Six local Holocaust survivors were interviewed by nine middle school students.
Between 1949 and 1952 more than 80,000 Holocaust survivors immigrated to the U.S. nearly 350 survivors live in the Las Vegas area. Nine middle school students from the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV, won an essay contest sponsored by the Nevada Governors Advisory Board and received the opportunity to interview seven Holocaust survivors.
