop a pass rusher or you have to put a tight end inside of him and try to help wide his rush lane nelson what you got how about let's uh go to the upper right hand bracket in 7a and show you what's going on remember this was 14-7 then it was 21-7 the folks in gold green and white have the football that the 1970s 71 season 7-0 at home this season they've won 18 straight games at home they've won 26 of their last 27 games and roswell has outscored their opponents 263-63 in their seven home games this season well they're doing it man they're doing what you're supposed to do championship teams their foundations on defense and the explosive on offense and they feel like this is their time this class has had a lot of success but the ultimate success is winning the championship and that's what they're trying to do i'm trying to block this point here or i'm trying to set up a return i think i would try to set up a return with tekni north cobb does have two timeouts remaining booming kick from barkov techman goes back and fields it makes a fair catch at the 25 44 yard kick by turner park off to flip the field and then a flag out we may have a personal foul near midfield away from the kick about 30 yards away a couple of players were going at it who were the two i couldn't see it i was offsetting penalties so north cobb will take over at the 26-yard line with one minute and four seconds left in the half well you got to put your bravado to the side when it comes to making these silly plays right now you can't afford to have any players right now north cobb you're behind you got to play smart you can be tough you can be rugged and you can be aggressive and be smart that's what north cobb has to do same way with on the other side with roswell you can play do all those different things and be smart smart teams win championships first and ten ball at the 26. nothing doing it dive play cj cole no rule very stout roswell pack of roswell hornets making that play lemon titus in on that tackle and now it's gonna be second down clock continues to run north cobb does have the timeouts but being pinned so deep i don't think they're going to do anything here love it slings it across the middle and nearly intercepted by d roberto all right now you see they've countered that talking about roswell the slants that time they went into a cover two the middle linebacker was about 15 yards deep so there's a chess match going right now they're playing they're going man-to-man and that time they played zone in the cover too the middle linebacker got a lot of depth we're going to take a shot here i think eventually they just throw it downfield to techman he's got man-to-man here again third down and 10. minus five yards rushing for the warriors they set up the screenplay to cole and cole not gonna go very far as he gets dragged out on the play by mitch stone and that might have been the final play of the first half we know when you look at this first half right now roswell's done an excellent job they've dominated the first half but north cobb right now they're lucky to be down 21-0 it probably could have been worse where they are they can need to go in and regroup figure out how to get the ball downfield and try to attack from that angle and use the passing game because they're not going to be able to run themselves into the next round it's going to have to be will love its arm a dominant first half for the roswell hornets as northcott goes to the locker game and you know since you guys aren't out here and i know thanksgiving kind of sends everybody to the four wins i'm going to ask you since you are in the principal's office position but today i'm in the band director's office what's going on at north cobb these days uh a number of great things are happening at north cobb not only academically but also extracurricular as well uh we cobb uh as an entire county has grown in terms of graduation rates and uh north cobb grew by about five percent this from 2015 2016. in addition to that uh the band is in a wonderful season and uh we uh scored high music at our last um competition in noonan georgia so i'm very very excited to be a part of it uh see i was waiting for that band centric soundbite to come at some point right yeah no worries time to to this offense when he was a junior so he knows it inside and out and he's brought so much to the table on offense for us it's just a lot of fun you know i was at western this past year actually 2014 and then just want to be back with dad coaching high school while there's nothing better than high school football i really truly believe that and had an opportunity to come back be with him and you know coach the quarterback that we've got and be a part of this community again it's just been a blessing the cats have had to battle mother nature too and still are really the forest fires in the north georgia mountains have made the last few weeks just weird but it's been a uniting force for everyone around it's been different you know we've had to practice in our indoor facility some you know do as much as we can in there do some just some of the um you know passing kicking stuff outside but it's it's been difficult trying to put a full normal practice together going in and out um you know it's there's some days that are really clear like today and there's other days that are really really smoky out and it's just kind of bothersome to some of the guys that you know have asthma and such we try not to let it distract us too much it definitely would play a role in like how we practiced definitely because when it was smoky out here we'd have to go in the indoor and then just not knowing what we were going to do going into going into practice because some days it would be smoky leading up to practice then it'll clear up for practice so we got to be outside so it's just been i mean weird like you said but like i said we try not to let it affect us too much so the cats continue to catch everything at practice hoping not to be caught themselves for a while and right now give yeah 24-yard touchdown run right there by malik willis and you see the domination negative five yards rushing and that's the big issue for the warriors is there anything they can do to negate the hornet's speed on defense and run the ball well the only thing they're going to be able to do now is through i don't believe right now that north cobb has the offensive line right now you know in gear enough to go and compete right now against a vicious roswell hornets front they're going to have to throw the ball get the ball downfield but it's going to be interesting how they handle protection you know what i'm saying because they got they're playing with three and four wides and right now that they're not able to control the pass rush of roster and chuck you say they have to throw the ball but the hornets have two quarterback sacks and five other tackles for lost in the first half well i mean they're