(audience applauding) - Hello, and welcome to "Expressions".
I'm your host, Adara Alston.
Tonight we have a special concert performance from one of the best indie rock bands in the Southern tier, Grown Ups.
With propulsive instrumentation and surprisingly catchy melodies, this band leaves an impression with every recording and concert.
A big reason for their success is the strong friendship the group has formed in their time together.
Two of their four members, Oliver Kammerman and Kit Kolpakas have been friends since high school, while guitarist Chris James and percussionist Michael Micha round out the group.
For the show tonight, Grown Ups brought along a three-piece horn section, plus guest vocalist Alyssa Crosby, and performed songs from their two studio albums, "Nightlight" and "Great Big Lies".
