Thank you, Pelham, thank you.

Thank you.
(audience claps) - Well, clearly I am the one who is not living in Tennessee currently, as you can tell from the Boston accent.
(audience laughs) I'm joking.
So I don't know, what can I tell you about myself?
Kind of a self-confessed guitar slut.
(audience laughs) That's a thing.
I've recently found a wonderful online platform where my guitar obsession and alcohol have come together.
And it's called eBay.
(audience laughs) I recently found myself in the small hours navigating the dark corners of that wonderful platform.
Bought myself a guitar from Hawaii made in the 1920s.
It was tuned to the traditional Hawaiian tuning.
And that was a brand new thing for me.
I had no idea what to do with that.
So I sat in my kitchen trying to think of a song, that could have some kind of Hawaiian slant to it.
So I wrote this next song from the mindset of a, of a cowboy who wants to move to Hawaii, like a Hawaiian cowboy.
I know that sounds like a missing page from the Karma Sutra.
But, the idea is this guy wants to, he wants quit his job.
It may be the 1930s somewhere.
He's found a postcard of Waikiki Bay.
And he's just dreaming, while he's riding his horse thinking, I'm off, I'm gonna move to Hawaii and learn to surf.
So this is called, "Cowboy in Hawaii" (upbeat guitar music) (upbeat guitar music) ♪ I'm nobody's sweetheart, nobody's fool... ♪ ♪ My pony knows which way to go, ♪ ♪ and I don't argue ♪ ♪ Postcard in my pocket, ragged and worn ♪ ♪ But you could still just see ♪ ♪ Waikiki shining like a new coin ♪ ♪ I've been dreaming of an island paradise, ♪ ♪ so they say... ♪ ♪ Do they need any cowboys in Hawaii ♪ ♪ Another day, another dollar, ♪ ♪ I lay my sleepy head down ♪ ♪ Under western skies, I close my eyes and drift away ♪ ♪ Maybe I could learn to surf ♪ ♪ like Duke Kahanamoku ♪ ♪ Ride the tropical swells, meet the the local girls ♪ ♪ Just let me dream, dream, dream ♪ ♪ Oh, I'm dreaming of an island paradise, ♪ ♪ so they say... ♪ ♪ Do they need any cowboys in Hawaii ♪ (upbeat guitar music) ♪ Trade this old pony for white horses in the waves ♪ ♪ Do they need any cowboys in Hawaii ♪ (upbeat guitar music) (upbeat guitar music) ♪ Honolulu, how do you do ♪ ♪ Ukulele, yippee-ki-yay ♪ ♪ Do you need any cowboys in Hawaii ♪ (upbeat guitar music) ♪ Trade this old pony for white horses in the waves ♪ ♪ Do they need any cowboys ♪ ♪ Do they need any cowboys ♪ ♪ Do they need any cowboys in Hawaii ♪ (upbeat guitar music) (cheering and applause) (cheering and applause) - Sam, Martin informed me that we've never played in a cave in England when we play over there, because they're all full of cheese, which is... I didn't know that either.
It wasn't a joke, they all laughed.

(audience laughs) - I like a good cheese joke.
- Me too.
(audience laughs) - You all might not be able to hear it because you're having such a great time, but there's this little stream back here.
It's so pleasant.
I wanna take a nap and go to the bathroom at the same time.
(audience laughs) But I'm not gonna do either.
(audience laughs) We've toured in many different facets together.
And we just wanted to write songs, honestly, that just made us feel good, and uh, and to have a good time doing it, and to share it with whoever might wanna hear it.
And uh, it's been such a treat to get the takeout into the world.
This is our first U.S. tour.
This is a very special treat for us, and.
(audience cheers) Yeah.
(audience claps) So one of the first songs we wrote together is this next song that we're gonna play.
And we were about three weeks out from making the record and we hadn't written anything yet... 'cause we are overachievers.
(audience laughs) So we started scramping and you know, like sending voice memos and ideas and melodies and stuff.
Martin started sending over lines about how, I'm not gonna do this if you don't do that.
And I'm not going there if you're not gonna do that.
And Kimbro and I were quite convinced he was just sending us things that his children were saying.
