Last year’s survey found nearly 8,100 people homeless across the state

Social service organizations across New Jersey took part in a point-in-time survey Wednesday to count the homeless population and others at risk. The annual survey is done to determine how much federal funding is needed. Last year’s count found nearly 8,100 men, women and children homeless across the state.
