A film that reveals the life of a renowned sculptor, feminist, and suffragist, Elisabet Ney.

Elisabet Ney was a sculptor and feminist who fought for woman’s suffrage. Immigrating to Texas from Germany, she built her art studio in Austin in 1892, which now serves as Elisabet Ney Museum. While in Austin, she completed sculptures of Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston. In 1907, she was in the first group of women to testify for woman suffrage before a committee of the Texas legislature.
