Actress Lea Thompson made a name for herself in blockbuster Hollywood movies, but her love of the arts was born in Minnesota. Her first starring role was at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis and Lea trained as a ballet dancer with Minnesota Dance Theater.
