A Look at Beloit's Jobless Rate

Clip: Season 800 Episode 843 | 7m 27s

Art Hackett offers the first of two reports on Beloit's unemployment rate.

The national unemployment rate is slowly declining, with nearly 10 percent of the nation without jobs. Beloit leads the state with a jobless rate of more than 18 percent, two percentage points ahead of Racine. This is the first of a two-part series about how residents of Beloit are coping with the jobless rate and their efforts to curb that number's growth.
