(upbeat music) - The Jewish Community Center's Hanukkah Marketplace brings together community, culture, and celebration.
Barb Dolim joins us to preview this festive way to welcome the holiday season.
Hi, Barb.
- Hi, Mary.
- Welcome back.
Always good to have you.
- Thank you.
- So it's time again for your big marketplace- - It is.
- For Hanukkah, which I always love going to.
So tell me what you've got going on this year.
- So again, we have a lot of craft vendors, quite a few new ones, which will be fun.
We have a lotta Jewish food, our brisket sandwiches, matzoh ball soup, latkes, sufganiyot, which are the jelly donuts.
And then we have a lotta kids activities as well.
- Oh, that's great.
I know last year you had such great food.
- Mm-hmm.
- I always go there first.
(Barb laughing) And then I go through all the vendors' stalls.
- Yeah, very smart.
- So tell us what some of the crafts are that you've got coming.
- So we have, of course, ceramics, a lotta jewelry, and some unique jewelry.
We have this woman who makes these really adorable rubber ducks.
(Mary laughing) We have like bath salts and soaps and candles and some items made from alpaca.
- Oh.
- Actually two vendors who do alpaca items.
And what else?
I don't know, there's a whole array.
- [Mary] I know, I know.
- And chocolates, we have this woman who does these delicious chocolates.
It's great so.
- And so when is it this year?
- It is Sunday, November 16 from noon 'til 5:00.
- All right, and I know you've got activities for the kids.
- We do.
- So what's going on for kids?
- So we have face painting.
We have a bounce house and we have a soccer game.
We have a football game.
We have like a Frisbee game, and that will all take place in our gym.
- Oh wow, so lots to do for everybody.
- Lots to do.
- Yeah, last year, I got some pretty good finds there.
- Did you?
Good, yes.
- Yeah, yeah.
- And we have plentiful parking now that all the construction's done.
So should be easy to get in and out.
- Great, well, Barb, thanks so much for being here.
Thanks.
- Thanks.
