A local non-profit helps with survival essentials for elders on the Navajo Nation.
Many senior citizens in the Navajo Nation and surrounding areas face severe hardships, including a lack of food, clothing, and even medicine. But with the help of the local non-profit organization, Adopt-a-Native Elder, several hundred of these elders can get some of the support they need to age with dignity at home.