playing man-to-man coverage and we're talking about roswell so what's happening is they have eight defenders right around will love it within four yards of him expecting him to give the ball to cj cole on a dive or take it outside so they basically have eight players to tackle two but i think as you keep getting as they keep trying to get more detailed in the passing game to find some holes in this roswell defense the receivers are so wide bring them a little tighter shorter quicker throws second down and 10. and i think we're gonna have a penalty here on north cobb yes so now it's going to be second down in 15. warriors have been so disciplined in their first couple games here in the playoffs right now they're struggling with the penalties when the other team is playing so fast in front of you that happens complete detectment techman slips a tackle left across the 30 and techman out to the 43-yard line before finally being run down by d roberto i like this call and play with will love it quicker passes moving around good job good job that's what you need to do good job by techman drew techman but it starts with the quarterback give him some quicker easier throws right now they're playing man-to-man that was a good crossing route techman now five catches to see them finish the plays because right now yeah roswell they're feeling themselves from the standpoint of their playing faster they're stronger they're making better decisions and they're playing at a different speed than north cobb yep willis now with 51 yards rushing to go along with his 135 yards passing sheldon evans jay irwin stops him about a yard and a half on the play irwin with his fourth tackle of the ball game for most of the night this north cobb front they've done a good job on the run they haven't really been exposed but where the plays have really come is when willis has gotten back there and throwing the quick passes or used his legs this front's done pretty good so far second down and eight evans again a big hole first down evans down to the 38. i spoke too fast they break one out but again what you're starting to see now this north cobb defense is wearing down they're off balance from the standpoint of roswell's hit him in the air they ran the ball they ran outside this is just a gigantic hole credit to roswell off the right side blocking down just creating the running lanes right here for evans ran to the side of number 77 jordan tucker willis is able to get rid of the ball rather than take the sack but i tell you what comes with although so being a great scrambler is taking chances now on that play there with willis you got to be smart now get that's how you get hurt when you're trying to do too much trying to extend the play the guy has your leg and then you got guys coming to hit you again you got to learn how to fight your fights and pick your battles you gotta learn to fight again sometimes just gotta go down and now a flag comes out potential grounding and john ford who's very heated has to be pulled back to the sideline all the coaches got the pullback guy these days huh high school all the way on up i think he's saying that he was out of the pocket maybe well he was inside the tackle box was not outside the tackle box when teams that had a lot of made a lot of dumb penalties and then that we're really disciplined both of these teams need to learn how to keep their composure so second down and 31. willis sack back at the 39. gathers got him well i tell you nice job by gather staying alive but again we talked about malik willis i've talked about what he's done well let me tell you what i see that he needs to work on you can't extend every play quarterbacks who sit in the pocket like this a lot of times they don't last a long time you can't extend every play and you lose focus of where the rush is and who's around you sometimes you gotta like i said throw the ball stay within offense you can't freelance every play that's the sixth sack of the playoffs for thurman gathers sheldon evans on the carry warriors trying to strip him of the ball as he gets across the 50 and down to the 46. he picked up 15 but the hornets will now have to punt sheldon evans limping a little bit it's like he might have injured that ankle again nice job running here good tough run but right somewhere in here you can see he starts favoring that leg trying to get down i wouldn't be surprised if we see that that's the last of they were in the zone instead of playing basically a cover three and everyone playing for the deep ball but i'll tell you something that's changed malik willis right now he's not in rhythm he's kind didn't have to back out that way step up and step sometime and feel that pocket you can take off and run vertical and split that seam and have a chance to make a play or don't keep drifting back up doing an excellent job crosses the middle when they're playing zone all eyes are on the quarterback he found an open seam and put on the jets whoa it's heating up here in the stadium roswell are on their heels right now 21-14 here's your tcsg touchdown replay yep all they do is they run across across the middle they bring the receiver from the right goes crosses to the left and techman comes from the left to the right on a drag route does an excellent job touchdown crosser across the middle wide open look there in the zone well as some of you may have heard i thought this game was over after the first quarter and my apologies to the north cobb warriors and shane queen's team i underestimated them chuck they are back in the game and this game is not over yep they have arisen we talked about the adjustments at halftime and we talked about how are they going to get back in the game passing they haven't had any success running but early on they've had a lot of success throwing the ball that is the recipe kick will not be returned and the hornets will have it at the 20 and north cobb has all the momentum right now because i was agreeing with you now i mean look norm cobb showed no heartbeat it looked like it was going to be a i mean a game where they get wiped out here but guess what what they did they made the proper adjustments at halftime and they said you know what let's come on let's throw the ball let's stop acting like we can run on them and let's throw the ball cause we've shown that we can make some success there well they are back in the ball game and we're gonna have a different story heading to the fourth quarter than many of us thought evans on the carry gonna be stopped in his tracks by chandler wooten who makes his seventh tackle of the night and remember malik willis broke off a 50-yard touchdown run that would have made it 28 to nothing it got called back by the penalty it has been all north cobb ever since we talked about discipline i mean from the time this game started it seems like every third play i'm saying you got to be disciplined you got to be smart you can't have silly penalties