Northern wisconsin receives means to build a faster internet connection.

Thirty million dollars in federal stimulus money will help fund a project to lay fiber optic cable in areas such as Superior, Platteville, Wausau, The Chippewa Valley Region and Menominee County. A faster ability to connect will help emergency responders, and help improve education in rural areas. We speak with Christine Quinn, UW Extension Provost and and Vice Chancellor about the project.
