We'll be right back.
See you in a little bit.
Dominick Leslie: Being on the road is everything I've ever dreamed of.
I love it, but it's also very exhausting when you just do it nonstop and you never go home in between.
I can't complain.
Living the dream.
Paul Kowart: You know, what we do is constantly searching for something new, otherwise what are we doing?
There are these points along the way where something really clicks and that you realize you've been searching for, or not, and it just shows up.
Yeah, I guess that's probably, when I think about my best memories, it kind of comes down to that.
Jordan: That kind of process of making something from nothing.
It feels almost like a treasure hunt sometimes, you know?
It's like a really--it's like it can be really fun.
It can be really fun collaboratively too, to kind of have that be a transfer of energy and ideas with people in a room.
Brittany: I like the moment when you're doing it, like, you're like in the moment and you're, like, everybody's doing exactly something that is working so well together and you'll just, like, kind of, feel like you're taking flight and you, like, get carried away and lost in it.
Jordan: Our music is very, very communication-based and dynamic so, you know, we're really kind of tapping into each other, tapping into each other's dynamics and rhythms and things.
Paul: I like this model, playing in a sanctuary with a couple speakers on stands.
I dunno, it just seems to work nicely.
I grew up playing in a sanctuary.
Maybe that's why I like it.
Brittany: Oh my gosh, it's so amazing.
I mean, the sound which is, like, obviously high on our list of good things about a place to play, is--'cause that makes you play better, knowing that the room is awesome.
Such a beautiful room, too.
Dominick: It's good.
It's like a church but it's not too churchy, you know?
It's not too cathedral-like.
There's almost like a warmth to it, which is kind of nice.
Jordan: Those moments when you're just kind of lost in the music and your brain is just kind of turned off and you're just playing the song in front of you and decorating the silence.
It's a nice thing to be able to share.
