UW Stout Chancellor Cracks Down on College Drinking

Charles Sorensen plans to suspend students for off-campus drinking violations.

The University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor Charles Sorensen announced a plan recently to cut down on underage and excessive drinking on his campus, including penalizing students in relation to their off-campus violations. The announcement comes after a seventh student to die from an alcohol-related incident in the past two years on the campus was killed by a drunken driver.
