Leslie Wilcox welcomes Harry Rice to Long Story Short.
A direct descendant of a missionary family, Henry Rice’s roots run deep in upcountry Maui. His grandfather purchased Kaonoulu Ranch a century ago, and with roughly 10,000 acres of land stretching from the top of Haleakala to Maui’s south shore, it remains one of the few nearly intact ahupua‘a left in Hawai‘i. After a stint as a banking executive in Honolulu, he returned to Maui.
