University of Wisconsin System chancellors were scheduled to give five-minute presentations regarding how their respective campuses are handling budget cuts to the Board of Regents last week, before UW System President Ray Cross cancelled them and instead requested one-page reports. UW-Eau Claire Chancellor James Schmidt said his campus received a 26 percent cut in state appropriations.
