The Tax Incentive Task Force said $578 million in tax breaks should be investigated.

Gov. Phil Murphy's Tax Incentive Task Force said $578 million approved or awarded in tax breaks should be investigated and some of it should be terminated. It issued its third and final report Thursday, reporting tax consultants encouraged applicants to make false statements to get tax breaks.
