The state Assembly Committee on Children and Families heard testimonies for a bill Wednesday that would legalize possession of marijuana extract used to treat symptoms of seizure-causing conditions like epilepsy. The extract is known as CBD oil and is already fully legal in some other states. Skeptics of the bill point out it will not give families a place to buy the product in the state.
