Homelessness is a big problem reaching crisis proportions here in this region.
And every year Chum has left the community in acknowledging those persons who have unfortunately died.
The numbers keep increasing each year and it is why we do this to draw attention to the fact that we are losing too many lives.
Tonight we remembered 77 persons.
These comprised of individuals who had experienced homelessness as well as those persons who would have served them.
I think it's over 15 years that we've been doing this vigil.
