Peg Lautenschlager is a former state attorney general and now chair of the state ethics commission. The member who resigned was a Democratic appointee to the new agency, which recently replaced the nonpartisan Government Accountability Board. The commissioner resigning, Robert Kinney, said in his resignation letter the new model requires "too much secrecy and too little transparency."
