My company is called Wonderfully Made.
This is where I do all my work This is where you find me most of the time.
I really like to work with resin.
Resin is my main medium.
I like to work with natural elements like birch bark and driftwood, and then I incorporate the resin and acrylic into those pieces.
I find that living in the Northland and in Minnesota, people really like the shape of Lake Superior.
They really like the shape of Minnesota.
And when I was thinking about natural concepts to incorporate with that: driftwood and birch bark, were just so easily available and people just love it.
The driftwood, we pull it straight out of lake.
We usually we hunt for the driftwood year round.
Our best time is usually in the spring because it's frozen all winter.
And then when the waves start to churn up in the spring, that's when we can go out and hunt and just get like piles and piles of our driftwood.
And then we let it dry for about a year and then I can incorporate into my pieces.
I really enjoy it.
I do.
I love that I get to work from home.
I love that I have a home workshop.
It's been a really, really fun journey.
