Christopher Columbus is often celebrated for discovering America. However, he has recently come under intense scrutiny for his treatment of the indigenous people he came upon, his actual geographical accomplishments, and the mythical folklore attached to him by the Founding Fathers. Contributing reporter Bill Bartholomew investigates whether Columbus deserves his status as a historical icon.
