A federal judge declined a request to halt Wisconsin's voter ID laws next month.

A federal judge declined a request to halt Wisconsin's voter ID law next month. He did, however, criticize the state for not doing enough to educate voters who struggle submitting the documents they need to get a free voter ID. The request came after reports finding DMV employees gave some of those voters wrong information.
