Tenor Jonas Kaufmann and soprano Kristine Opolais join Andris Nelsons at his inaugural concert as as Boston Symphony Orchestra Music Director to perform "O Soave Fanciulla," the Act I Finale from Puccini's opera La Boheme. Born in Riga in 1978 into a family of musicians, Nelsons began his career as a trumpeter in the Latvian National Opera Orchestra before studying conducting.
