Gov. Scott Walker announced he plans to freeze tuition again in the next biennial budget.

Gov. Scott Walker announced he plans to freeze tuition again in the next biennial budget. Tuition has now been frozen since 2013 for in-state students at University of Wisconsin System colleges and universities. UW administrators are fine with the freeze they say, as long as they receive additional state funding to make up for it. Walker says he has no plans to write that into the budget.
