Eddie Adcock was born in 1938 He began his professional musical career as a 5 string banjoist in 1953 and went on to collaborate with many other musicians, including Smokey Graves, Mac Wiseman, Bill Harrell, Buzz Busby and Bill Monroe. He later joined joined The Country Gentlemen. He now performs almost exclusively with his wife Martha and calls Nashville his home.
