In a 4-3 decision, the Wisconsin State Supreme Court approved State Superintendent Tony

In a 4-3 decision this week, the Wisconsin State Supreme Court approved State Superintendent Tony Evers' authority over public schools. This overrules Gov. Scott Walker's 2011 law that required state agencies like the Department of Public Instruction to seek approval from the governor before creating new administrative rules.
