GED Passing Score Lowers After Test Difficulty Increases

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction GED Administrator Beth Lewis explained changes.

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction GED Administrator Beth Lewis explained that changes were made because of newly available data. The data showed the GED's qualifying passing score could be lowered and still equate to high school equivalency. An extra 500 people in Wisconsin will now qualify to pass the exam.