that set you back in championship games like this where teams have heart and teams can make adjustments i mean you just got to be prepared you know to come to the game and try to clean it up we are headed to a dramatic fourth quarter because of game so they're doing basically what i would do to drew tekman is i would press him at the line and play someone a safety over top of them and double team them take him out the game let someone else make a play here and now if i'm in north if i'm north cobb i'm airing it out but i'm still running being smart but i'm eventually going to try to find a way to find someone else to make some plays so about was what perseverance man wanting it more on that play let's see they're going to move backwards it's going to be against roswell well that's a big penalty because roswell remember they've been having a lot of success early on with the quick screens getting the ball out of the quarterback's hands all right we showed you setting up for the last second field goal attempt two seconds to go looks like it's squared away at about the 23-yard line 24-yard line so you're looking at a 34-yard attempt and randy mcpherson's gonna let him think about it we'll come back to westlake out of the time-out well the penalty was against roswell a five-yard penalty backs it up to the original line of scrimmage yeah because if you're right now if you're on roswell's side you got to be thinking to get the ball close to the 20 somewhere in there you got to be thinking field goal you got to think about you're up by seven you get a field goal it puts you up by 10. especially with the defense you have you got to feel good about that but that's important right here i believe that if i'm on north cobb side i'm doing whatever i have to do to stop these guys and taking some chances on the run and trying to stop them and keep them from getting out of field goal range because to me this is close to what i would call almost to the game if you give them a field goal it's going to be tough to get back in it third down and 10 from the 39 and the officials have yet to put the ball in play here malik will is very dangerous right here in the pocket has the ability to run for 10 here if he gets a chance spread out lobs it downfield incomplete cory reed is target and now it's fourth down back to nelly all right here's the end of it randy mcpherson called the time out to ice the west lake kicker 34 yard field goal attempt and you see the reaction westlake advances 34-yard field goal as time expires low level 7a they get the winner of this one wow so westlake advances and will play either my passing game so with west lake advancing chuck that means that if roswell wins this game they'll have a coin toss to determine who the home team is but i don't think that either one of the teams roswell or westlake would meet stadium requirements correct so they'd have to go to a neutral site north cobb wins the north cobb is the visiting team west lake the home team but again they'll have to play it at some stadium other than westlake stadium chuck they've already been talking about the possibility of norcross or mckitron or maybe even fifth third lovett slings it out of there complete to techman he got dropped immediately on the play that's mckinney on the tackle mckinney's had a big night four tackles an interception tackle for loss and a fumble recovery for xavier mckinney the number nine ranked safety in the country he's just he's not going to announce his commitment until the under armour game on january 1. that's a good place to do it second down and six heavy rush matt when we're looking at the situation now matt it's 8 13. you can't give up a field goal here if i'm north cobb if i'm the warriors i got to do whatever i have to do to keep them out of the end zone got to if you got to send pressure send to marlette willis send them at the quarterback but you got to figure it out because right now they haven't been able to run the ball with efficiency well you got to give north cobb a lot of credit for just getting back in this game from where they were at halftime hornets back on offense at the 47-yard line big hole sheldon evans to the outside and this team no matter what happens these guys are giving great effort and that's a testament to coach queen in this program and it's going to continue because he's a heck of a coach and these guys i playoffs it's just a community event you know that's good to see there was a lot of talking going on before the game even with assistant coaches not the players but the assistant coaches tonight but it's good to see the guys hugging here as the final seconds are wearing out they know that they were in a fight both teams did north cobb gave them a good run there in the second half when it appeared they had nothing in the tank at halftime made a valiant effort to get back in this game and make it a game going into the fourth quarter but roswell is now 13-0 and on their way gary play against westlake you know my uh oldest child giovanni with the west lake so she's gonna sure gonna be at the game they're gonna be fired up you know down in southwest atl and it's going to be a great game that will do it roswell has now won 27 of their last 28 games what an incredible job john ford has done with this roswell program chuck five years ago in 2011 roswell went 0 and 10. really 0 and 10 and they have now won 27 of their last 28 games well obviously coach ford has done an excellent job it always starts at the top starts with the coach starts with the kids and the community and you know give roswell a lot of credit i mean anytime you you don't want a game you come back and have this kind of success it's much deserving good job today matt it's good working with you as always fighting hard there in the second half and it was pretty close but then roswell just was too strong a lot of drama and then they came on let's check out the early highlights in this game and early on it was all roswell taking charge it's malik willis he's back to pass number seven finds corey reed open corey reed breaks the tackle scoots into the end zone to put roswell up 7-0 then it's malik willis hits jayden common the corner of the end zone 14 to nothing second quarter malik willis he keeps it right up the middle 25 yards makes it 21-0 at the half now the third quarter was all north cobb will love it to drew techman techman goes 82 yards he will not be caught cuts the lead to 21-7 and then it's north cobb again it's will levitt 17 yards same guy drew tekman he scores and we got a ball game 21-14 heading into the fourth quarter then in the fourth quarter it turns out to be all roswell sheldon evans right up the middle will not be denied he makes a touchdown to make it 28-14 and a little bit later it's malik willis to christian ford the long pass here comes ford running like a cadillac makes it 35-14 and right there the hive pump and it's 22-21 your final score right there as
