The Center for Rural Development in Somerset says it's a $31 million project using federal money and state matching funds and will mean more affordable, high speed Internet to 33,000 homes.
Some homes will get the new service in 3 to 6 months.
Others will get it for a year and a half or won't get it until over a year and a half.
