Health care workers eager for COVID booster are frustrated

Federal officials are slated to offer guidance on the issue later this month.
“I think it’s super important to now get the booster because we’re seeing it every day,” said Corinne Scarpa, a health care worker who was fully vaccinated months ago but who wants to boost her immunity with a third COVID-19 shot as the delta variant of the coronavirus is still surging. Some health care workers are reportedly “jumping the line” to protect themselves with a third dose.
