I think it's easy to just say, "Hey, we're just celebrating."
But you know what?
It's 2023, and we have a lot of work to do.
Because I started in this business as a woman myself and had to come up through the ranks.
I feel a special affinity to be a part of a program that honors young women and shows them the way to the future, because that's what we all need -- a leg up.
If you don't have something or someone who's pushing you, then an organization that says, "I see you're trying, and I think you have talent," that means the world.

Archibald: I feel like the thing that I've learned that's been the most influential, you know, that people genuinely believe in me and really want to understand and take the time to support my ideas.
Hill: I always feel that exposure is key.
So Girls With Impact has created this phenomenal opportunity to be able to do that.
They actually do partner with other corporations where then girls are able to see the fruits of the labor that have been put in by other women that have come before them, to then take what they've learned and then see what it looks like in real life.

International Women's Day means so much to me.
It means unapologetically being yourself and not being afraid of anything.
And I've really gotten into writing music, and so that's something I want to attack next.
I'm singing an unreleased song tonight for Girls With Impact, so I'm excited to show ventriloquism to the world.
And ventriloquism was a dying art, obviously, but it was also a male-dominated art.
And so being able to just pursue that and be supported by the world was so much fun.
And I've already come so far and only 18.
There's just such a long road to go.
So let me get this straight.

That's the key.

It's events like tonight, organizations like Girls with Impact, that support such important causes, and it's what brings us all together.
Being together is how we take these steps.
Openshaw: It's so important that we have role models and also role models who represent the different kinds of people that we are, from all different ethnicities, and we really strive to have that.
They want to work with people who look like them, and so we work really hard to do that.
And that's also what tonight is about.
