The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities opened up a bidding process.
In a unanimous vote, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities opened up a bidding process for developers to pitch wind energy projects located off the New Jersey coast. In total the turbines would generate 1,100 megawatts of clean energy.
