For the first time in New York's history, a woman is now in charge of the Senate.

Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D-Yonkers) officially became Senate Majority Leader Wednesday as Democrats now control the chamber with 39 members, 15 of which are new. Also, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone discusses the big wins Democrats had on Long Island, his "Suffolk County Fairness Agenda," and if he has any interest in running for governor in 2022.
